I am not exactly completely happy with the icons.png. I'm actually thinking of switching to Runesmith's in the near future, if that would make anyone happy at all. :tongue.gif:

Hey all.

I just wanted to state real quick, for the creators of this pack, that I love it, and thank you for all that you do to keep it updated for us. :smile.gif:

I've just re-installed the newest 1.4 Gerudoku texture pack, using Xau's patcher. Everything went flawlessly as always.

Maybe it's just my imagination, but is the pack darker after the last update, for some reason? One of the things that I loved about Gerudoku was how bright it was. I really liked the old Doku RPG pack, but it was too dark, so Geru was a godsend.

Before the 1.4 update, I remember it being pretty bright and lovely, but now, for some reason, at least on my end, it's back to being somewhat dark in general.

Has anyone else noticed this, or.. am I going crazy?

I didn't change anything that would make it darker, so beats me. Post a screenshot so we can tell you DEFINITIVELY that you are going crazy.

Well, tombones is the official GERUDOKU. Mine, and several other peoples (Tyken, Danscottbrown, etc.) are fan made packs - remixes, if you like. However, in terms of time, mine is the most recently updated. :smile.gif:

I dunno what is changed each update that it automatically breaks the texture packs but I /had/ it patched and I was like "well since this didn't break except for new blocks last time I should be fine", except blocks that were [theoretically] untouched were broke.

I never noticed that there were different 'takes' on Gerudoku. Maybe that's why it looks slightly different to me. I know last time I DL'd it off of the original post, so I got the 'official' Gerudoku and this time I downloaded your version, since I assumed they were all the same.

I need to pay more attention, I think.

Though, I think I may have figured it out. This is a screenshot I took a few days ago:



And this is from today, same world, same spot:



The grass is quite a bit darker, so maybe that's what's throwing me off and making me think the world overall is darker.

Hey, first time poster. Just wanted to say thanks for your version of the GERUDOKU pack Richasackboy. I only had time for a quick runthrough, but I really like your version of the trees and grass, and the higher contrast on wood floors, railings and beds seem a definate improvement. The new tools are cool as well. Pumpkins will take some getting used to.

Only negatives I have are the Birch trees (they seem more like zebra skin than tree bark) and the bookshelves (they're okay individually, but it looks wierd to have a blue bottle on every shelf). I kinda preferred the original Gerudoku textures on these.
Other than that, I think its an epic texture.

Btw, are the pink and brown sheep in this pack? Maybe I'm not looking hard enough, but I've been playing a lot today and haven't seen a single one in the original Geru pack, or this one.

looks like you got biome grass shading turned on, somehow (and that appears to be the flowered version??) I would recommend not using biome shaded grass unless you use one of those fancy sidegrass mods

Probably because I changed the grasscolor.png >.<

I can change it to a lighter color if you like.

its not your fault, the pig made it look lighter.

anyway, i love the gerudoku Texture Pack, and i cant wait for the offical (sorry Richasackboy) new textures!
and now for something different: i found a brown sheep! (just felt like bragging).

I thought something strange was up with the grass, besides the darkness. Shading would make sense.



I noticed it was really.. splotchy. Lighter and darker in different places for no real reason.

How would I go about turning off biome grasss shading? I haven't come across this option, either in MC or Xau's patcher.

Hey, tombones, Just Wanted to Ask:

In The new update for Minecraft theres Wolves and Cookies but in the older texture pack they weren't showing up. I was wondering if you have an update of the texture to show the Wolves and Cookies. IM DIEING TO HAVE A PET WOLF.
