This is a pretty cool texture pack, except half the trees are yellow for some reason.
You must have selected the texture pack in Xau's tool when patching to 128. I suggest not doing so in the installation instructions because it allows you to toggle to the original textures at 128 pixels. The fact is that I included developmental colorgrass and colorfoliage files in the 2.5 distribution and they are not suitable for actual game-play, just for easily determining the biome distribution for testing. That was an error on my part that will be corrected in 2.6 ( later today? ).
To resolve it, you can replace the colorgrass.png and colorfoliage.png files in your minecraft.jar with ones from the backup that Xau's tool created when patching your client. This should be called minecraft.original.jar
I just downloaded this texture pack a couple of minutes ago and i put it on my desktop, put the minecraft launcher in it, then i try to run it. I log in, it says the Mojang Specifications this as it always does. It frezzes there for two minutes, then crashes. anyone got any ways to fix this? BTW im on a mac.

I'm not sure what you mean by "put the minecraft launcher in it," I don't usually play Minecraft on my mac, just the WinXP box. Maybe if you point me towards the location of Mac instructions for your method I could help you with this. When I do play on the Mac, I just do it as I describe in the installation instructions, using Xau's patcher. Does that not work for you? I'm on OS X 10.6.
Also, when I said put the minecraft launcher in it i meant that I put the minecraft icon into the texture pack's folder that I downloaded, and run it from there. That is just because it does not work if I put it in my textures folder in the minecraft folder.

To give our children and future generations hope, we must destroy every child on Earth and never have any more. I have already started this misson, child numbers have been halved in my local district. Will you join the cause?
Sorry, this weekend was really busy for me. I will upload tomorrow! Promise! The good news is that I've done over half the items.png file now! Hand crafted wooden tools / weapons are all compete and most of the items other than armor and the remaining tools / weapons.
But I won't hold up this update any longer. I have all the known issues resolved.

Just Xau's HD texture fix which is required to use this pack. It's linked in the instructions below the DL link in the OP. Tick the boxes for animated water and custom water and add the included custom_water_flowing.png and the custom_water_still.png files to your minecraft.jar.
The still water texture matches, but the animation is not as polished as the flowing water's is. Yet.
Version 2.6 is uploaded and ready. I refuse to update the original post because of the dumb-ass BBcode embargo. It will blow apart into a million ugly-ass bits.
I'm going to take Sanguine off this board and moving it to my site to get away from this crap-tastic forum management. The posts will stay up and get updated with the new link if they ever fix BBcode. Unbeliveable!
Follow the old instructions for now. But tick all options and copy the custom_x_y.png files, the items.png file and the dial.png into the minecraft.jar if you want animated custom water and lava and a cool new gold Notchex watch. The rest of the items will appear even if you don't copy the items.png and dial.png in, but not the Notchex.
Thank you copperdomebodha :smile.gif: nice texture pack you have made, this is the first time I am using a texture pack I really liked Sanguine it looks very close to the original from outside but in HD awesome!

I'm pleased you're enjoying it madcrafter! Yes, I wanted to try to keep the overall feel of the original textures intact. I just wanted to kick it up a Notch! :tongue.gif:
Please share a screenshot of your world running Sanguine if you'd like! I love to see other people's creations.

Did you follow the installation instructions just below the download link? Did you use Xau's patcher?
Is WinRAR or 7Zip still open? Is Minecraft still open?
If you provide more information I can probably help you resolve this. Haven't had anyone yet that couldn't get it running. Sorry you're having trouble with it though.

Sorry for the ugliness.
I really need bump-mapped ambient occlusion glasses, DO WANT
Old Default | Minecraft with an old flavour
Are you following these instructions? viewtopic.php?f=25&t=85656#p1300740
Can you tell me when it crashes?
I'd move the whole Minecraft installation to the desktop, run Minecraft and try again. Something must be corrupted.
Your saves etc will now be on the desktop. Replace them after you get it all working.

Xau's patcher is at viewtopic.php?f=25&t=46173&hilit=128
If you follow these instructions it should work. I am running it on 10.6 installed just as those instructions say.

Please do tell. I'm open to any criticism. But broad statements like that aren't of any use to me.

v.2.6 - a.k.a. Smashing pumpkins
So, I ran lava through my new process this morning. I knew I should go to the lab and check itbefore I uploaded it. But what could go wrong? Right?
So still lava is gyrating like a mad off-center merry go round and flowing lava is flowing at water speed and UP! Dammit!
I'll fix it.
