I've never had a problem finding clay on any world. Just travel the sandy coasts, you always find some.
Clay balls morph back into clay blocks - 4 of them =1 block.
How did I not know that?! Thanks for teaching me something new. And believe me, I've circumnavigated the entire continent I spawned on and got 64. I've been exploring the other surrounding continents a bit at a time, but I guess I just need to keep looking.
From what I see you texture pack looks awesome and I would love to use it, but If I try to run Minecraft with your pack in the texture loader folder, the game wont even get to the menu screen it just crashes. Any Ideas?

looks awesome but minecraft wont even load with the zip in my textures folder
Perhaps I should make it even more obvious since I added the screenshots and they push the text way down, but the instructions for installing this pack are in the OP. I'll copy them here.
Installation and usage:
Download and run Run Xau's excellent HD texture fix mod
In Xau's patcher...
choose your .minecraft.jar file in the "Output" field
Do not choose anything in the texture pack field.
choose 128 x 128 as the size in Xau's patcher.
Tick all three "animated xyz" options.
Leave the "custom xyz" options un-ticked.
Press the "Patch button" and let it complete.
Quit Xau's HD texture patcher.
Run Minecraft.
In Minecraft...
login
Select the "Mods and Texture Packs" button.
Press the "open texture pack folder" button
Move the downloaded Sanguine .zip file to the texturepacks folder that opened.
Return to the minecraft application.
In Minecraft...
Select Sanguine from the list of texture packs.
Press Done.
Have fun playing Minecraft with Sanguine textures!

I had this same problem, but then I fixed it by following the directions exactly. Don't do anything out of order. For instance, I had the texture pack already in my texture folder before starting the patcher. No go. Deleted my minecraft folder, started up Minecraft for a fresh install. Following the directions exactly (except for some reason the button to open the texturepack folder didn't work so I had to manually open it up) and it worked like a charm.

Great pack, by the way!
Thanks Cheldog! I'm glad you're enjoying it!
I also modified the instructions to make it clear that you should not per-install the texture pack and otherwise cleaned it up. Thanks for the feedback! Feel free to give me suggestions and criticism on the pack if you have 'em.

Do you plan on adding high-res weapons and paintings (and anything else that you haven't done yet)? That's my only complaint. My weapons look so odd. >.<
It looks like you don't have the default grasscolor.png in the minecraft.jar file. Don't use the one in my pack to replace it with though. It's terrible. Only there because it's not used in the current system. The default one should be in .minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar/misc/grasscolor.png
I suspect another pack replaced it with a clear one. That technique allows the colors on the terrain.png to be used. My grass is grey on the terrain.png file to allow the biome colors to change it as biomes change.
Let me know if you need a copy of the grasscolor.png.

I plan on completing every texture in the pack. I just about have the gui complete. I'll post that update soon. It takes a lot of time to work your way through a 128 pack if you're trying to get them all just so. I personally don't mind tohe tools, so I haven't had a burning desire to replace them. Thus other elements came first like the gui. But I do have plans for them.
Wait till you see what I have planned for paintings!
In the meantime, misa has some damn nice tools and armor if you haven't seen them yet check em out.
I love your toolbar thingy (whatever it's called), could I have it?
It's called Arc mining progress bar. Click my sig pic to find a download link for it. Leave a comment on it's page if you use it so others might see it too. Stuff sinks to the bottom faster around here than I do in a suit of gold armor.

That got it. Thought I started fresh that time :smile.gif:

Awesome! I can't wait to see what you have cooked up! This and Glimmar's Steampunk are my favorite texture packs so far. :biggrin.gif:

Makes sense, how does one get around this, and still be able to play with the pack?
Sorry I don't have the url to the thread, but I'm sure googling for MCPatcher will make it show up.

Agreed (on both topics).
