This texture pack is just gorgeous! I love the cobblestone, and the tree trunks. This just may be the texture pack that convinces me to try higher-res (how much of a performance hit should I expect?).
Thanks for all the positive comments! I apologize for the delayed update for 1.3_01. I haven't had any free time lately. I'v made this rlease available before completing the textures so some are still default textures. Hopefully I'll have a chance to do these and the items this week.

It all depends on your system. I have a 6 year old high end system.
With Sanguine
I get 30 fps right after loading
I get 120 looking up at a rock ceiling
With the default 16 pixel textures
I get 45 fps right after loading
I get 80 looking up at a rock ceiling ( hmm odd that it's lower )
So I take a good 30% hit to framerate running 128 packs. And in the spirit of full disclosure I also have occasional crashes opening containers. That may be memory related as the gui files are quite large.
Just try it and see. It's easy to revert if the performance is an issue.
Maybe there is something I'm missing here? I searched the thread for it, but how can I get the progress meter? I don't see a download link for it anywhere, it doesn't appear to be in the most recent version (3.6). I have the mod installed just fine, however I only get normal breaking.
EDIT: I found an old thread about it, however I think it might be helpful to include a link to that within this thread, at least if you're going to mention it and not include it :smile.gif:
This is honestly my favourite texture pack and I actually searched for it in Google to find it. Dedication.
I've been playing vanilla waiting for this release ;D
Please keep working on it :3
Nice. Thanks Clintonxa! Hearing from people that like Sanguine really helps me keep working on it right now.

My torches are wire framed, please help.
I'll look into it. I haven't seen that on this release but I'll check again.
Thanks, sorry about being vague, i was very tired. They torches look normal but there is a wire frame around it, 2 intersecting lines above it and two lines going down the front and the back reaching the wall, i tried placing torches in a bunch of areas and every torch has it.

That's usually related to having AA on. Try turning it off to check.
Loving the new release, copper :smile.gif: I've been playing it all day.
Anti-Aliasing
I think the easiest way to find the setting is to google this with the brand of video card you have, and follow instructions. If you know how to, look at the properties of the Catalyst Control Center (under 3d settings), if you have ATI. No idea for nVidia et al.
Hey copperdomebodha, thanks for this pack, other than the standard textures, this is the only one I play with.. hopefully you keep updating! :-)
Not sure if you're aware, but there is a bug with the redstone -- in terrain.png, your texture pack name has an outer glow or something that goes into the redstone tile, so it messes that up a bit. Thought I'd let you know, thanks again for the wonderful pack!!

Thanks tigger490. I'll update it to restore the mask that should have kept the glow out of used tiles as soon as I can.
epic, really, really, good. But the ores, i could barely tell, which one was which, and if i was in a cave mining, i wouldnt be able to see them(in the dark)
still sly epic
If you're having any problems running Minecraft with 128 pixel texture packs just say so and I'll be happy to try to help you sort it out . Have you read and followed the installation instructions linked underneath the download link? If so, which method did you choose ?
Redstone wiring has been corrected to remove the flaw in it. No verison change, just updated the download file. Re-download 3.8 to get the new corrected texture.
I'm working on the bed and repeaters and should have new versions available soon.

Install and run Xau's HD Texture fix.
