Note: If you don't like realistic packs; flee while you still can!
Zoe: "You sanguine about the kind of reception we're apt to receive on an Alliance ship, Cap'n?"
Mal: "Absolutely.", "What's 'sanguine' mean?"
Zoe: " 'Sanguine'. Hopeful. Plus -- point of interest -- it also means 'bloody'."
Mal: "Well, that pretty much covers all the options, don't it?"

Sanguine used to include a custom mining progress indicator that replaces the default cracking texture. It is far easier to see in the dark underworld than the default cracks. The Arc mining progress bar is still available as a separate download.

( sorry for missing putting these up for so long! Thanks again! BTW I hotlinked your images since they were picasa hosted. If that's a problem let me know and I'll host them. )
I also highly recommend MrMMod's BetterLight mod. By way of example, here is a bump-mapped digital image of my grandmother with the ambient occlusion mod installed.
Aegon,
What OS?
What Minecraft version? I am unsure if it has been updated for today's patches. I am still running the haloween version because I hate patch days and the associated fail. I just don't store my password so I can easily play in offline mode.
What other mods do you have installed?
When you Edit it doesn't count it as a post so it keeps it on page 52 or where it was. = bad because unless you repost, or bump the thread no one will ever see your ****, hence people saying that the forums need to be split up because they do.
Why did you create a new thread for this? Can't you just update the first post in the old thread?
Because this is a major update and I wanted to change up the OP totally. I'm going to let the old thread sink. I hope you're not upset about the new post. I just looked at it as a clean break as Sanguine reached a significant milestone.

Minecraft Version- v1.2.1_01
Mods- NONE! Not even a texture pack :tongue.gif:
go get the most recent version of MRMMod's mod. Now called MrMMods v1.01. viewtopic.php?f=25&t=55700
decompress it and put the jar and the "mods" folders that it contains inside your .minecraft folder ( not in the /.minecraft/minecraft.jar file ! )
Run the MrMPatcher.jar from within the .minecraft folder where you just placed it.
If all goes well it will list your minecraft.jar file's path in the top "Original" field.
If it does not then go make a copy of your minecraft.jar file and then return to the MrMPatcher application window click the Browse button by the Original field and navigate to and select your minecraft.jar file
Now click the browse button by the Output field and select your minecraft.jar file again.
check the box for Ambient Occlusion.
Click the Patch button.
You should see the log window appear and list the changes made, then it should say "success probably"
quit the patcher and run minecraft.
Let me know if any of those steps fail. You should have AO in MC now.
Off topic and all that, but can you please tell me who the girl, on the bump-mapped digital image of your "grandmother" with the ambient occlusion mod installed, is?
Will you be updating this for the new official texture loader?
Yes, and not just repackaging. Version 2.3 will be ready sometime today I hope. This is a major reworking with ores finally getting some treatment, many existing textures have been improved and flowing and still textures for water and lava! Its so beautiful it makes the current version sad and depressed. It's eating ice cream in the tub right now.
I'll hopefully have this release up this evening, but if the HD texture patcher isn't updated by then it won't matter. If I see Xau update the patcher I'll definitely put 2.3 up tonight, otherwise I may wait until tomorrow and continue with my GUI tweaking.

No worries. Just checking since it sounded a bit PO'd. It's just the internet, anything you write can sound that way. No damn eyebrows or voice cues.
