Looks like this is dead yet again. I'd really like to see this project finished, so if it is alright with you and everyone else, i'd like to pick this project up. I have a little experience working with 16x16 asian style textures. Thats the town i make with a pack that i've started.

Hey, dude, I'm getting into modding, and i was thinking of making a feudal age Japanese mod, I would be very happy to add new items or blocks for you so you could include a mod with the pack that's an option for anyone wanting the mod. , You could re-texture the wheat to look like rice, and re-texture bread to look like typical rice bread, and i could allow for making rice paper by using the "rice" in a crafting square to crush the rice and make rice flour, and crafting that with some water to make rice paper, just an idea. But you could also make all kinds of new items, like, instead of texturing the stone sword into a jutte, you could make it a stone katana, and i could make some juttes and ninjatos, also, if we replaced the ninjato with the katana, i could allow for realistic katana making, by making iron plates and turning that into katana blades, which i could mix with a katana handle which can be made with reads and an ink sack. If you want even more, I may be able to manage more blocks, such as new armor (maybe? I could try) Like original ninja suits, made by mixing black dye and leather armor, (as ninja suits were made from what the farmers/peasants had. (ninja armor may be able to handle some special function if i finish it, like running a script when a full suit is worn, making mobs have a harder time seeing you) And maybe (I'm really going a little insane with this) making black eggs, with glass, eggs, and an ink sack, making an egg projectile, but instead of doing very little damage and spawning in chickens, it makes a very strong mob blinding weapon. If you want any of these ideas, tweaking any of them, or adding any, please reply, not PM, as i most likely may not answer. If i don't reply in within a couple days, just PM me, as i may have lost were this forum post was. With the black egg idea, chickens have a purpose other than arrows and cakes. :tongue.gif: (oh, and btw make the bow and arrow a Yumi, they are very powerful bows that samurai archers would use to shoot armored enemy's in the eyes, as there heart and other body parts were covered, it was a very powerful and accurate bow. If you want to see what they look like, heres an image of one.
