When i copy the file and paste it in the minecraft texture pack kinda thing minecraft crashes! And now i can't play minecraft! WHY??!!
You haven't read all the instructions because there is no reason for you to copy the contents of the zip file at all. Go to the first post and pay close attention to the install portion of the op's post. You need to use the newest hd texture patcher.
I have the textures working, but not the grass. Cheers for any help or insight.
Wild Grass relies on a mod that is currently not yet updated to work with beta. Link to the thread for that is on the first post of this thread.

as soon as i open the hd texture pack patcher or something and i browse for the file and find it, it just goes to a log and then i have no clue what to do!
Go to the thread for MCPatcher (link in main thread) and post your error log there.

Yea So Great Pack I Got That I Just Don't Know How To Work The SKins
If you mean the alternate default player skins, there's specific instructions regarding that on the first post.

Can you make so i can download only the tools ( Pickaxe, Axe, Sword, hoe) thanks in advance and please reply when its ready ^^
Not possible without you also getting the rest of the items. They're all on the same sprite sheet. Just manually copy and paste them in a decent graphics editor from items.png in the GUI folder.

Also are you taking request for custom tile textures?
I do alternate resource requests so long as they fit the "realistic" theme and don't get too specific in regards to another theme. So while the dragon skulls with the glowing red eyesockets might be a bit too specific and have issues with tiling, I'll certainly take the idea of providing resources for a more gory and visceral-look for the Nether stone and Soul sand.
If I didn't answer your post, it was because it was either answered by another forum member or has already been answered multiple times in the thread. And to all those voicing their support, you have my thanks as well!

I really enjoy playing minecraft with your texture pack Misa and I was wondering if I could request two alternate textures? First one would be another iron door, one that would look more like a fortified door (with no door handle since we can't open them directly) rather than a prison door. The second one, would be another diamond block, one that would look more pristine for decoration.
Misa

I see dragons over all open ended, not that because one person made dragons the center of their work that no one else can use dragons. but don't get me wrong I'm not questioning your reasons for not wanting to ""cross theme". seeing as I can barely even cut 'n paste images I feel I must respect those who can actualy do any orignal work. anyways I think I can at least cut 'n paste and slightly modify some other tiles to look mostly the way I want.

Thanks, but too bad all I can offer is a simple thanks.
also I don't' know where the "crystalized dragon souls" came from, as I read over, it just sounds.... stupid =/

No, DropBox just can't handle your epicness, ~snip~ WE'RE ALL DOOMED FROM YOUR EPICNESS!
Cool pack! All my friends have seen it and loved it. I linked them to the forum post for the download so you get the pretty download counts instead of e-mailing it to them.
Yo, I need some help. I really want to download the terrain part of this pack, but not the mobs (because they freak the **** out of me), so how would I go about doing that?

You can unzip the whole texture pack, open up the "mob" folder, remove and/or replace any of the mob textures you don't like, then re-zip the whole pack and install normally with Xau's HD fix. If the game doesn't find a custom mob texture in that folder, then it'll just use the default textures.
Cheers Misa, since i have just found a breath-taking texture pack, its awesome, the armours, that forest with the wild grass, your viking long house, and thats a japanese castle?... anyways, congratulations and keep the awesome work
Extremely well done. I'm very excited to see how this turns out in the future.
Unfortunately, with so many add-on mods, it's hard to keep the pack updated with them. That and with Minecraft in Beta, only on the day an update to this pack is released will it work perfectly.
Excellently done Misa.

Actually she keeps it up to date since its just textures. But it does rely on the McPatcher to be up to date with the current version of the game and thus suffers from it.
Lovely, lovely pack. The only thing that I dislike is the cobble, it looks like someone grounded up a bunch of stones into a compressed block; and the "brick" type cobble is too uniformly.
Might I suggest a medium sized grounded cobble stone?
So, I LOVE this addon. I've been using it for the last month and a half now, and can hardly stand to play without it. I only have ONE request.
Can you please make an alternate cobblestone/mossy cobblestone. The stone brick style. There are two reasons for this,
1) While I really like your cobblestone, I often wish it was brickish.
2) I don't like your mossy cobblestone - it looks like you took a green spraypaint tool and sploched the middle of the cobblestone. Seeing as mossy is one of the more rare elements in the game, it is much more fun if it actually looks nice mixed in with the cobblestone in buildings.
Anyway, great pack I love it. Looking forward to a wildgrass update : /
indeed a great texture pack :smile.gif:
Misa already provides many alternative textures (e.g. cobblestone, mossy cobblestone, glass). Just look at the lower half of the terrain.png
Yeah, i hope the wildgrass mod gets updatet to beta soon. One more thing that's missing for more immersion would be rain and snowfall!
Wow, that is cool. However, even in those alternates, the mossy cobblestone is still horribly ugly : /. It just doesn't look mossy. It looks green splochs on cobblestone : (. And actually, I'd ideally like a somewhat less round version of the stone brick thing.

Well nothing is perfect in life sadly :-P Best thing for you to do is to make the textures you want since its so specific. Or you could find a cobblestone or whatever texture your looking for from somewhere else and cut/paste it into this one for your personal use. I actually like the cobblestone the way it is. The mossy could use some work but thats nothing I haven't remedied already on my own.
but thats nothing I haven't remedied already on my own.
care to share? I don't have much of an issue with the normal cobble, I would prefer a nice brick, not not needed.
A better mossy is soooo needed lol. Anyways, yea, I'm interested. The problem with finding others is that 64 (while being the best looking imo, especially on my 27" monitor) is the least often used. It seems many like the 128 or the 32 much more. 128 is overkill to me 99% of the time.

Read the installation notes. That's not how you make it work.
