I have a question. Are those REAL pictures of animals used for the mob skins?
Looks a heck of a lot like it to me. Great job! :3
Some of my textures make use of photographic resources, which I heavily edit, reshape shape and paint over.

your sheep have no head if you use randomobs... :S
Er... Yes they do. You might just have a mod that alters the same files randomobs uses for sheep and it's causing a conflict. If anything. My pack's sheep skins are perfectly fine.

Am I the only one who don't like the cobblestone ?
Nope. I've come to find it pretty crappy-looking myself. That's why I've redone it and mossy cobblestone from scratch for next patch. Be sure to check the patch notes on the main page. I'll be periodically updating them as I complete work on the pack for the next major update.

Hello Misa, just to know if you also thought of making textures for the weapons of the balkon's weaponmod also ?
Addressed a million times. Try reading the FAQ and my recent post on Modloader.
WOW! I have been searching for a great texture pack ever since I began playing Minecraft. I must have tried over a hundred packs up to this point, settling on a few that just never seemed complete. Your texture pack has solved this issue for good. Its highly detailed from the dirt down to the feather, I love the grass, the trees, the stone. AWESOME man!! You're a badass.. :laugh.gif: x's a million!!!
Can't wait to see what your next revision can add to an already superb work of art!!
Could we get an alternative terrain.png with an actual pumpkin, and not a watermelon? Not saying I don't like melons, but I want a pumpkin on my head, not a watermelon! D: I'll check back in the morning (9-10 AM CST)
Tip 1 - Look around inside the pack. My pack already includes an ALTERNATES.png which has all kinds of replacement tiles you can copy and paste in any graphics editor that supports transparency. This includes pumpkin art.
Tip 2 - Always read the patch notes. You'll notice why the pumpkins are currently melons, and how they'll be going back to pumpkins next patch. (And likely forever again since melons are being introduced alongside pumpkins in the Adventure Update.)

Any chance of a picture of your adjusted redstone wire Misa? I've liked your dashed wire for so long it would be nice to see if it changes much. :smile.gif:
If not I look forward to 1.8 update.
You've nothing to worry about. The change only affects the piles of redstone dust in your inventory. the current icon was made to reflect the old look of redstone, back when it actually had more color to it. The new one better reflects the look of the currently-placed redstone wire. The actually placed redstone wire is completely unaltered.
Damn. Makes me wanna wait for 1.8. Except I may not update my MC to 1.8 sooner after release, I'll be just going for the new textures. lol
Any chance we could see a screenie of the new cobblestone? I see no problems with the current version, but I wanna see what kind of "improvement" you've made. :3
You need to replace Randomobs' properties file with Misa's to fix the white Mob problem. Check her instructions in installing Randomobs in the first page.
The door is cool but I liked the default cobblestone better :/
I'm thinking that's more the innate human tendency to fear change or anything out of the usual routine talking. If this had been there from the start, you'd probably say the current default texture was terrible if I just now introduced it. Compared side-by-side right off the bat though there is a clear difference in quality of the work.
The old one is horribly muddy, sloppy and only works well as a floor texture. As a wall texture it's horribly unrealistic (Rocks do not easily stack vertically like that, nor would they often be that smooth on a wall.). It also does not tile well at all with any of my renditions of mossy cobblestone. This is extremely important as it will be unavoidable and possibly very prevalent in 1.8 with NPC houses. Another problem with the old texture is you got a diagonal pinstripe pattern from a distance due to bad tiling. The old tiling method I used greatly decreased visual variance as well, many rocks in the old tile were on the same texture twice (Yuck!). The tiling on this is much more evenly distributed with more varied detail.
As far as the decision to switch from fuzzy moss patches to a more vine-covered look goes, it just blends together much more organically. Sure the blocks are still visibly discernable as blocky-shaped, but they look less artificial and tile very well. Also I feel as a block, the vines have more decorative potential than moss ever did. Back when I first made the pack I had only used Mossy Cobblestone as a source of green building material. But this was before colored cloth blocks and harvestable leaf blocks. Now vine-covered cobblestone can be used for things like gardens and foundations to give them a more stylish look.
Of course if you really wanna use the current cobblestone texture, it'll as always be added to ALTERNATES.png for easy reversion.

Yea I guess you're right about the cobblestone and after reading this I did like it a little better, but it's a little messy to me and the fuzzy moss compared to the vines don't really have a big cosmetic difference so making cobblestone a little neater and make a bit brick-like (but try to keep the general cobblestone-like texture) would be pretty nice. Make the vines more um, VINE-ish because many people could probably agree with me that there isn't much of a difference between the new mossy cobblestone and the old one besides the new cobblestone texture. Cobblestone is a bit dark so make it a little bit higher in contrast.
These are only suggestions and I will still use your texture pack no matter what because it's the best one out there. These suggestions are ,imo, just little cosmetic changes that could make a big difference to your texture pack. Don't get me wrong these new and old textures are beautiful but I just want you to hear my opinion. If you don't agree, its fine. I'm just stating a few suggestions.

Any chance you could support "Balkon's Weapon Mod" with your awesome item textures? I use your texture pack and his mod. Although it is a fantastic mod content wise, aesthetically, your textures make his weapons look horrible. Please, look into this, if you have time. :smile.gif:
Well this texture pack made my game lag, and i dont have an old computer or a laptop, i have a pretty decent one, this never happens to me in most texture packs, anyone got any ideas on what i should do? maybe update my drivers? thats what i am gonna do right now but if it doesnt work, please give me solutions? thanks
There sure is! Yourself. Look at the Alternates file that is included.

Dropping this here.

Wow. Just wow. Now I know why it's an "improvement".
Any chance for a "sneak peek" or "test" version? lol :tongue.gif:
