Thank you very much for this texture pack. I made sure to download this off MU just to ensure you get a little support.
BTW I loved this step "2. Click here to download the latest version of MCPatcher. (How do people keep ****ing this step up?)"
That made my day reading that last line.

Small question is there a tool to easily switch textures from other packs? I love your pack but I was hoping to replace a few items such as wheat, seeds, and glowstone from Albion's pack.
I haven't been playing much lately, but just started a new world to try out all the new stuff in 1.6.6. I had been using this pack before and wanted the latest version. I just tried it out, and it's as gorgeous as ever, but what really made my day was the creeper sheets on my bed. This is the best looking pack I've seen, keep up the great work Misa!
This Thursday's update sounds like it'll be pretty small with not much of an impact. I've been working on some of the older textures a bit though to keep this update still somewhat worthwhile for things other than piston support. One idea that was brought up to me that I've had swimming in my head for awhile was making the single chests more like a chest of drawers. This would add variety without drastically altering the way things look from one texture pack to the next. In doing so though I realized that they would make great components for desks, but without a desk middle this idea was worthless, so I decided to revamp a a bit of both the chests and the workbench.
The double-chest will still look the same as always with just one minor addition. The top of the chests is now the workbench top. These changes shouldn't change the look of things you already have made on your maps. It will however add more aesthetic use to chests and workbenches. To distinguish the workbench top from new chest top while still having them blend, I've made the workbenches resemble the vanilla look a bit more by giving them a topper. Here's a bit of a preview:
You can see that the chests and workbenches blend together quite well now. and there are more possibilities for things like dressers and desks. For those who are original Misa purists, as always you'll be able to find the old textures in the ALTERNATES.png file.

:ohmy.gif: I can't wait to see what the pistons and sticky pistons textures look like.
Bet there going to look great
Just another small preview. This isn't an actual 3D model or anything, this is just a lame perspective trick done in my graphics editor by hand to get a general feel for how they'll look. So excuse its appearance if it looks a bit off. Probably still doesn't capture the detail of the visible redstone components, sticky piston goo, or show off the bottom texture, but this is a small preview afterall.
From my in-game approximation-replacement tests, it'll look much better in the actual game.
I'll have to take a look at the new chest/bench textures when they're released.
May or may not stick with old ones.
Question 1 (no rush as 1.7 isn't out yet) - Is it possible to cut and paste the desired textures from the new texture image into the last packs texture image (in the same way as replacing for alternates) without having to completly run MCPatcher again? (an advanced way to do things with no tech support, as there is also still the easy way, too) I don't know what I was thinking. too much is updated to just replace one or two files. actually, I wasn't thinking. sorry for such a stupid question (and a waste of your time to read it).
Question 2 (I've asked before, but haven't seen even a hint to it) - can you include different alternate cloud pattern images to choose from? I'm not an artist at all and my attempts aren't very realistic. I have been able to experament and have figured a couple things out. final image must be the same size. cloud blocks are 2X2, in a scaled 1X1 placement. color doesn't matter (i don't think. didn't experament much with that). 0X0 starts where player loads game from, clouds travel along x axis (right to left).
Was hoping to catch the update before I went to bed. It's 6am here now though. Must sleep. I'll take care of things when I wake up. Most of the work is already done, I'm guessing mostly I'll just need to do a quick test and a run-through of all the default art files to ensure I've missed nothing, then upload. See ya then.
On a related note, I wonder how many morons will be making posts about how I need to update while I'm in bed and have clearly already acknowledged the need to update ahead of time.
Hey, looks like I beat 'em to it this time. and Running on 3 hours of sleep. :tongue.gif:
Anyway yeah, pack's been updated. Thread has too with new screenshots. I'm hoping Randomobs will become more popular when it gets updated. I'll probably have to release a second update when WildGrass is updated.
Looks great as always. I think you might have uploaded the wrong items.png though. The shears a missing from the current version. (Downloaded from the primary source)

Nope. Try selecting the correct version of the pack in-game. (misa22.zip) Shears are definitely included in all three mirrors.

Ahha! There are two different copies of item.png packed. One copy is located in \item and one in \gui. I was looking at the raw pack on my lunch break at work out of curiousity. The only difference between the two different items.png files I can see is the one in \item doesn't have the shears and the one in \gui does. Naturally, I looked at the one in \item and wasn't aware there was one in \gui.
Anyhow, my bad, sorry about that. Love the work you do!

This is a really nice texture pack, but the only thing that bothers me is the GUI aiming cursor, its uneven when using the "normal" GUI settings in the option menu. You can see this below in the image file.

This is not an issue with my texture pack but in the way either Minecraft or MCPatcher scales the crosshair. You can however overcompensate a few pixels to get it to look right on the normal scale. You'll need to edit icons.png in the gui folder in my pack. Graphics editor with transparency is required.
Hey, :biggrin.gif: i decided to come back and look at the pack today :tongue.gif: and i saw your mobs :ohmy.gif: Howd you make them all have different skins O_o Thats soo coool. I think its a mod but i forgot the name =/.
(ps I looked through some pages for this answer and i didn't find any, so i asked)

By the way, I think this texture pack is awesome! I love it! Although I like the old pumpkins better.

I appreciate you getting the pack updated so fast, and I love the changes you've made to allow better furniture!
