Omg I patched everything and the pack doesn't replace the regular pack and all text are greyed out.
Greyed out items and text, pack doesn't replace the minecraft default pack.
Greyed out text on homescreen
They have released a new version of the patcher. If you are using the newest version and still having problems, I would suggest posting on the patcher thread. Misa doesn't support tech issues like this since it isn't pack related. I just installed the new patch and everything is working fine.
I love this texture pack, don't really like the new font to be honest but meh.
Also, does anyone have framerate issues when using this pack? I know its more high def than the default pack but still......be nice to use it with no lag......
Misa has the old font in the zip file under the font folder. Just copy the old font into the primary font folder and update your minecraft texture folder with the new zip file. Works like a charm. :smile.gif:
Few responses here. Dunno why. (If you have an actual question or tech support issue, it's much easier to actually reach me and get immediate answers if you go to my tinychat.) This is just way too much stuff to filter through anymore, and most of it doesn't seem to warrant a response. So here goes.

Could somebody post the download link for the 1.5 version?
Unnecessary. The current version of my pack works perfectly fine with 1.5. I'd rather outdated bits of my work not be put up for download for version control. It's a lot harder in my tech support chat when I'm dealing with people who have downloaded versions of the pack I no longer provide support for. Changes to texture packs are mostly additive, so they'll almost always work with previous versions. Just ensure you're using the appropriate older version of MCPatcher for your older version of Minecraft.

I have small bug on the bowl...
That's a problem with MCPatcher, not my pack. Take it up on that thread. Also you might not want to put up screen-shots that broadcast the fact you're using an unlicensed copy on the official Minecraft forums.

Minecraft just have a problem with making 2D textures 3D "model" in higher resolutions.
See Above.

Minor gripe. The top-right corner of the map is more rounded than the other corners. As a result, if you fully explore a map, the filled in map falls off the map paper a little bit. The left-side corners are a bit close too, but the top right is the only one where the map actually extends beyond the paper.
I noticed this shortly after release of the pack, but it was late, and I didn't feel it was too big of an issue so I didn't bother with a quick fix release. (Mojang had already gone crazy with "quick-fix" patches, didn't want to add to confusion.) Anyway, I'll probably redo the map art a little bit. I feel this current one was kinda rushed anyway for the sake of being all up to date so I could get some sleep.

Thanks for the video.

No idea what you're talking about, sorry.

Made this building a while ago and the texturepack fits so well to it!
Looks great! A lot like something I might have on my main world.

Tinychat! Use it! Live support > delayed forum responses. Also it's kinda hard to figure out this problem with a lengthy back and forth over the course of several days. Need live interaction for this kinda thing. My suggestion would be to delete everything in your .minecraft folder aside from saves, run Minecraft, let it patch, Run the LATEST MCPatcher, patch, then redownload my pack into your texturepacks folder, run the game, and finally select the pack in-game under the mods and texture packs menu. If that doesn't work, I'd update java and video drivers, then repeat all the above steps.

Another pair of issues that would've been better off being posted on my Tinychat. As a general response to those who do not like the new font or watermelons instead of pumpkins, here's several things to take note of:
1. Did you read the changelog?
2. Did you read the part in the changelog about how I've included the old font in the font/oldfont directory?
3. Did you read the part in the changelog about how I've included the old pumpkins in ALTERNATES.png?
4. The font has received more positive feedback than negative when I've surveyed people in my tinychat regarding it. (content people are just less vocal on forums.) So I see no reason to change the default back.
5. The font is also staying as the standard as I feel it better fits the theme of my pack. The space-aged block font just doesn't look right to me on signs on something that's clearly inspired by older times.
6. The font was chosen and adapted very carefully to ensure that it was still extremely readable while being given a more hand-made quality.
As far as lag goes, this is generally only an issue with people who are on a computer (usually a laptop) with no proper video card. If you're in that situation, there's not much you can do aside from upgrade. If you do have a proper video card though, there's a few things you can do to fix performance issues with HD texture packs for Minecraft:
1. Update your video card drivers.
2. Update Java.
3. Increase your memory allocation for Minecraft. (See Google)
4. If you're on an NVidia card (Especially on a laptop) Go into the video properties and ensure Minecraft (javaw.exe) is running on the video card and not through the onboard video.

Stone tools are hard to distinguish in chests.
This is a long-standing issue, and there doesn't seem to be any easy fix for it. Anytime I've tried to lighten or darken the slots or the tools themselves, then I get people complaining about how some of the stone tools blend in with the player's inventory or the hotbar, or whatever. As it is, the current state is probably the most reasonable compromise without degrading the quality of said weapons. I'll review it once more though, and we'll see if I can come up with a better solution by next patch.
If you had an important question that requires a response and I missed it, try the Tinychat instead. I don't hang out around the forums often.
Also you might not want to put up screen-shots that broadcast the fact you're using an unlicensed copy on the official Minecraft forums. :tongue.gif:
The fact?
A lot of people have been falsely getting this error even though they have the paid version.
That's not broadcasting any fact, just broadcasting Notch's fail at update testing.

Or maybe he hides his real username as I do.
At this point, I don't think I care enough for people to not stalk me and ask 800 questions online. I haven't been on an official server in months.
Yep, changing it to my real Minecrat name, lol
Seriously, though, I know Notch gets all excited about these updates, but if it takes 2 months to put out a safe bug-free update, so be it. I'm sick of this "1.6 released! Here's 80 more bugs to worry about". =/
The Texture Pack is not working with the newest Minecraft version 1.6.6 . It loads but after the Mojang screen it loads the background with no GUI. It just freezes up.
That is not an error specific to this or any other texture pack. The HD patcher has not been updated. You can't use the HD patcher make for 1.16_05 with 1.16_06, same as with any other mod. Wait for it to get updated and don't bother texture pack artists about it they can't do anything
Just signed up to the forums to say thanks for the awesome texture pack & keeping it updated to support the new 1.6 features :smile.gif: Found it by accident through a Machinima Youtube vid
The only minor quibble I have though is that I can't make a good looking stone wall/house with this. I find it pretty bland to look at and stone slabs are too dark when compared to the original textures so its hard to be creative when everything looks so samey. Perhaps if they along with the cobblestones (which give me a bit of a headache from too much texture) were more accurately portrayed with the original it wouldn't be an issue. For now I've moved on to the Steampunk texture pack whilst I decide which is better
Its a shame because I love everything else but these 2 textures play a major role in building. I could be in a minority as some other people may like these textures. I wouldn't mind seeing some examples though of how to pull off a good looking house made primarily from stone slabs, stones & cobblestones with the Misa textures
Would you rather he just released 1.6 and left the bugs in it until next month?
Jeeze, some people really are never satisfied. Complain if he doesn't update often enough, complain if he updates too much... at least people can't call him "lazy" when he takes his upcoming summer vacation.

I love the 1.5_01 version a lot! There are some changes I noticed when I was looking at the new photos and I bet I'll love this version too! The portal looks better too! Can't wait to download it!!! :biggrin.gif:
