First of all, this texture pack is amazing and I appreciate all the obvious work put into it, and I found installation quite successful. My game plays pleasantly and there is certainly an improvement with this pack, its just wonderful. That being said, has anyone else noticed that Netherack has been changed to look like what seems to be either a pile of sausages or perhaps the gutted organs of several human beings? While I found it humorous, my Nether now looks like a meat locker.
Dude I totally agree, I can't imagine playing without Misa's pack it changes the game experience for the better, but this new netherack is so gross, every time I got to the nether I want to puke.

No, no one else has noticed
The intestines nettherrock looks best with the GLSL shaders: it wriggles and pulsates a bit.
But for people who don't like it, look in the alternatives file. The old version is still there, and you can use it to replace the intestines in terrain.png
Thanks, it was grossing me out so much I immediately ran back to portal.
1) Is there any way we can get an alternate armor appearance for the leather armor? Something more like lorica, studded leather or even just cuirbouille?
2) Are you accepting donations, and if so how can I make one? I've been a big fan of your work since I discovered it and without you, my Minecraft wouldn't look nearly so wonderful!

Your texturepack is some of the best! Not too showy but still really detailed.
However encountered a problem today, the April-Fools-Content-Cancellation patch made the current texturepack unusable - crashes unless I remove the texturepack...Please fix it.
Love the texture pack, but wolfs aren't cute enough, they look realistic but not in a good way, would love if you made it a bit more cartoonish looking.

Just re-run the HD texture fix patcher and reinstall the texture pack. Worked for me.

hey Misa.. I'm trying to add Alree's waving water shader to your combo(with his help) and possibly his lava glow shader as well if it can work out somehow..think they would be excellent additions. I'll post it if/when it gets figured out.
Love this pack. No wonder people strongly recommend it.
Two suggestions, however.
1. Make glowstone texture with darker particle edges, so it looks more like gloving seeds, than a dirty glass panel.
2. Could you please make alternate cobble-brick-stone (tile #2) less fluffy? Please... It's mossy version looks okay, but "clean" one isn't quite fitting, IMO.
The pack generally works fine, but when opening chests/furnaces/inventory/crafting bench, the game lags badly for a second or two, and the next time I open something it simply blackscreens and crashes.
Yes, I have followed the installation instructions; I redownloaded the bin folder, I have NO other mods running (besides the latest version of MCpatcher).
Anyone know what gives? A workaround perhaps? for anyone with a helpful answer.
However, after I played once after logging in, Minecraft started crashing after the Mojang screen.
I'd be reporting this to you in your TinyChat, but TinyChat makes my Flash wig out, so..yeah. If you have another way of helping me out, let me know please.
Hey Misa!! Still loving this pack. Best one hands down!
I noticed Wildgrass switched over to a closer-to-full modloader mod, what with separate textures for all the different grass textures.
I got bored, so I made all the individual ones for people who want to use it. Here's the link: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/22463950/wildGrass.rar
It's just all the individual textures slipt split (I swear I can spell >.<) up with the proper names and whatnot.
If you'd rather make it yourself or have me remove this for some reason, feel free to yell at me XD
Otherwise, enjoy!!
EDIT: I added a pic for proof, in case you don't believe me =D
Hmm, now the blackscreening happens randomly it seems :/
They all have one common sign though, right before it happens my games gets really laggy for a few seconds.
Sounds like a memory overflow error (I think that's the right terminology) pertaining to Java. Two ways you can mitigate this:
1) If you are using a 64-bit version of Windows 7: Launch Internet Explorer (64-bit) from Programs and go to http://www.java.com and download the 64-bit version of Java. If you are running 32-bit Java in 64-bit Windows, crashes are an inevitable matter of time.
2) If you're not using 64-bit Win7 and/or the previous solution doesn't eliminate the crashes: Increase the size of your Java heap. It's an easy enough process and it's been explained in this subforum better than I'm able to do so. If anyone has the link handy, please feel free to post it, I can't seem to find it at the moment.

greetings, love your work.
Just one really small, really minor issue: Could you fix the ÖÄÜ in your font? They really look ugly at the moment and don't fit the other letters..
That first solution seems to have done the trick. Played for about 15 minutes, and had no hang-ups of any sort. So, for you!
Thanks! Glad I could help - I had been suffering from the same problem, and if not for that advice I might have become frustrated and given up on Minecraft weeks ago.

Curse Premiumthat's an odd one
that looks like a rendering error on the animation.. try changing your A-A settings in the video options
Anti-Aliasing.
Although, common abbreviation is "AA", not "A-A"...
