I tried playing Minecraft on my computer and Misas181 texture pack worked perfectly fine. No lag whatsoever but when I try playing it on my laptop, it lags. Is it possible to use the video card on this computer and give it to my laptop so I can play on my laptop instead?
Edit: My laptop is a Samsung R530
probably not...most likely not. most pc video cards are way to big to fit in a laptop, and usually aren't compatible anyway.
Thanks so much for this pack. It's one of a few I rotate back to over and over. The only problem I've really had so far with this texture pack is that my seven-year-old always wants me to put the Rezcraft texture pack back on whenever he plays after I've installed this one. I'm pretty sure that's nothing you can fix. :smile.gif:

I will be honest here, i didn't do the deleting your bin part, because i don't want to lose my mo'creature mod.... :/
So if thats the only fix, i guess ill have to reinstall mo creatures :/

as i said in a earlier post
go into the misas texture pack file after you download it and delete the font file
then theres no text problem at all :biggrin.gif:
Shaders have been updated (See main thread). Minor changes to the shader maps, and combination of several features including:
-Non-reflective windows.
-Parallax, speculars and all that good stuff needed for my shader maps.
-Very mild bloom with mild gamma correction. (Should address issues with the pack seeming too dark)
-Very mild world curvature.
-AA
-Static Distant DoF.
-Waving Leaves, Flowers, Wheat, and Wild Grass.
-Squirming Soul Sand and Netherrack.
DISCLAIMER: I will slap you silly if you start asking around here or my chat room about mod compatibility of any of these mods and the troublesome modloader-based mods. I'm suggesting these based upon what I use, not what I provide full-time support for the installation thereof. If you can't figure it out, don't ask me. These aren't my mods.
Thanks - that's the sort of thing I was looking for (I notice Misa also had a compatible file in there, I'll cut-and-paste my favorites!
I guess the only thing I'm uncertain on is how to change the resolution of a picture or texture to be compatible with the resolution I'm using. Say, for instance, I found an image of a painting I like somewhere online... how do I tell what resolution it's currently in, and how do I change it to the proper resolution needed? Is it merely a matter of resizing the square image to be 64x64 pixels (for a 1-box picture) or the proper mutliple for larger artworks? If so, then I can basically customize my "art gallery" to my own tastes with my favorite works from classical and modern artists.

You don't care about rezolution of a file until you want to print it or in other way present outside of the compiuter use.
All you want to know for putting your lovely art ingame is the dimensions of the image in pixels.
Whatever you'll find online would likely be SUPER LARGE for a tiny sandbox such as Minecraft :smile.gif:
Get an image editor such as GIMP - it even have a measuring tool - and load the ingame texture that contain all the art. Save it as GIMP native format - the .xcf file.
Cut through it in necessary places, creating a transparent "windows" instead of pictures.
Then add your target art as layers to your workplace and shift them below the texture.
Resize, crop and and shuffle your art around to fit your needs.
Then export the result as .png image and add it to the game.
Using Mo'creatures and the text is ****ed up. I think, very sadly, that Misas HD textures and Mo'creatures aren't compatible to each other. Very sad as they were before!
It's HD font and Modloader...
fonts...bah...I have the dumb >.>
and I use mo' creatures with misa's pack... and use it with up to 256x packs..
hmm, don't know why but the Shader seems to make my game crash when i try to load a level...
clean .jar and everything, everything else is up to date, and the regular shader works fine.
am i doing something wrong?
it worked before the newer update... so... idk what the problem is... perhaps it's just that my comp. just can't handle the awesomeness....
When using this pack my game lags unless the debug console (F3) is open? Any suggestions on what i'm doing wrong? I followed the directions to the word, however, there are only 6 boxes checked in MCPatcher the Custom Portal one is greyed out. But yeah as soon as I hit F3 my FPS returns to normal... so confused
Anyone know how to do a manual installation or such for this texture pack without using McPatcher?I love this texture pack but I use a couple of mod's so now McPatcher wont work with my Minecraft.jar.
it should work no matter what mods you have installed. the only thing that have issues as far as I have seen is hd fonts and modloader. easy fix to that is to delete the fonts folder prior to installing. ffor any hd pack you have to use the patcher, no way around it until notch gives us support in game
This texture pack,is AMAZING.
I got an account just to tell you this.
Congrats. 10 out of 5 (BTW Conglaturations, this is my first forum post... on any forum site...)

Mods I suggest to accompany this (aside from the GLSL shader mod, of course) would be:
Dynamic Lights - http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=1032&t=199815#p2885365
Wild Grass - http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?t=100771&f=25#p1501164
Better Grass - http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=55700&start=3060#p3003178

Congrats. 10
Just gonna join the chorus here and say AWESOME !
I fell in love with Minecrafts original blocky aesthetic, but this texture pack really makes the world come alive.
Seriously, Notch needs to hire Misa.
/bows to awesome art skillz
