There was a recent update, and misas texturepack dissapeared. I tried installing it again, but it always brings up a black scree. I used the patcher and unchecked custom water and lava, and custom portals, yet it still gave me the black screen. Can someone help me?
This is an excellent pack. The only thing I changed was the water (too green for my taste).
Please consider a 128x128 and 256x256 version in the future. All 3 may be much to ask for (personally I would like a 256) just a though cause these textures fit the game very well.
do you run ay other mods? if so re-download them and instal everything again. That fixed my problems.
when al esle fails, even though you have already done it, delete your minecraft bin, download a new patcher, dl the texture pack again, and install everything again.
something could be corrupted, all new stuff could do it :smile.gif:

I tried the removing thing, deleted .minecraft folder, reinstalled without grasscolor.png, so now theres the original one, but when i join to a server i get Minecraft crashed log. =(
You are working from Misa's gray scale terrain texture though. Changing the foliage and/or grass color files depends solely on how it will change a gray scale texture (which I think handles thing in reverse of what you would normally think).
If you add more color to the grass color file, I think it gray's it out more. Try lightening it up more (more transparent?). I know another packt hat uses really varying blotches and colors that standout more (not brighter) from the areas around them so he can get a more dark, varying terrain.
*EDIT - btw...deleting and using the default will also make things more grey and less varying biomes do to the defaults being dull in nature. They just use one blurry transition really.
Have you tried manually installing the one's from Misa directly into your minecraft.jar?

I do believe this is NOT working with the recent patch. 1.2_02
Either that or its the patcher that is messing it up. It'll install and 'work' but the UI goes away as well as the 'Esc' Menu and Inventory menu.
It does work. I use it everyday. The MC servers are doing minor fake patches or something thats causing the textures to not work. Backup your minecraft.jar file so that you don't have to reinstall every time it happens.
Mmm, not sure how you feel about using someone else's texture, but anyway, b4 the new patch I personalized a few tiles and I've noticed that you're trying to do something with your mossy cobble (I still don't like your new one :tongue.gif:) So feel free to use mine. If you don't want this up, tell me and i'll delete it when i see the reply. No credit needed btw.
