In general if there is missing content in any texture pack you should also be able to use any similar 1.8 texture pack and put the 1.7 texture pack on top of it in the Selected Resource Packs list. That way the similar pack will cover all content up to 1.8 and the 1.7 pack on top of it will override all the 1.7 content that it includes. So only the missing textures will show through from the similar 1.8 pack. That way you don't end up with plain default textures for some of the newer content and it won't be so jarring.
I love the animals so so much, but i have a problem. i have two pet wolves and they keep changing colors everytime i log in.. is there a way to fix this?? if not im going to have to take off all but one and then every wolf with be that color:(
The ad.fly link is the only link that's currently kept up to date with any stealth updates, since I no longer update the thread anymore. The mirrors are the last officially-posted update that's reflected on the main thread. But yeah, I don't know if MCPatcher's been fully updated for all the newest versions or not.
Here's the direct link for the last stealth update if adfly is causing problems.
Other suggestion would be to check the latest minecraft.jar of the version you're running, look for all instances of the tall grass texture files, copy their names, and rename any of my files in conflict.
So ironic to see someone getting so horribly worked up over this, considering I just posted a direct link to the pack yesterday and specifically mentioned posting it in case someone had trouble with the ad.fly, when in reality it probably didn't even help them and was just me throwing in a little extra to help. Moreso that the first post on this page is a direct response to that post.
Go back literally one page.
While you're at it, it might help to go back a few more pages and read some of my other posts a few to see what's happened with the pack too and how it's only been stealth updated to support some features of the latest versions which fans have taken to filling in with patches.
I shut down my firewall entirely so my pc didn't even start up with it on. and my browsers are up to date and so is the flashplayer.
I just said screw it, I don't feel like being harassed with some loop.
woulda' been cool. cuz like i previously stated, really enjoyed playin' this pack a long while ago.
but ive been through adfly too many times to count now and mediafire sucks... that's all there is to it. oh, and don't forget that mediafire popup bs. but anyways. someone made money off me for receiving nothing other than frustration.
Yet Mediafire seems to work perfectly fine for everyone else and has been for years. I myself was able to download it without any 'popup bá Žuá Žlá Žlá Žsá Žhá Žiá Žt' on three devices with completely different Operating systems, and had friends test it without any of the issues you're having. It sounds more like a dirty browser cache, or adware on your end is what actually sucks.
The filehost is fine and one of the few reliable ones I've used over the years and was the only one that wasn't crippled by the amount of traffic my pack generated at peak. Last time I tried switching the main host to dropbox it was down for an hour every 5 minutes it was up, due to exceeded bandwidth.
If you still want the pack after all of this and don't feel like figuring out what's wrong with your computer to get it, just PM me for a temporary dropbox link.

You really are too kind, Misa. All you've ever done is give and give. Just wanted to thank you again for all you have given us and for checking in on the forums from time to time to check on us. We love you Misa, thank you for making Minecraft enjoyable for so many people.
I know it was mentioned in either this thread or Les' patch thread some time back, but I'll be damned if I can find it, what do I need to do to get rid the "outdated resource pack" message in 1.9 and start using this pack in the latest version? I seem to remember it being a simple thing, but am baffled as to where I saw the information...
Endercat_soaring, use Misa's stealth updated base resource pack and Misa's Realistic Resource PATCH by Les on top of that for 1.8 and 1.9.
Works great.

The double height grass and tall grass are in Misa's pack, so you should see them, maybe try re-downloading the pack in case its corrupted?

Curse PremiumI've been through add fly like 7 times now and feel like my clicks are being mooched off of somehow.
But, I will return because I played with this pack when I really first got into minecraft.
So I've got to get this pack again somehow.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Is this on curse?
edit:
no... no... this is not on curse. this is hidden behind a broken ad.fly to media fire loop....

Curse PremiumThis pack seriously needs a legitimate download link cuz the ones listed including the mirror are crap.
Like where's a dropbox or something?
or even on curse.... that loop crap is aggravating. Ridiculous I can't get this pack. .... Lame indeed.

Curse Premiumthe media fire direct link is not working for me at all.
I went back to the page and went to download it.
on two different browsers. It did not work.
If you play league of legends I can give you like 5$ credit on there or something if you can send me a dropbox link or something like that.
all that media fire does is popup spam windows and refresh the page.

Uhm, simply click "Yes" in the question if you want to use this pack.
Or open the pack, edit pack.mcmeta with a text editor and change "pack_format": 1 to "pack_format": 2
