Seriously though: #4718. For all official intents and purposes the pack's been dead for a couple years now. I did recently post a minor stealth update with unfinished features, and various users have been keeping the pack alive with fan patches though. Just snoop around the last few pages of thread a bit, they're easy enough to find.
I Adore your work Misa but I gotta say, I think I like the patch Les put out for your pack when I comes to a lot of the new items. The colored glass is creative and a lot more pleasing if used correctly. The current one just looks default but more detailed. The tall grass is Prettier too, so I've been able to actually use it as decoration
Glad to see I've wasted my time trying to be nice and releasing hours of work that would've otherwise never seen the light of day.
Hey Misa, I love the work you did! Certainly not wasted time...that's why I deleted the duplicate textures from my patch I realize how much work went into you pack and only wish I could duplicate your skill. Glad you're still around to give feedback, and feel free to overwrite anything I've done
haha, don't get me wrong I still love your stuff. I mean when I lose interest in minecraft, the only thing that can get me back into it is getting your pack all set back up to make everything all pretty, It's unplayable otherwise. And I REALLY hope you get the time to finish fully updating the pack ( I love the idea of upping the shadows btw...)
Like countless other minecrafters, I'm hugely glad to see you back, Misa! I have played your pack exclusively since finding it a few years ago. I've looked at dozens of other packs, but none come close.
I think Les's extension is excellent work, as well. I stayed with an old release after the bountiful update because the contrast between Misa blocks and default blocks was too severe. Then Les stepped in to make 1.8 playable.
Now I'm playing Misa+ and Les's Misa+ extension. but with a small twist. For example, I like your prismarine block more than Les's, but I like Les's prismarine bricks better, so I built a for-my-use-only pack that combines the best elements of both.. If I had any artistic talent, I'd combine Les's sea lantern design with your animation style.
I hope you can find the time and the resources to continue updating your pack with 1.8 goodies and whatever comes next, but I also understand that real life comes first!
Edit: Forgot to say that I like Les's stained glass designs, but I think they should be used as accents, which means we need plain stained glass as well. My custom pack combines mostly Misa glass with a few Les designs.
Thanks for this nice Texture Pack. I'm a big fan of the Alpha 1.1.2_01 so is it possible to download the alpha 1.1.2_01 textures somwhere, Thanks
Heh, that's an unexpected request.
This is the earliest version of the pack when it was released for Alpha 1.2.0. It should (no guarantees) be backwards compatible with Alpha 1.1.2_01. It's provided as is (without support) and mostly for historical purposes (as I feel most of this work is obsolete and inferior to later improvements). Note that you'll absolutely need xau's old version of MCPatcher and will need to follow his old instructions to manually inject your minecraft.jar with the contents of this rar file and patch the client. There is no way to get this texture pack to work without MCPatcher as Alpha Minecraft did not support high resolution textures natively--let alone have a texture pack feature.
Official updates were announced as now being dead on May 1st. Scroll back a couple pages to read any postings I made around there to know what's up. At this point I've not touched Minecraft since I posted that stealth update, MCPatcher's not been updated since before then, and I've not seriously sat down and played Minecraft in at least a year or so. 5 years of playing/modding Minecraft was a good long run, and now it's probably time for me to move onto newer and better games--That is, it might be if I had any real free time to get all that into them anymore.
Guys does anyon know how to fix a bug that when i patch it with MC edit, and i start minign stone blocks, instead of the regular stone cracking the stone darkens in color and then breaks. Help???
Great texture pack! This and Ovo's original were actually the inspiration we needed to create a texture pack in the first place. Sorry to see it end, but fully understandable considering the amount of work required!
I like your recourse pack in all, but i would REALY REALY like it if you would update it to minecraf 1.8/1.9 because I cannot find any good recourse packs like this. and i would love for you to make all blocks in 1.8/1.9 recreated in this recourse pack. If you are reading this Misa, thank you for reading.

Where's 1.7.2 - 1.7.10 and 1.8 - 1.8.8 versions?

Curse PremiumStill glad to see that you're still around Misa, even though you're not working on this pack. I hope you're doing well.

It was just my opinion on those couple things. ;D

The stealth update I posted included both of those.

This file may not be redistributed and falls under the terms of use that the current texture pack does (see main post).
Love this pack. been using it for a few months.
