I think we should stop this now.
We've gotten our point across to not assume somebody has quit working on their textures when we don't know what's going on in their lives, but I don't think Misa would be best pleased to come back to a big chunk of discussion such as this.
Quick question for you all:
When I play Minecraft while using this texture pack, I always get a non-responsive Minecraft window while the actual game is loading.
The game doesn't respond for maybe a minute or two, and then functions normally.
Does this happen with anybody else?

Yup.
Every time. Having a high end computer doesn't help. I theorize that its just cause Mcpatcher is making Minecraft process several magnitudes more data than normally expected. In my experience that is pretty standard with invasive mods.

Gotcha.
Thank you!
My computer is pretty top-o-the-line (for a laptop, anyway).
I found that when I added your patch (which I really like, by the way), the non-responsive time increased a bit.
It's not a problem, as I'm not so impatient that I can't wait for a minute while Minecraft boots, I was just wondering if others experienced the same thing.

LOL .... try using a lot of mods. The more mods you add the longer the load time.

I generally only use a couple of mods.
Rei's Minimap is absolutely essential (and there's a beta out for 1.7.2 YAY!) and I usually use Durability101, but it hasn't been updated since 1.6.2, so at the moment I'm only using one actual mod.
Any suggestions for anything else (basic stuff; redstone circuitry and anything terribly complicated is a bit beyond how much thought I want to put into a game )

Been a while since I looked in, sorry to hear Misa is currently on the missing list. Hope she is doing well and that things work out for her, as I love her work. I do have to tell you pscof42 that Misa might accept your building a temp patch for her work, but she will likely refuse to take any of your work as her own. I have offered some of mine and she has turned it down saying she prefers to keep all work in the pack hers alone.
Looking forward to the time when Misa finds time to come back, though if she decides not to, then I wish her well.
OK, here's your update since you can't be bothered to read (or to get an adult to read) the last few pages of this thread:
Misa is MIA since mid-September 2013 when she said she was moving. No contact with the community since then. No one knows if she is coming back and therefore there is no way to know if her texture pack will ever be officially updated again. Life marches on.
Community member pscof42 has graciously created an add-on that patches in content for the 1.7.x update (Misa disappeared around 1.6.4) that works as a nice placeholder until/if Misa ever comes back. I won't spoon feed you the link. It's a couple of pages back.

Yeah. I just want to give her the option. It would be an honor for sure, but I would understand completely if she declined.
Hey guys, made an account after lurking this thread to ask if anyone thinks there might be a Hexxit version of this pack in the works someone might be making? The custom mobs and items not covered by the Misa pack tend to clash with the rest that are so it'd be nice to have it fully compatible.

I quit using REI's as a streamer its not a good thing to expose the server ip when you are streaming. there is no reliable way to cover it up. I use vixel now and both of the maps are forks of Zans minimap anyway and extremely simular
FYI, the patch I've worked on for this has been updated with a better Dark Oak texture. CTM is still on standby while I decide how to handle it (considering Misa's usage restrictions).
I've been using Misa's for almost 2 years now. I've tried many other texture packs, but ALWAYS come back to Misa's.... I hope she comes back soon. I would say I hope she lets someone carry on her work, but no one could fill her shoes IMHO. Hope things work out soon Misa. We miss you.
Please make a updated version for Minecraft 1.7.4!!! Why everybody stops now making new texture packs!? What happened? I miss Minecraft, please bring it back! This is a disaster, this community gets smaller or what!? Please don't stop your work!
You might want to read the last couple of months of posts in this thread. Misa has gone missing for almost six months now and no one knows if she is coming back.
I'm reaching the point where I really could care less about the texture pack. I just wish someone could tell us she's alright.Well I'm hoping she's got a new job creating great computer art and is just too busy. That or her computer is shot. Because my mind's starting to wander into the WTF has happened to Misa territory, and it's unsettling.Misa please post your alright or have someone else do it for you.
I'm very sad to hear that apparently Misa has vanished. I hope she's doing OK and she's just gotten busy lately. (I've always been meaning to set up a paypal account to donate money to her, and I still haven't. I feel bad about that.)
I've been Minecrafting for about a year and a half, and this is the only texture pack I've ever used. I just updated this morning, but if I'd known this pack was defunct I would have stuck with 1.6.2 for as long as I could.
But on a technical note, when I tried running the latest version of this pack with Minecraft 1.7.4, everything seemed to work except the water was grey. I found that strange, that the texture was there but the colour wasn't. That was the only thing I found to be out of sorts.

You didn't install MCPatcher ( http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1496369-14w05b-174-172-164-and-earlierupdate-22-mcpatcher-hd-fix-431-01/ ), see the opening post
