It's already been said she's got stuff going on IRL that takes precedence, folks. She'll update the texture pack when she can so be patient. Why not take the oportunity to try out some of the other packs while waiting?
^this. Someone suggested a pack a few pages back to fill the gaps, and it does work rather nicely.

I'm thinking you might need to PM her this question (will also help if she needs to find where she gave/didn't give permission should something come up).
how do I run 2 packs at the same time without textures overlapping/saying which tp I want for main one?
When you add them to the active list in the game you can move them up and down. The ones further up on the list take priority - so if you have misa's first and another pack second, the game will take all it can from Misa's and fill in the gaps with whatever else you have. It does this with the default pack, for example. So in your resource pack list on the right hand ("Selected Resource Packs") side, you'd have:

If the Inserted texture pack uses multiple images for ores, grass plants it may still overlay some of Misa's textures even when placed after Misa's pack. You make need to edit the inserted texture pack to remove the offending textures. In my post on the previous page I talk about an issue I had where I needed to do this.
Any recommendations for 1.7.2 texturepacks to use as secondary packs with Misa's 1.6.4 pack as the primary? I've tried a few but they just don't blend in well enough so I just stick with the default as secondary to fill in the new bits.
Gives me a newfound appreciation as to how really, really good Misa's pack is.
The vigilantism on this thread is getting very old. Is begging for updates fruitless and, in a way, disrespectful to Misa? Yes. Is it anyone's responsibility beside her own to fend off people innocently asking for an update? No.
Except for couple of minor points you've missed.
1. She can't defend herself because she has RL sht going on.
2. It seems that there is a major amount of dumb asses adding more useless posts begging for an update instead of doing what everyone here with a brain has done, read a couple of posts. Posting a plz update post is not only a waste of Misa's time, but everyone else's because we have to read them all in the process of finding anything that's actually important. So in a sense it's disrespectful to the community in large as well.

I haven't, so I think the default works best as the fill in. im so glad that mcpatcher is now 1.7.2 working [somewhat, anyone notice the connected textures edges don't work on one side? hopefully they address this soon] I have started to play around manipulating existing textures like oak and darkening it to dark oak etc while waiting on the real release.

I've found that Creative ones Medieval pack blends quite well with this one
Ohh and to you Misa if you happen to see this: Love your pack! Normally I wait to play the new versions until you update as well This time I just couldn't wait to see the new biomes hehe
I actually replace the art files of Misa's pack with the Medieval pack, it has nice banners and weapons for "paintings" that fit my world. It is a good pack but I liked Misa's better and chose it for my world, and everything is built around her pack so I just play in 1.6 still. If I did update though I would probably use it....maybe if we do not get an update by 1.8 I'll consider upgrading and using it.
I guess it says something about the quality of Misa's work that people can't help but beg her to continue, and add in the newest items. I hope she gets through whatever is taking up her time offline soon and frees up time to work on textures again.
That said, I think I'm going to follow a suggestion people have made and use another pack to 'fill in' the 1.7.2 items that Misa's doesn't do--in particular, the modified John Smith pack that Youtuber 'monkeyfarm' uses in his LPs looks to be a potential winner.
Which brings me to a bit of a concern--one of the other reasons I dropped from using Misa's back to default was that I was doing work in the Nether...and Misa's texture for Soulsand is, quite frankly, creepy as ****. The problem is, her texture has animation on it, while the default doesn't--I'm presuming this is a MCPatcher texture feature...and I have no idea if/where any additional files related to this are kept in the pack, and I don't want to go merging in a different texture set only to have it break or try to overlay Misa's animation on the replacement. A little help with this, please?
Ah--I may have figured this out on my own. removing/replacing soul_sand.png and soul_sand.png.mcmeta looks like it'll do what I want. Simpler than I thought. :-)
If you took the time to read the last 10 pages, you would know that it will be updated but, when is another question. Misa is currently dealing with stuff IRL so all we can do is wait which to me is completely worth it when you think about the quality of her work here.
I would just like to point out, because it seems no one in this thread has noticed, that Misa's dirt has a f***ing face in it. I can't stop staring it it now. It just stares back. Just look at those eyes!

And you just did it again lol.
Also Bytemage you could probably simplify your location by ditching Earth and just having it say Sol 3.
Also to whoever asked what TP to use temporarily; I use the KoP pack linked a page or two back.

This post is not useless.

I'm not allowed to give it to anyone, though. I wonder if I'm allowed to post screenshots if I plaster "These are all Misa's textures" all over it.

I am not crazy! Here's some red line emphasis.
