Already been working on the hardened clay issue along with creating plans for an experimental solution to the current biome palette issues the new snapshot brought with it. If it works, it'll allow for extremely fine artist control of biome-related coloring for all texture packs. And from that I may have a way to fix the mess that the tacky disco canyons (and many of the other new biomes and flowers) have made of my pack.
Though really my life would be a hell of a lot easier if everyone just bugged Mojang to do something similar to what they did for grass-free dirt and add a number to the metadata for naturally-spawned hardened clay and sandstone (as opposed to collected and player-placed hardened clay and sandstone). That way we could have naturally occurring versions of those blocks (Through CTM or otherwise) that don't mess up the design of these blocks when used as building materials. Even Mojang would benefit from this aesthetically with the default textures. I mean no one really thinks that their naturally-occurring sandstone looks natural and blends in well with sand, do they?
Anyway I apologize for the lack of presence on here lately. I've been way too busy with renovations to sell my house and packing preparation for a big move. So if you don't see me on much, it's probably because I'm really busy or just too drained from all the work I'm doing here.
Thanks for this texturepack you earn [snip] For this
and so it begins.
Misa is in the long process of moving (cross-country, if I understand correctly), the snapshots made several changes to the code & how certain things work, and MCPatcher isn't even updated yet (newest snapshot broke some of the changes/fixes to MCPatcher).
This texture pack will probably never be updated before MCPatcher because it relies on MCPatcher for the features (updated WITH MCPatcher, however, is a different story).
Oh, and... uh... bugging people (Misa for texture pack, Khar for MCPatcher) about things does not get things done faster...
They'll be done when they're done & with quality work (I'd, personally, rather wait for something to be done really well than to have it rushed and end up sucking, even slightly)
With all the technical excellence of this texture pack, I must say it could really use some saturation. IMO when compared to many non-realistic (especially pixel art) packs, this one looks a bit depressing in the long run. Before playing, bump your color correction setting in graphic card's control panel and you'll see a real difference.
When you take an unedited photo of a bright and colourful landscape, Misa might take this into consideration.
Yes, I followed your instructions correctly.
Yes, I'm using MC Patcher 4.2.2 for Minecraft 1.6.2.
Yes, every other texture works great.
No, I don't like swimming in wet cement.
I used this texture pack previously and I never had this problem. I'd adjust the ammount of memory Minecraft uses, but MC Patcher seems to have removed that feature.
It should go without saying but YOU WILL NEED THE LATEST MCPATCHER TO AVOID PROBLEMS WITH THIS PACK. Note that Optifine may not support every feature in this pack. If you choose to use Optifine, any problems you encounter should be reported on the Optifine thread so that they can hopefully address your problems. DO NOT POST ANY ISSUES HERE IF YOU ARE USING OPTIFINE. This thread is for discussion of this texture pack only. I can only provide support if you've followed the installation instructions posted. I've also posted my pack on PlanetMinecraft. Give my pack there a diamond if you wish to support me.
Before you even download the pack note that this is not a place to post error messages. I am an artist. I simply provide art files for MCPatcher which enables HD texture packs to work with Minecraft. There is nothing in my pack that will mess up your game! So don't blame me for your hardships with installation. Be sure to read the installation instructions! This is an HD Pack, you cannot install it like any other texture pack! After you have read and followed the instructions, and you still have trouble with installation, check the F.A.Q. If you still have issues, please post them on the thread--someone should be able to help you. Do not PM me with tech support issues regarding getting the texture pack to work.
Please to be reading both paragraphs quoted from the OP.
I've been using this texture pack (It's a "Resource Pack" now I swear to the almighty space-cat Shaleron this game changes every time I come back to it) for a while now,it's a great textu...Resource pack and I hope it doesn't die off like dokucraft did.Diamond pants for you!
Misa, I've been using your texture pack since I first started playing minecraft. I wouldn't even consider playing this game without your texture pack...no b.s.
Thank you for all of your hard work and I hope that you will continue working on your masterpiece whenever your free time permits.
This is MIND BLOWING. But, I have a problem. The textures for the bottoms of birch, spruce, and jungle wood(not planks) are the default textures. I am on 1.6.2. Can you help me?

Yep. I'm an adventurer(at least that's what I think I am).

actually Misa's pack does support them with their own textures from even before it was supported in vanilla minecraft ,
but that by using CTM (which requires MCpacher/optifine) either install one of those preferably MCpacher if you want to enjoy the full features of this pack,
or wait for Misa to change the way they are set in the pack to utilize the native support minecraft recently added.
Can you please make this texture pack work for optifine! McPatcher doesn't install for me and I really want the Star Trek Textures for the Voyager map. It would be a great help to me and for my Forge FML!!
Thanks
Tj bruce

The title says "working on template for new snapshot."

Making a large pillar out of wooden fences results in the texture on east side being unconnected.

This? It's been there ever since she added CTM to fences. I don't really notice it unless I plant my face into the fence though...
Same problem here.
Simple answer: you're using OptiFine.
