I wouldn't uncheck CTM. That mod is far to awesome
Instead just delete the glass_blockframe and glass_paneframe folders in Misas pack. That worked perfectly for me. As you mentioned that they might be cached, did you restart the game before checking if something changed? (You probably did, I know )
I agree that the connected textures mod IS nice. Thanks for the tip about glass_blockframe and glass_paneframe folders.
Misa you forgot three insignificant things (You can make them in the following updating).
1) In 1.6.1 there was a new effect: Absorption. About it you can read on minecraft wiki. http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Status_effect
2) This effect gives 2 additional hearts of yellow color. In icons.png.
3) In CIT/degredation the broken diamond tools have no animation.
And remaining it is excellent.
Reinstall MCPatcher on a clean minecraft installation and make sure you launch the patched minecraft.jar.
As far as I remember Misa never had CTM for sandstone tops but only for chiseled and smooth sandstone.
I was thinking that after I posted it, but I could not remember for sure. I have been too busy working on my remixed package to log back into my 1.5 install to take a look

I got the white water and no custom font thing, too, after I installed REI's Minimap. Here's how to fix it:
copy the 1.6.1-mcpatcher folder. Mod the copy. Then rename the folder and the *jar and *json inside it to exactly the same thing. Open up the json in your text editor of choice (like notebad, BBEdit, vim, or even--god forbid--emacs). Under "id" change that value from 1.6.1-mcpatcher (or whatever it is) to whatever you named that folder.
Open up the launcher. Under the Local Version Editor, make sure your new one shows up. Edit your profile to point to the new version.
Profit.
Enjoy!
ETA: no spaces in the name of the folder, the json or the jar file.
Thanks for your help MrTomTom. I didnt find the option with the graphic processor. You mean right click on the minecraft.exe file right?
Im using windows7 x64. theres no option like that.
But I think I fixed it with a complete delete of the old .minecraft folder in the roaming folder.
It looks much smoother now. Cant describe it but it was horrible before.
I had 60fps but it was kind of stuttering, or like hutt132 said: "chopping"
Well, now I got the water problem Ive allready heared about. It looks pretty gray, no blue shine anymore.
But that should be no problem with the solution of Ciaviel.
Thanks to all, specially to Misa. You're the best.

Actually, I just moved the blockframe/panelframe directories into a "backup" directory. When I deleted the backup, the glass blocks/panes updated accordingly. (Greenhouses with all connected textures look odd.)
Here's a bit of a sum-up tech support FAQ for issues I've seen posted here and that were addressed in my Tinychat when I was running it on Monday:
Grey/white water
This usually means that MCPatcher hasn't been properly installed--more specifically the Custom Colors component. To see if it's working, run MCPatcher, ensure Custom Colors is checked, hit 'Patch,' then hit 'Test.' You should almost definitely see colored water in the test mode. If the grey water returns when you use the normal launcher this is likely because your launcher is using the wrong Minecraft jar file. See the solution to the issue directly below.
Patched with MCPatcher, but it's not working when the game is launched
To correct this, simply go into the launcher and click 'Edit Profile.' You'll see a dropdown menu that's labeled 'Use Version,' Ensure that you have the mcpatcher version of whatever game version you're trying to play. So for 1.6.1, you'd select 'release 1.6.1-mcpatcher.'
Removing CTM from glass without disabling CTM or Better Glass
The first way to do this is to open the texture pack's zip file, and navigate to the following:
..\assets\minecraft\mcpatcher\ctm\
In this folder, simply delete glass_blockframe for blocks and glass_paneframe for panes. This will remove the CTM for the frames only, but not affect the translucent glass. For many people though this is not too big of a deal.
However, there is a much better method with cleaner-looking results. In the glass_block, glass_blockframe, glass_pane, and glass_paneframe folders there is a properties file which can be opened with any text editor like notepad. Open each one, and delete all the lines except for the 'renderPass=X' line (This affects how the layers are overlapped for transparency) and add the following two lines:
method=replace
tiles=0
If someone wants to create and upload a zip of just these four properties files in the proper folders that people can just drag and drop into the ctm folder, let me know and I'll post it here.
Game runs incredibly choppy
My magical psychic powers predict that you are running on a laptop--that and read Dinnerbone's tweets last week on the subject and it reminded me of the exact same issue I dealt with in my Tinychat years ago that seems to be popping up with more frequency since the 1.6 update. If you're running on a laptop with a dedicated graphics card, this is just a simple matter of assigning the java and/or minecraft applications to use your dedicated graphics over your integrated graphics. For AMD/ATI cards, this can be done in the Catalyst Control Center, and on NVidia cards this can be done in the NVidia control panel. Alternatively you may be able to do this by right clicking on the launcher and looking for an option that allows you to run the application with your dedicated graphics processor. As I don't have a laptop myself, I can't give you the specific steps, but it shouldn't be too hard to figure out by just clicking around or using Google now that you know what needs to be done.
I'd also really like to thank all of those of you who have shown your support in whatever way you can. It is greatly appreciated. : )

Thank you, but, what if i dont use AMD/ATI or NVidia Cards? im using Intel HD Graphics Family...
Have you converted this texture pack to a resource pack yet? the converter does a right Âty job of it, making it unusable.
The current version of Misa's texture pack IS a resource pack. It should not be converted.
Download the file and put it straight into resourcepacks folder.

Yes it does. CTM and other MCPatcher mods used in the pack are not supported by Minecraft 1.5.2, you still have to use a mod or patcher to use these features.

1.6.2 Prerelease has broken HD fonts. Anybody know of a simple way to fix this? I applied the MCPatcher to the 1.6.2 Jar file, but the option for Extended HD is greyed out, which is probably where the problem lies.
Intel G41 express ....
Then this doesn't apply to you as Intel doesn't make dedicated graphics cards for gaming--only integrated chips. The point of this fix is if you have both a video card and integrated video and there's a conflict where Minecraft is using the inferior onboard stuff instead of the card made for gaming. If you only have integrated video, there is no such conflict. Unfortunately there's no real quick fix for hardware not designed for gaming. The best you can do is check out and follow the performance guide on the FAQ on this thread's first post. Note that memory allocation for Minecraft can now also be performed through the profile editor in Minecraft's launcher.

Not much I can fix on my end right away. Sounds like they've changed how the fonts are rendered in this patch: [MC-17673] – Distorted fonts when using a converted texturepack on startup For a quick fix, you could try moving the ascii png file from the font folder in the MCPatcher directory to the font folder in the default textures directory. The font will definitely show up in-game, but whether or not it'll have the proper spacing is kinda on Mojang at this point. If Mojang did in fact create a decent system for high resolution font rendering, then I'll likely need to later edit my pack to reflect this as I know Kahr has wanted to drop his HD Font rendering code from MCPatcher if he could. Though I'll still probably need to wait for MCPatcher to update for this change as it may have a better way of handling the spacing properties for Mojang's font rendering.
for me the bow in my hotbar the bow string texture is is not there so it is just a curved stick is it just a glitch or is there something i did wrong can you help

I got the same problem since the new patch. Its stuttering very hard when im moving around. Never had been like that in the past.

Rollercoaster
Anyone know?
Check out the channel if you want, you won't be too disappointed, I hope :3
Misa does. Fixed my gray water and also fixed my font at the same time. Yeah I felt silly, but it is a new launcher to learn so...
