I just joined the forum in order to make this post. Not to put too fine a point on it, your texture pack has made Minecraft playable for me. I've tried a number of other texture packs and they're all either lousy or too resource-hungry (or both). Yours is perfect.
This economy is tough on artists. I'm not very familiar with the Minecraft online culture, but in other communities I'm involved in, it's not uncommon for an artist to put up a virtual "tip-jar" (paypal link or some such) to make it easy for those who really enjoy the work to show their gratitude. I'm happy to click the Adfly link, but I know there isn't much money generated per click. I'd do more if I could.
Anyway, just a thought. If you're unable to continue working on the texture pack because you can't afford to, we all lose out.

There is a Donate button on the opening post of this thread (At the section "Download")
You can blame Mojang for that one. There's nothing I can do without compromising the size/quality of the flame rod--and even then it won't fit in the hand as well as the stick. I'd suggest reporting it on their bug tracker if it hasn't already been reported.
Also I just realized, as of a few minutes ago, I've been working on the pack for the update for 24 hours... I probably should sleep at some point, but the caffeine probably won't let me...
Texture pack's been updated for 1.6, and has a bunch of new goodies on the side! Be sure to check out the announcements and changelog to see what all's new.
At this point, I've been up for longer than 25 hours--most of it spent working on the horses 'n' such which I only had time to work on at the last minute. So excuse any potential bugs that may arise from their skins. I'll likely be refining certain parts once I've had more time to play with them. Same goes for a few other new features added. I didn't have much testing time in general, and my old playtesters haven't been available in awhile. Also I should probably try to get some sleep, so you'll have to wait until I wake up for any official support and responses to PM's.
Just now downloaded/added to resource packs, and it looks like the font is still MC default? I dunno... this new set up feels all kinds of wonky to me :c

anyone know how to fix the glass texture so that it includes the individual frames for the glass blocks and panes?
In assets\minecraft\mcpatcher\ctm, delete the glass_blockframe and glass_paneframe. Alternatively, open the files inside and edit them to use the frames you want, or just delete or rename the extension of the property file in each of those folders.
I used MCpatcher and still only shows the default font :S

Run MCPatcher again, ensure HD Fonts are checked, patch, then hit the test button to launch the game. If they show up there, then it's working. If you load the game again and they don't show up, you probably just have the wrong version selected on Mojang's launcher. Ensure you have the MCPatcher version of the game selected on there.
Okay, since I'm probably gonna get a lot of tech support issues today, I think it might be wise to open the old Tinychat. If you have a tech support issue head on over here: http://tinychat.com/misas64x64
You don't need to sign on with Facebook or anything, just sign in as a guest and I'll be able to help you much more easily that way. You can also just hang out if you're bored or want to stream or something.
The Tinychat's now closed. And yes, I still haven't gone to bed since the time I mentioned I'd been up for longer than 25 hours--I lost count somewhere around 36. I'm too tired to do the math now. : P

Wow, after reading you might have troubles and no time for a resource pack update, plus the trouble with you home I could just hope my favourite pack would not be discontinued.
Yet still you managed to get it out the date 1.6.1 got released, R.E.S.P.E.C.T.

Cause you use optifine
It's not new it's the better glass feature in mcpatcher it's not in optifine you can easily make mine craft works with both just google it
