No need and no point to. There's already a bunch of fans out there who have created companion textures for my pack and various mods. Just Google around. I don't use any of those mods, so I wouldn't really be the best one to do their textures any justice. I also have so many things to do on the main pack that trying out new mods like these to get a good strong feel for them would just be counter-productive.
That's awesome, but when I searched for one of the companion textures, there is none that fully support all of the textures in tekkit lite and voltz. Do you know where I can find one that does?

I'm having issues with removing the custom font from the current .zip file. I do not care for it and have had no issues removing it previously. I've tried redownloading the file twice now and have the same problem. I am unable to unpack the .zip to repack it without the fonts folder, or just delete it from the zip like I'd always done.
Using 7-zip 9.20 ... if that makes a difference. It throws "Unsupported Compression Method" errors:
I had the same thing happen. You need to use WinRAR.
1st: pack is only fully compatible with MCPatcher.
2nd: everything works as it is supposed to (save a few errors I and a few others are having because of the zip file (though I haven't been having the white water issue lately, so I'm just having the no splash screen issue)). Glass panes & blocks are connected. The cauldron is a cauldron. The sky is blue (different shades for different biomes).
3rd: I'm going to leave the Quartz thing for Misa to cover (I, personally, like how it's done)
Misa confirmed this. She forgot it. It will be in the next pack version. (Seriously, use search and search for "Detector Rail")

Man, help me really, everytime i hve this texture pack on, a few minutes later minecraft literally freezes and i need t close it with the task manager, i already tried increasing java heap size, but it doesnt work since i have the cracked version, i have set minecraft as a high priority in java, and still, i cannot do it, i have installed the pack correctly, i have 6 gigs of ram, and an intel core i3 proccessor, but i need an answer, i added some files to the pack, i decompressed the zip, and then compressed it again with the files added, could the file be corrupt? or not? please help me, i love this texture pack!.

are you talking about java, in which case it's free.
if Minecraft, expect no help.
I don't have much in the way of performance issues, myself (just occasional lag, but nothing totally unplayable most of the time). I play on a laptop with 4 gigs RAM & my processor is: AMD A4-3300M APU. These are the defaults for my laptop, btw.
Also, I usually don't have to decompress the pack and recompress when I add my changed files. All I do is copy them into the zip file directly (with 7zip, also free).
Just chiming in to show that I'm still alive. I just haven't felt like responding to the myriad of tech support issues that have been flooding this thread as there's really very little control I have over any of it, and most of it has already been answered or would be better-directed to another thread. I'm way too busy with real life stuff and working on the pack to really waste time on giant response posts only a few people read.
In regards to the pack, the alternates pack I was working on will be temporarily delayed (but with good reason). There's some new experimental features I'm investing all my time in which I don't want to give too much away on just yet. All I'll really put out for now is that they involve items and the current progress on them is proving to be quite sexy. Sufficed to say, anyone wanting to edit the pack can still find the old alternates file in the old version of the pack linked on my main thread.
I really wish I could donate to the pack but I'm only 12 and I don't have a lot of money but this is up there with one of my favorite packs! I remember I made a video on it back when minecraft was in 1.5_01 and lagged like crazy!
may have been asked, but can you please make a 32x version? I tried playing this (and it looks like the most beautiful and realistic texture pack ever) but then everything turns into graphics that look worse than normal minecraft (not complaining about default textures) and most of the time, I crash....maybe its because my laptop is 32x and no higher ;_;

Non, your Windows being 32bit has nothing to do with what you are experiencing. You are likely running into issue because you are on a laptop and there are not enough resources to run the game with the 64 X 64 textures that Misa makes.

(is an idiot when it comes to details of computers) Well, I found a 32x version of this pack anyway, but it crashes everytime i start a world. Is it because I'm using Optifine instead of MCPatcher? I'm going to try MCPatcher instead and see if that resolves it.
Unless what you said means I shouldn't be able to run it at all. I just know Photo Realism 32x works fine (except the mobs are vanilla and everything looks ugly) so I'm not too sure why this doesn't work

When you start up mcpatcher Non, at the top in red letters there is an option to convert the texture pack, you will be missing a lot of the pack hasn't been updated since 1.3 but it might still work for some of the textures. You would just have to deal with vanilla stuff mixed in.
converting the 32x pack didn't work, so i converted the normal pack (just trying) and changed my java stats (whatever it was called mentioned in the FAQ) and its working thus far. Sure, it takes 2-4 minutes for minecraft to start up but oh well.
Now I just have to deal with my mouse wheel constantly scrolling up and down so I can't get a sword when I desperately need it xP
