Which HD texture mod are you using, MCPatcher or OptiFine? If the latter, try to set its FPS slider to a multiple of your monitor's vertical refresh rate (i.e. 60Hz -> FPS = 60, 120, 180…).
Using MCPatcher. I was under the impression that OptiFine didn't fully support Misa. I should probably ask about this in the general support forum. Although I'm only experiencing it with Misa so far, I think the problem doesn't really have much to do with this texture pack.
Yes, I concur. And although OptiFine in fact doesn't support all of Misa's features, you can use it if you're content with "only" the supported ones.
As someone that can't really run Minecraft anymore without Optifine, I've gotta ask, what am I missing out on by using it? I mean I keep hearing that it uses CTM differently, but nobody's ever gotten into specifics, or shown side by side comparisons.
Misa, I have a question: How does better glass work? I've been trying to make some custom connected glass with a partial transparency, but I don't know what other files I need to create, or how any of it applies to different versions (I tested it in a patched 13w03a jar since my current pack isn't converted for the newer mcpatcher versions). When looking through the glass from certain angles, other blocks disappear. The glass block in the inventory looks completely solid, and I'm using the default "ctm" file in the root folder, which is doing weird stuff mixing up glass sandstone and bookshelves. IDK if kahr changed how that file works, but either way, do you have any advice??
Thanks in advance.

I think you could use that "default" file just fine, if you place properties files in ctm folder, where all other things related to ctm in this pack are.
Hey misa I saw your alternatives.png in the folder and want to replace my glowstone and some other with 1 of the alts could you pm me with how to do it thanks
Danger
ps love your pack
For 1.4.7/13w01b and before, you need to use an image editing program that supports transparent backgrounds (MS Paint does NOT work, for example, but Paint.net DOES work (and is free)).
Then open both the alt image and the terrain image &...
use the rectangle select to highlight the desired texture change in the alt file, ...
copy it, ...
then, in the terrain file, paste it over the existing image (some things to note...)
when pasting, you may have to drag the pasted image to the exact spot you need
do not let the selection deselect from the copied image until it is where it needs to be
if there is any transparency to the copied image, make sure you use the rectangle select to select the original texture and delete it to avoid any overlap (example: Iron bars)
this last part is important as some images have either animations or connected/random textures...
delete the properties file of that same texture (should be enough to just delete that, but you could also delete the image files as well...)
For 13w02a on: it's simply a matter of copying the image as before, except the file you paste to is simply the texture itself... (I'm assuming that animated textures, connected textures, and random textures will have the added steps of resizing the file to match just the image copied & deleting any properties files associated with it, but I do not know for sure as the official pack is not yet released).

What I would really like to see from a realistic texture pack is a thing that most people overlook: the night sky. If you could make the night sky look amazing that would be great! Suggestions include: a nebula, a star cluster, different colored stars (All normal star colors include: red, orange, yellow, white, blue). If you can animate the texture (I am not really sure if you can animate the sky) you could have comets and asteroids.
Think about some of these ideas. You have some real skill at textures.
Thanks.
Edit: By the way the Ender Dragon Texture looks amazing!

Did you even look at the sky at night, after proper installation? Sunrise and sunset are also worth your time.

Night sky is already done and looks amazing (and stars viewed from the naked eye look white).
As I know it, the night sky is just an image that rotates with the moon (and, thusly, with the sun). Even IF it could be animated (which I'm not sure if it can or not), the file size would be ridiculous as each frame would have to be animated for pretty much the entire Minecraft day (or at least night, which is still a long time).

I understand that the night sky is done and it does look good. However it still looks like just a normal sky. I DO understand that it would be really hard to animate the sky. That was just one of the ideas passing through my skull at the time of my last post. The sunrise and the moon are really good but I still think that the night sky could look really really cool.

Has anyone been able to get this texture pack to work with ANY snapshots? I tried the last two and it was total failure. Whatever they said the fixed in "b" it isn't. Texture won't load, text all garbled. Am I missing something?

You're missing the title of this thread. It says [1.4.7]+[13w01b] ... and you tested it with 13w09a/b, so what do you expect?
All newer snapshots use the new texturepack format, so especially terrain and item textures won't load.
MCPatcher does have a beta version which helps (some textures still missing in cases of shared/new textures).
I know this because Misa responded to a comment several pages back informing me of such as this & I loaded it up, and found out for myself the rest.
I'm not sure whether or not this has already been requested. I used the search and it didn't bring up any results, so I assumed it was not requested before.
Could you include armor for the Mine little Pony mod? Here the link to the mod.
Thanks in advance!
From the FAQ in the 1st post:
Q: Will you make some textures for (insert mod name here)? A: Possibly. But most likely not. I only try to support purely graphical mods. Any mod that alters entities, gameplay or adds any other thing to the game that can corrupt your saves will not be supported by me. If you find a non-intrusive, purely graphical mod, please suggest it for my review. See here for more details. I will then decide whether or not I will support it with my art. I will take alternate texture requests though. Best place to suggest those is in my Tinychat (Mon-Fri).(Closed until further notice)
