First off. Outstanding retexture. I have a crappy computer, and I swear my fps is better with this. O.o

Have only two problems getting it to run. And I've messed around with MCP options and searched many pages of the forum quite a bit.

The dirt has a portal symbol and two fire symbols on it. Correct me if I'm wrong but it shouldn't be like that?
Also, when I shoot my flame bow the fire says "Install latest mcpatcher"
Well I got the one straight from the front page, three times now. I can't seem to fix it.

Try rerunning MCPatcher again. If you get those texture problems, the MCPatcher hasn't been setup correctly. Follow Misa's instructions again.

Run Minecraft
Force Update
Close Minecraft
Run MCPatcher (should be version 2.4.4_01 at time of this post)

Adding to that, make sure you click "patch" button before running Minecraft.

Is it just me, or does everything seem like, green in a jungle biome? I mean like the sky and like smooth stone and it just seems like really green and it sucks cause I play on a server and the town I live in is made on a jungle biome.

MCPatcher "options" tab, scroll down to "custom colors" and uncheck what you don't like. Or disable it completely in mods menu.

How can you do that in optifine? Thanks for your help.

I just reinstalled everything again and come up with the same problems :/ The versions are up to date. I feel like it's something with the HD textures? I don't think my computer like's HD so I have all those at default on the options. I'm not entirely computer retarded either I clear the bin. Update. I click the patch button. I've followed all the instructions. It's gotta be something in the mcpatcher options I feel

This thread is for texture pack, so I'd suggest go to MCPatcher thread (or Optifine) for answers about technical problems with them, you will more likely get information there.

I had serious issues downloading the pack. I tried to download 4 times, always getting pop ups, no download. Then, I got captcha crap! The first time there were no captcha words to input, it was just a FedEx ad, then when I tried again, the captcha words were completely illegible. Finally, my 7th try I could download the pack. I think someone should look into this. It is a mess. Love this textue pack by the way!

I'm assuming you're using the adf.ly link. That's an ad service that allows texture artists like Misa to get revenue from their work without charging for it. She includes that as an optional link for people who want to support her (and really, we all should), but if that link gives you trouble use one of the alternates.

Yes, it's called "[64X][1.4.5]+[12W49A] MISA'S REALISTIC TEXTURE PACK (UPDATED 10DEC2012)" the textures locations almost never change. The only ones that I know have ever changed is emerald block replacing the old chest.
