Hey Misa,
Long time user of your pack here, (wow, I can honestly say it's been over a year or so) still impressed, as always. Not only is it one of my favourite packs out there, but is also (in my opinion) one of the best texture packs out there.
Is there any possibility you can upload a base-GUI image. (AKA the GUI of your inventory, for example, without any of the slots in it) I'm attempting to make Misa-esque GUI's for the 'technical mods' which I know you wouldn't support. (due to the vast additions of entities and blocks) It will be for personal use only and if I want to give it to somebody else, I'll ask for permission from you first.
Regards
A long time Misa Texture Pack user.
Check out my thread I have permission to support the mods with misa based textures. I am moving into making it totally compatible with FTB, including gui's/
Also heya, Balthy. Didn't realize you still followed the forums much. I'll try to put out an update with the new 70 creeper roster sometime this week (Partly depending on the update schedule for MCPatcher). Next week I'll be preparing for holiday and family-related stuff, and the week or two after that I probably won't be even able to check the forums much at all until the holiday season ends.
I also need to stop working on the pack at random intervals and forgetting to keep a change log. From what I can think of though this won't be too big of an update. Regarding Randomobs, I didn't get to do much with stuff apart from creepers. I need more free time to get into the frame-of-mind to work on pumping out lots of mob skins. I was thinking of tackling spiders next though. Mostly just adding a few new ones. As far as other features go, I can only thing of two:
-Redid ladders from scratch and added vertical CTM support to them
-Added support for a small upcoming feature to MCPatcher that allows editing of a previously un-editable component. (hint: it rhymes with the most unevolved form of this)
I'll try to get at least one more change in there if I can before release because I'm not that big of a fan of tiny updates. Given the holidays though, it's probably better to put out something to hold everyone over for awhile.

I am very excited now, I think I guessed the Pokemon correctly but for the life of me can't think of a word that rhymes with it and relates to an un-editable component in Minecraft
Guess I'll wait and see

i figured i would try some mods today since i've been using this pack and vanilla minecraft for what seems like forever. buildcraft looked interesting so i installed the latest version of forge and the mod pack. after pulling my hair out trying to get mcpatcher, forge and buildcraft to play nice, i did some digging. apparently the people behind forge dislike mcpatcher (thusly not supporting it) and recommend optifine which i've never tried.
i did finally get it to work together somewhat, but it involves turning off custom colors, randomobs, HD textures, HD text and i think connected textures. pretty much the meat of your pack. alas, i can't handle default textures for very long, so i won't be messing with forge or buildcraft any time soon.

I am sory if the question is annapropiate.
But is there any mod support for this texturepack?
Misa was most kind and put an answer to that question in the very first post in this thread. Return her kindness and satisfy your question by reading it.
Or maybe you added Optifine to MC Patcher's mod list?
I did this once and it did kinda screw up CTM and I ended up with random textures all over the tops of grass blocks
It could be that Optifine isn't compatible with the way MC Patcher does random textures (although it does seem that it works the other way around)
Try making a fresh install of Minecraft and patching it with the latest MC Patcher and see what happens.
Just needed to reset the map, its all better now :D, thanks though!
Misa, I was wondering if you could provide mod textures for Feed The Beast. It's textures lack a lot of things and could your your skills.
I would like misa to make a tekkit one. Feed the beast looks kinda like an updated tekkit .-.
Misa stated before though that she only does textures for mods that do not add blocks/items, but mods that improve looks, purely aesthetics. An example mod would be connected textures mod.

I'm new to mods, and only used one previously. In your instructions, you say to delete the "bin" folder...will that cause any damage to Minecraft? I ask because in the bin folder, there's minecraft.jar. In the other texture pack I downloaded, which was MineWars, I didn't have to delete any folders. Will deleting that cause any problems in game? I just don't want to mess up and have Minecraft be unplayable.
If you delete the bin folder and start the game up it should re-download everything, don't worry.
You only really need to do this if the texture pack is bugging out.
Basically clean out any leftover stuff from the mod you used.
So I need to delete Minewars? That's the only one I've used.

I've been working on compatability textures, first for Tekkit, and now for Feed The Beast. Basically you install Misa's, and other texture packs for Tekkit/FTB (for example, Sphax), and then replace the relevant textures in the mods to make the two different styles blend together better.
In Tekkit I used Sphax and Misa, with all mod ores and flora adjusted - https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ofsyhnnryqim88m/DhaQz1kT0j
Almost finished all of ExtraBiomesXL, just started on TwilightForest.
You do need some knowledge of editing texture files though to use, due to permissions. Misa gave me permission for Tekkit, once FTB1.4.5 Ultimate is out, I'll be contacting Misa again
For tekkit (or FTB if you manually update to new texture paths, etc), I also recommend looking on PlanetMineCraft for a texturepack by T42. It fits really well with Misa's style. John Smith textures also fit very well, even though it's a 32x pack, I just scaled it up. Still looks better then having a 16x next to a 64x texture.

Can you make a blend of Misa's and John Smith's please? I'm not very art savvy and really don't know how to do mix them. All I can do is drag and drop from one texture pack to another.

If you can cut and paste from one image to another, my textures would work with any texture pack. I'm not an artist like Misa, but I can cut up and manipulate images fairly well.
For John Smith, you would have to rescale the images to 64 instead of 32, then update associated textures.

It's not an updated Tekkit or looks like one. Read some of the posts for John smith's mod:

[Edit] I deleted minewars from the texturepack folder..should I be okay to install Misa's texture pack now?
