What awesome textures! The details in this texture pack are a excellent quality and has a cool gui and inventory. I have used quite a few texture packs in the 128x to 32x range (including the awesomeness that is the Albion 64x texture pack (updated for 1.3.2)) and none can quite compare to the detail of this pack. Seems to have a semi realistic look with the rpg flavor?
Installing this texture pack feels like going from manufactured to hand crafted custom.. in most cases. Also there is a Misa's texture add-on pack for Industrial Craft 2 which looks amazing also (I have trouble with the geothermal and wind generators textures and gui for some reason). Without Misa's textures minecraft wouldnt be a half as fun for me.
I love it, but i've noticed a strange bug with a light . Light was flashing in some different colors .
I Have deleated lightmap0, lightmap1, lightmap-1 from environment and it works. Great work, in my opinion this is the best realistic texture pack, and game still works without any lag (on my old laptop 60 fps).
Thank you for sharing your method of removing the wierd/strange/glittchy light that seemed to change with shadows and such. I use Optifine for its performance enhancing ability and extra video options, so I had some problems with using Misa's texture pack as well. The odd shadows and colors are gone now but I can only wonder what im missing out on now that those lightmaps are gone..
misa why you cleaned clothes of an armor from items and placed in inventory and survival_inv. When I put on the reservation at me everything merges. It can you will correct.
P.S Also I hope structures for 1.4 will be interesting and beautiful.

First of all, put images like that into spoiler brackets:

Second, let me translate what you said into English:
"Misa, why did you put the armor placeholder texture from items.png into inventory.png and survival_inv.png? When I put on armor, those textures merge with the placeholder textures instead of replacing them."
...and these pictures will explain it better:
Placeholder on inventory.png and survival_inv.png:
Placeholder in items.png only:
Edit: I also want to note that it took me about a minute to "fix" that.

Dats called artistic interpretation and She doesn't really need to give an answer. and the other poster said It takes a min or so to "fix" if you don't like it. Personally Im fine with it.
is there a way to get glass blocks and panes back to the way they looked?
Disable better glass in MCPatcher and edit frame for panes in terrain.png. Maybe you'll also need to delete properties files for glass and panes, if they still will have CTM applied.
To those with lighting issues who are using Optifine. Take it up with Optifine on the Optifine thread, use MCPatcher, or use another texture pack. My pack has nothing to do with the lighting issues you're getting. There is literally nothing I can do here, and nothing that my pack is doing that can possibly cause the lighting issues you're describing as it contains no code that affects lighting. If anything the problem is with Optifine's poor interpretation of files in my pack.
It's your own responsibility if you elect to not follow the installation instructions and use the patcher this pack was designed around. Everytime you modify the game's files, you have to accept responsibility for the possibility that you may corrupt your game. If the two things you want to use are incompatible, it's not the responsibility of the authors to ensure compatibility. It's actually horribly unrealistic to expect this considering that there are no universal standards for Minecraft mods to adhere to.
I'm way beyond tired of seeing Optifine technical problems posted here. That's not what this thread is for.
Anyone know of any way to "Follow this Topic"? I have tried to do this for months now, it never saves the setting. I have seen that Curse knows about this issue, and I can follow other topics, but this one I cannot.

It is not exactly the feature you want but I just type "misa's texture pack" in google and a link to the forum post is usually the first.
So this isn't a problem with your texture pack because your texture pack is, in fact, the best I've ever used. No matter what I try, I always come back to yours. (And also, a bunch of other really cool texture packs just use your stuff.)
But I am having a problem. I use Spoutcraft, and I get this problem where I have floating zombie heads coming at me instead of whole zombies. Have you heard of this issue before? If so, do you know what its source might be? I'm only asking you because--for some reason--yours is the only pack that has this problem...and yours is the one I really want to use.
Here's what it looks like:
Thanks!

I'm confused, is Misa a boy or a girl...?

We just believe you are God, or something.
/me rushes to the download
Edit: Sorry it was on my end.
I am also having a problem with lighting, outside at night and underground. I am using the latest optifine and did not use mcpatcher.
I do not have this issue with the default textures.

edit: NEVERMIND dont wory guys, error on my end works fine
