Heh, damn, the comment I was 'hissing' at was removed. Anyway for those wondering about the delay in updates, it has to do with the glass stuff I mentioned earlier last week. There's still some minor issues to iron out on the technical side of things on the latest snapshot (More weird Mojang-related **** which I believe to be related to the change in rendering mode for the beacon light effect from previous versions.). I would have released an update already for the snapshot but I don't like releasing half-implemented features, and I don't feel like cutting out the feature for a later update just to add that one thing in there or be forced to come up with even more content to justify an update for that one thing.
Misa, I started doing some stuff with wool, and I'm not sure how the textures are supposed to work for it now. I've used 4 or 5 different colors of wool, but only yellow seems to have the different texture on it.
MISA I would like to say that you can add to your package better than the sky
(if the creator mсpatcher it soon will).
1. enderman world
2. rainbow after the rain
3. animation in the sky a star falls very nicely
But that's not all blink: residents, zombies, zombie resident ,creeper, spider, dragon, golem.
Looking good so far, Misa. I remember I was about to reply to a post of yours that seemed to suggest that you're about to give up on making the pack if Mojang keeps up like this. Could be just me, though. But still, dat new fish texture makes me excited.
Speaking of fish, is there by chance a mod that spawns fish in the water? Even if it's just the fish item turned 3D and mob-like, I would love to try it out.
MISA will soon be red power 2 I know that many make textures for mods, but my texture is one feature that is animation. In others, there is no texture animation, and I have. Made only three animations. I did it like this:
from = /anim/misaredpower.png
to = /eloraam/machine/machine1.png
x = 320
y = 640
w = 64
h = 64

If you're asking her to make all those mobs blink, it's completely unnecessary for all of them except the villagers. Zombies and zombie villagers are (un)dead, so they don't need to blink; creepers don't appear to have eyeballs, so again, no need to blink; spiders don't have eyelids, so they couldn't blink if they wanted to; the dragon is never stationary, nor is it slow enough to notice it blinking; and the golem is a magically animated iron statue. Last I checked, statues don't blink.

I like to think that I have at least some of the design sense that Mojang lacks in some areas. Regarding your wool stuff, I'm not sure this is really a topic for this thread. But as it is, there's not enough information provided for me to be able to help. You provided no screenshots to illustrate your issue or texture pack files you've created so I can see where you might be going wrong. If you want my help, take this question to PM and provide the necessary information.

None of the sky stuff you want is currently feasible the way I'd like it to be. It's all on the to-do/wish list though. As far as blinking mobs go, Executor32 pretty much answered that the way I would've. Blinking villagers will be done at some point.
MISA tell the approximate number of the output of your package
700 watts. I dunno. If you're referring to the amount of downloads my pack gets that I'm aware of, it's hard to say really. There's no way to tell how many of the downloads I've gotten are unique users, all I have are raw numbers and only for the versions of my pack that aren't being illegally rehosted. I know it's a point of pride for some people here to brag about how many downloads they've gotten, but I've never really been keen on that sort of childish penis-measuring contest, myself. If you really must know, the most I can really say on the matter is that I lost count awhile ago at around 4 million downloads.

Anyone who's heard me go on rants about what I'd change about the game will attest to the fact that I've been saying for years that fish need to be a visible mob with varying sizes. Fishing one out will have it flop around on the land and you should be able to use a bucket to catch it or a weapon attack to kill it for dropped meat. A caught fish would be place-able in water and would be kept alive wherever you put it, or it could be crafted with wool for a trophy block. I never liked that the caught fish art was also treated as the food item. I would've preferred something more along the lines of the other meat-producing animals.

In case you're not aware, 'Misa' is not an acronym--it doesn't need to be in all caps. Anyway I'm not sure what this has to do with discussion of my pack and you've posted a lot here today, if you just want to talk to me about other texture-related things, take it to PM, please. You might also want to put a spoiler tag on the absurdly-long image file you posted so everyone doesn't have to scroll all the way past it to get to the next post.

I mean I doing stuff with wool in the game, with your texture pack. You had said you added a new texture to the tops of wool blocks, and I was saying I only saw it on yellow.
Upon closer inspection, I think I see I was wrong; There are different textures for the various colors, and yellow just has a more pronounced woven texture to it, and I thought they were all supposed to look like that. Blue and red look more smoothed out, and grey and white are more... well... wooly. Side-by-side, I can see the differences well enough, but when I was placing them in different places around my world, I was thinking they all looked the same (except yellow) and something wasn't working right.
Misa, one question I want to ask was that rather than doing an update for a snapshot like everybody else seems to want, could you update the 1.3.x version of the pack with the new changes that apply to 1.3.x such as the new fish texture and stuff like that? I'm sitting here drooling looking at how fantastic this stuff is!
That'd require removing a bunch of files from the working version of the pack. Anyway I should be able to update shortly after MCPatcher does. At least for the previous snapshot. We'll see how long it takes me to figure out what the hell I'm going to do with the witch mobs. Bats should be easy at least. If I can get at least some base skins for those, it'll be a complete up-to-date update by the time it's released. If not, I'll still just release what I have at the moment after some minor tweaking to the glass thing.

I hope your only doing those animated textures for yourself considering that is a duplicate of my texturepack you started with.

As a Minecraft player, this concept confuses me.
