I finally got it to work, but now I have a new problem. After a while of playing with the texture pack, my game will just close itself. Any fix to this? Is it something on my end, or is it the pack's fault?
Check out FAQ in the first post about increasing memory for java.
Love your work Misa, glad to have someone that enjoys this sort of thing.
I do have a question though. I noticed that in some texture packs, the glass blocks blend together to form a single large glass block with a border, but yours does not. Is there a specific reason you do glass this way or is it something that I can put in a request for?
Just so you know, I do love all of your textures, though for personal reasons I may change one or two as I play with it to get a different effect, but so far yours is top shelf.

Why won't you try and use search function?
I did increase memory fo Java, and it didn't help. How much memory am I supposed to put into Minecraft? My computer is not a gaming computer, it is a regular home computer, but it's not a bad computer by any means. The only reason I can't run Arma 2 is because of my graphics card, so it shouldn't be a huge problem with Minecraft.
My computer has 4048MB RAM. How much am I supposed to put towards Minecraft? I already have 2000 going towards it. It originally only had 768 going towards it

Minecraft is quite demanding game, not only amazing graphics can force to kneel down your computer. I'm not very expirienced with hardware problems, try searching support section of forum, most likely something similar was already discussed dozens of times.

Why won't you try and use search function?
Because I had been up for nearly 36 hours when I posted that and didn't realize that I had actually read why Misa isn't doing it. I understand her decision on this, though perhaps this will make me learn about the csm or what ever the function is called so I can modify the texture pack to suit me.
@Keirgarth2007 You missed the point of the search feature completely. There's already support files for what you're looking for in this thread. http://www.minecraft...st__p__17034611
Misa, have you considered using OptiPNG on your texture pack to cut down on file size, and possibly allow people having issues with BetterSkies to use it? I did that and sent it to my friend who is also an avid user of your texture pack and he was able to use BetterSkies, whereas before he wasn't. I'd keep the originals backed up of your files if you need to make changes to them later, as one way it cuts down on file sizes is changing the palettes of the images if possible, i.e. some of the BetterSkies images get reduced quite substantially as the pallet is cut down to grayscale, etc. On my computer I ran it with the command "optipng -o7 *.png" in every image directory of the texture pack and cut down somewhere around 8MB total off the pack total, especially in the BetterSkies part. Oh and also, OptiPNG doesn't affect the original image's quality or anything, just compresses better and whatnot, so that's not an issue.
Ok, I put my memory towards Minecraft up to 3500, and yet it's still happening. What's wrong? Is it my computer? When Minecraft closes itself, this is what I get as a word document on my desktop:

I don't speak computer, so I have no idea what this means, if it tells me what's wrong or not. Maybe one of you can help me?
I have to say, this is a favorite of mine. This texture pack is PERFECT for building modern homes which I do a lot in my singleplayer world. Thanks for taking the time to make this for so long.
Why haven't I commented on this pack yet? This pack is my all-time favorite texture pack. NOTHING else I have tried can hold a candle to this amazing work of yours, Misa. An infinite number of diamonds for you!
If this pack was available in 256x256 or at least 128x128 it would definitely be my favorite pack of all. But the 64x64 resolution makes it a little too grainy for me. I'd really love some higher resolution versions
@Keirgarth2007 You missed the point of the search feature completely. There's already support files for what you're looking for in this thread. http://www.minecraft...st__p__17034611
Thanks Misa, I didn't miss the point of the search, I just didn't know what to search for. Until I read that thread I didn't realize that I should be searching for "ctm" and not "blend". Makes a bit of a difference on the results
Unfortunately, Misa has stated time and time again that she usually only does textures for mods that only add cosmetic changes and will not do textures for mods that have the potential to corrupt saved games.
To bad, i really love this texture pack and used it for a long time but now i have to find a new one because i switched to tekkit because i also love to play around with that kind of stuff.
Thanks anyway for the awesome texture pack misa! (especially the bed and dispensers haha)
Looks like you have an oldish onboard Intel GPU. Have you experienced issues with Misa's texture pack previously? Otherwise I'm guessing your GPU doesn't support a certain OpenGL feature that is used for something MCPatcher does. You could try updating the drivers for the GPU, and I'm fairly certain these are the right ones: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=17409&ProdId=2843&lang=eng . I know for an OpenGL program I was making, I couldn't run it at school unless the computers had the GPU drivers installed (Intel), which very few computers did, so this may resolve the issue. I'd also try installing Java 7 64-bit, and also not allocating so much memory to Minecraft, both of which should improve your performance. What happens when you allocate a lot of memory to Minecraft is that the memory can end up being on a section of your hard drive instead of your RAM, and the hard drive is much much slower, and can cause issues. I'd say you should need 2GB at most but I'd try 1.5GB to start, especially since your GPU probably doesn't have RAM of its own to use so it ends up using some of the RAM used for everything else on the computer.
Sorry for the long post, but I thought it would be best to explain it more in detail so it would hopefully be easier to follow for you. Good luck, and I hope I helped!

Ok, so far, my game hasn't closed itself while using the texture pack, so that's good. I am getting lag spikes every once in a while, but that could be the result of playing multiplayer. Thanks.

you know there are additional texture support based of misa's wonderful work. http://tinyurl.com/768yf27 its not tekkit though
I absolutely love this texture pack! Its incredible, very nice looking! Thank you for creating it! I run a MacBook Pro 13th Inch 2011 model, 4gb RAM and it runs perfectly! No Lag!

I don't speak computer, so I have no idea what this means, if it tells me what's wrong or not. Maybe one of you can help me?
I don't know, where can I find it?
Like I said, I'm a complete and total noob when it comes to computers. Sorry
Any way at all to fix it? I just want to enjoy this amazing texture pack without all the hassle
Thanks Misa, I didn't miss the point of the search, I just didn't know what to search for. Until I read that thread I didn't realize that I should be searching for "ctm" and not "blend". Makes a bit of a difference on the results
To bad, i really love this texture pack and used it for a long time but now i have to find a new one because i switched to tekkit because i also love to play around with that kind of stuff.
Thanks anyway for the awesome texture pack misa! (especially the bed and dispensers haha)
Ok, I did GPU-Z, and my GPU is G31/G33.
How do I update it? I don't see an option for it.
