Lol Girls, Soooo True, have WAYYYYYY Better Taste in what like things to look like. This? This is a EXCELLENT Example of my point. My point is Girls are better at making Texture Packs :3*in what things should look like***
Hi Misa. I love your texture pack and I read all FAQ's and I just want to inform you thatSonic Ether is making a GLSL mod that has dynamic shadows and will suppord bump mapping. It's coled Sonic Ether's Unbelievable Shaders. So what i'm saying is that could you place make your texture pack support bump maps. I think it would loock awsome. Thank you. You are awsome
I haven't checked since the update, but Mcpatcher's extended CTM is incompatible with bump mapping.
Misa, I love your texture pack. To me it's the perfect blend of realism, resolution and keeping with the original minecraft style. There's nothing I hate in it.
I do have a problem, though it's going to be mod related, and not your texture pack, as this problem didn't occur until today, but I thought I'd post in case anyone has a solution.
I use magic launcher, and I've added ModLoader and ReisMini Map. Now, as a result, all the leaf textures on trees have lost their transparency and are a solid block. While still playable, it's not perfect.
Also, I know you are not supporting Tekkit, but I recently found a texture pack (by Jixx) that merges your work and the Sphaxx pack (so the two are "compatable"), but all the new ores/plants/foliage are still Sphaxx design. I took the liberty of adjusting those based on your style and my rough photoshop skills. Do you mind if I make that available?
Noob question, but how do I put the texture replacer as a zip? Everytime I zip up the folder, Minecraft displays it greyed out, but if I have it unzipped, it will load all the textures just fine. Seems a tad odd to me.
I'm not going to redo many hours of hard work just to match Notch's terrible vanilla design of villagers. If I didn't emphasize this enough, I absolutely hate Notch's design for villagers.
I dislike almost all the vanilla designs in Minecraft, including the villagers, but you've managed to take those designs and upgrade them with your texture pack and make them into something really wonderful, fun, and creative. I really do appreciate the work you've done with the villager textures (and all the textures), and I understand you not wanting to throw away your work and redo them in a style you absolutely loathe.
That won't stop me from WANTING to see your take on the original design, but you shouldn't take it to mean I'm going to keep trying to get you to do it. I asked once before about it, and I asked about it now since I thought the zombie villagers meant there would be reason to revisit the textures (I know nothing about how this stuff works).
Set the graphics to "Fancy" in the video settings.
Is that all it is? Duoh. I had to reduce all my gfx settings when the server I play on upgraded, otherwise constant crashes. Must have missed that one now that the server is more stable.
Some of these realistic texture packs I find to be very, very detailed, and this one looks too detailed for me ;). Great Job Though! It looks VERY real.
I've noticed a bug with the creative GUI. The tabs at the bottom are too long. The tabs on the top get longer when they are the current tab, but the ones on the bottom are always the longer length.
Misa, have you considered posting on reddit? It may not be your cup of tea, but the developers do tend to spend actual time there and may provide feedback for your very well-founded concerns about the changes in 1.4.

Thanks again for this texture pack.

I used Optifine
If you want to go Misa's use MCPatcher, don't use Optifine
Nvm i fixed it. i just reinstalled Optifine. Optifine has more benefits than mcpatcher
