I made a simple graphic for how some colored blocks become more vibrant in mushroom biomes, which can be used for reference (Some color changes are very subtle):
Blocks shown are those included as of the version 4.1.6 texture pack and MC version 1.2.5.
Really nice, have used it for years on-off. If anyone needs the version WORKING with the most recent Optifine, PM me or if Misa allows me to post it on the thread, or even her editing her post with it, that'd be great!
Love the texture pack, but is there any way you could bring back the old brighter stone? I liked that better personally.
There are a ton of alternate textures in the alternates.png file that comes with the pack. I don't recall the actual stone texture ever being a different shade, but there is a very light stone slab in there.
I´ve said this before and im saying it again: This is the only texture pack thats make minecraft worth playing.
Hope you be able to keep track to minecraft releases, at least for every big update version. Anyway, thanks a lot for the work Misa, I really love it. Keep it up
Misa, i got an idea: what if you used your CTM wool method with logs, so they have different top textures? If you don't want, at last you can do it with birch, so the interior isn't brown.
Also, maybe the player could blink?
I have a great idea, you should also make a texture pack ( very similar to this on ) except for mo creatures! It would be amazing to see the horses look AWESOME.
Regarding the logs, only the jungle logs will have CTM as they're the only ones that naturally spawn in trunk-sizes larger than one block. Jungle logs previously were the only logs that had CTM on the sides. The only reason the logs' tops had CTM applied was because I couldn't do it just for jungle logs at the time. I wanted the other logs to remain viable as log fences for fortresses 'n' such and even worked my CTM around that fact to a degree. Now that logs can be rotated, having CTM on oak logs might produce some undesirable results for things like log cabins.
Couple this with the fact that CTM for tree rings with actual tiling is absurdly complicated to produce. I'm not even sure I'll be able to completely convert the jungle log tops into full CTM textures. (IE: Removing the old log fence compromise.) I am always looking for spots to add random texture support to though, so the other three logs may still get some love in that department--we'll see. Also I am working on generally improving the looks and functions of wooden materials in general to make up for the minor loss. For example I have added unique tops/bottoms to the spruce planks too that make for a much nicer flooring material while still making perfect physical sense.
Will this pack go to 256x or at least 128x as I really do love the texture pack but I am too used to the LB's 256x detail, but I like Misa's creativity a lot more even if its not on the realistic aspect

Already done.
It's not what he means. It's for the different colored logs.
Someone's enjoying the new rotating logs

You didn't install the HD texture fix, you need 2.4.1 or later and make sure the hd texture fix is checked when you install the mod.
(2.4.0 does NOT work with 1.3-PR)
Did you check the HD Textures box?
Get a clean Minecraft jar and try again. You obviously aren't doing something right and think you're smart enough to skip steps.
Cheers, this pack is a monster.
