I can't stop saying how good this pack is!!!! The thing I like about it is that I can actually tell what things are but in a more reallistic version... SWEET
I know Misa doesn't officially support it but has anyone made textures for Better than Wolves that fit with this texture pack. The 16x textures look...odd in my 64x world. I'll keep using it anyway though, can't live with out this.( Especially the pulsing redstone ore.)
Just wanted to know if anyone knew of textures for the above. Thanks
Is there any particular reason why the minecraftcustomizer.net page for this texture pack has been down for an indefinite amount of time? Right now I don't have any image editing software yet still wish to use some of the alternate textures.
First, sorry for my bad english
really nice texture pack. But I got some problems with MC patcher. If i tick HD Textures, HD Font, and Custom Colors an patch it then, the texture is correct, but the font is like not HD-graphic. But if I only tick the HD Font, the font will be HD, but the water-texture says, that I have to update mcpatcher...
Minecraft 1.2.4.
MCpatcher 2.3.5

You can download Paint.net for free. It's a very easy to learn program, and it recognizes transparent textures.
Misa, or anyone that might know, is it possible to animate the main menu buttons? I've been considering making a custom UI for my server, and having animated main menu buttons would be nifty. If it's not possible, it's fine. I'm just curious.
Does anyone know how to remove custom color water? Sorry Misa I love it but there is a mod that adds new water colors and only works with texture packs that don't have custom color water
Not sure if this oddity is Misa related or not. On a survival server I've noticed that when I go back into an underground region the textures will change. I had a 1x2 tunnel about 7 deep, all smooth stone. When I return I see 1 iron, 3 diamond and 2 redstone. As soon as I start to mine them they change back to smooth stone. Very Very odd. I have updated MCPatcher today. Just kind of a let down as I thought I'd passed up 3 diamond.
Still a great texture pack.
Definitely the server. There's no way a texture pack can affect how textures are assigned to things. Only how they look.

Delurking to show my love. Misa your pack just keeps getting better.
The new planks are just beautifull and works so well together. XD
Also I freaking love the hay texture I've been replacing sponge with it and giving my npcs thatch roofed cottages.
Thank you again for all you do. <3
Glad you like the pack. Also I've actually been thinking about replacing the sponge texture with that hay bale I made considering how horribly worthless sponge is now--even though it's available in creative mode for whatever reason. Was planning on holding a poll for it on my thread, but never got around to it due to being distracted by other things. I'll have to try to remember to set that up sometime soon.

Link's broken for me. D:
It's working for me and my friends in other parts of the world who I've had test the link. Not sure what more to do. Did you try one of the mirrors?

i seem to be having an issue with see through lines appearing between the blocks, so that it makes em all look like there outlined in blue or some such in the distance, how do i fix it? i did the patcher latest one, i deleted the bin and repatched, and yet its still doing =\
You may need to go into your video card's settings and disable forced anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering, and or mip-map sampling rate.

I recall granting someone permission to make supplemental textures for this mod to fit my pack. I'm not sure where they released the files off-hand but I'm sure the best place to look would be the Better Than Wolves thread with a search (this topic) for 'Misa.'

Because it is possible to animate every textuere. Will you animate leaves for example in the future?...

...I would love to see animated grass and vines in the future!
Unfortunately, due to the limitations of binary transparency, there's no way to have waving vegetation on my style of texture pack. I spent all day one day trying to get it to work and it never looked good in my opinion. It always came out jerky-looking due to the binary nature of transparency where pixels just pop in and out of air. Even after getting something finished with a good movement algorithm(which took many hours), play-testing revealed the texture's tendency to make the world seem dizzying with all the noisy movement--regardless of speed. The only good way to pull of things like waving vegetation is with a shader that bends the geometry that the textures are applied to--as it's done in most games with (semi)realistic graphics.. Actual animations with frames for this kind of thing just doesn't work well at all when partial-realism is a goal.
The only way I can see animated grass working in a pack is if it's got a retro "8-bit" or cartoony look to it.

I love your texture pack... it's the only one I will ever use
Thanks for the "donate" button... I like to reward people for their consistantly excellent work
Thanks. I like being rewarded--especially only a week from my birthday. The donations really do help with morale and keeping me on my feet. I hope to continue to live up to everyone's expectations through my work.

take a look at the ''TheKingdom'' texture pack, it used a lot of misa's textures.
and I don't think you have given permission for it.
Can you provide a link to their thread? I couldn't find a texture pack with that name using searches.

There's several really good reasons, yes. I listed them in the last response post I did. You might want to go back a couple pages and read that. If you don't have any image-editing software, that's not a problem. Paint.NET and Gimp are both free programs that'll accomplish all of the image-editing tasks you need to customize my pack. The former is more user-friendly--latter is more advanced and full-featured. Both have plenty of tutorials online.

I love the pack, but what's with the wheat? It looks diseased and rotten. Where's my golden fields of wheat?
Search this topic for 'wheat' to get all my previous responses on this. I'm honestly kinda weary of reposting my thoughts regarding wheat.

This sounds like something that needs to be posted on the MCPatcher thread. If it's a bug, Kahr needs to know about it. Otherwise, my best guess is something to do with language selection since the addition of unicode font support. Check if it works in English. If it does, then that should help Kahr troubleshoot and fix the problem if there is one.

Yes, it's possible. All the GUI stuff can have animated bits. I even animated the title screen graphic on my pack. As far as I'm aware from what Kahr told me if it's in the game and it has an editable texture, it can be animated.

Depends. I need to know exactly how the mod alters existing water textures.

Even though it's updated for 1.2.4 will it work for 1.2.3?
Yes, just ensure you're using the latest MCPatcher.
You can download Paint.net for free. It's a very easy to learn program, and it recognizes transparent textures.
Eh, I'm on a Mac and don't yet have a copy of Windows. Paint.net doesn't appear to have a Mac version and the Mac version of Gimp is non-functional. (It won't launch at all.)
I wish I still had my old copy of Photoshop. >_> I have a texture pack too, but I can't update it due to aforementioned issues.

You can try running a virtual machine and using gimp there. Virtualbox is excellent for running a vm and linux is free.
Would you consider supporting the ExtraBiomesXL mod? I know you don't generally support mods and for very good reasons. However, this is just an aesthetic mod that happens to have some extra blocks for that purpose and, of course, has extra biomes that might need customized sky colors and such. There are two versions, only one of which actually introduces new blocks. If you aren't interested in making new blocks, would you be willing to make the gradients for the extra biomes?
Hey, so I was poking around, and from version 4.1.1 to version 4.1.2 you reused the name misaflame in your animations folder to animate the torch flames. It was previously used for the blaze animation. I think you overwrote that =P Cause for the life of me I can't find the blaze animation.

I do stuff.

Its not a bug or something, the water is brow where the swamp biome is(e.g. in default minecraft textures swamp colours are green)
