More importantly here is the largest structure I have ever created. It was made by hand and was left for nearly seven months unfininished due to the restrictive build height implemented by notch at the start of minecraft. With Jens now in charge of minecraft and his implementation of the new build height I have now completed the outside of my Cathedral!
The longest ally of this Cathedral is 185 blocks long.
The shortest is about 100.
The spire reaches 100 blocks above ground level and is positioned at the center of the Cross where all four sections meet.
There are 24 Flying Buttresses attached to the main section of the Cathedral
The whole Cathedral is lit by Glowstone hidden away within the structure.
All done because Misa's Texture Pack is the best!
Here are a few Screen shots:
I looked through this guy's terrain and items.png, and it's hilarious how much of it is Misa's that he says is his own original work that he didn't steal. It's so blatantly Misa there's practically glowing neon signs....
Wow. This texture pack is amazing. I was looking for one exactly like this: Realistic, yet simple, and stone that isn't ugly as ****. And I found it! Oh, and the wood is also really sexy.
What's funny is that I actually got an FPS boost while using this. What was usually 120 became around 350. Probably because the extra graphics got the second GPU to kick in.

This is the BEST texture pack ever! you and Tobiwan have inspired me to make a 32x32 texture pack.Anyways can i have your pig and edit it for my texture pack?.You will be credited if i post the texture pack.
done all that mate. ive never had this problem before
You're still doing something wrong, then. There's no magic way that just you would have this problem. If you clean everything out and follow directions, it *will* work.
I'm not sure what my issue is, but whenever i use the MCPatcher to install the Custom Colors thing, the screen goes black when i load a map. But whenever i don't install it, i get this.
Kinda annoying, and i'm not sure how to fix this. Any ideas? All i have installed are the things needed for misa's texture pack.
OH! And i have tried installing it by using the MCPatcher to put it in, AND by just opening it in the Texture Patch option like we need to do now. All on a fresh .jar file.
Any help would be awesome. This isn't the first time installing this, but it is the first time having issues. First time had no issues at all.
The same guy is very populair with is other texture pack:
In this pack he uses some stuff from misa as well. Not 90% like in the first one, but it is clear he used stuff from misa.
People complement him on his creeperblanket on the bed etc, while it is just copied from misa. (not just the idea, the complete texture)
Very professional look. Beautiful job on the tabs and links especially. Did you hand code it or is there an editor/addon for something like LibreOffice to save in [bbcode]?
Fantastic! I love biome atmospheric diversity and sand with real souls in it.
I installed textupack on Optifine and bookshelf was not work correctly. Also Nether Brick/stairs/fense in hands looks with white colour.
But with MCPatcher it works perfect.
I'm not sure if this was a bug for my game or something but when I tried to get into the Brewing Stand everything was white and I couldn't see anything
Sounds like a memory error on your end. There are three things you can do to help alleviate this:
-Increase Java heap size in the options tab when you install MCPatcher
-Update Java.
-Update your video card/device drivers.

...I was wondering If you could add Connected Texture Mod support...
I'll add it if MCPatcher adds it. As I've said before, supporting Optifine is essentially a slap in my face.

...Is there something wrong with mc patcher or the texture pack? I've re downloaded both multiple times today and I'm going insane
There's nothing wrong with either. I'd suggest doing the following:
1-Ensure you have the very latest MCPatcher
2-Delete everything in your /.minecraft/ folder except for the /saves/, /texturepacks/, and /screenshots/ folders.
3-Run Minecraft to let it redownload all the game files.
4-Run MCPatcher and ensure everything is checked before you patch (Better Grass and Randomobs are optional.).
5-Select my latest pack in-game as usual.

...I just want to say thank you so much for undergoing something like this and really sticking with it. It's my favorite and will always be. I don't know if you creators really hear just a genuine 'thanks' near enough.
Expressions of gratitude and support are always greatly appreciated. And yeah, it is a lot of work, but you can expect me to continue to update for as long as Minecraft and MCPatcher does.

water in the cauldron appears to be gray now? :/
It shouldn't. It's properly colored for me. Ensure you're using the latest MCPatcher and Custom Colors is ticked.

Very nice! The time spent on it definitely shows. I especially liked that even flying buttresses were incredibly detailed. Great job.

I reported him. I suggest others do the same. Link to this thread as proof when you do it.
Let's not gang up on this person, please. They contacted me and a large portion of this was due to a mistake which we've cleared up. They now have my permission and should be crediting me for my work.

Why didn't I think of that? I know a few people who have also claimed that my pack increased their FPS without Optifine and were confused by it. That probably would explain it though.

Please take requests of this nature to PM. I need to be able to keep track of who I've given permission to should I need to defend them against anyone challenging the legality of their usage of my work.

I've had a go at porting your texturepack onto the pocket edition Misa and i want to know what you think: Texturepack ports
I included a link to your texturepack and all credits. Its halfway down the first post i believe.
That's fine so long as you don't start taking money for it or anything.

anyone can say me how i restore the old red nether brick fence?
i hate the new dark grey fence :-/
Scroll back a few pages. I already responded with two ways of doing this. Also I'm kinda amazed anyone prefered the burgundy fences... I honestly cannot think of a single use for them that wouldn't be better suited for either wood fences or fences resembling wrought iron. Even a google image search for "burgundy fence" yields nothing all that relevant. If you don't mind me asking, what do you use the burgundy fences for exactly? I'm genuinely curious.

Make sure to delete the properties file too.
Yikes! Never do that--that'd break the whole pack! And then they'd be complaining about grey water 'n' such.

Sounds like a memory issue or dirty installation. See the previous two responses I made on this post for how to fully clean your installation and improve memory usage.

dear Misa.. this doesnt really look right.. is this a bug of your texture pack or mcpacter?...
MCPatcher likely. Be sure to post it over on that thread in case it's a bug that Kahr needs to address. If this was just on the Test mode of MCPatcher, I wouldn't worry about it.

For version control reasons, I'm afraid I need to know why exactly.

Very professional look. Beautiful job on the tabs and links especially. Did you hand code it or is there an editor/addon for something like LibreOffice to save in [bbcode]?
Hand-coded. The tabs were thrown together and uploaded in a few minutes on the graphics editors I primarily use to work on the pack (Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9 and MS Paint (98)). Everything else is a carryover from my BB code on the old forums.
Okay, now time for me to go to bed. I'm thinking about putting out an update out tomorrow. I added blinking eyes to all pet wolves, tamed cats, and chickens so far--as well as added some animation to a few other mobs. I also have a couple other nifty effects that make use of the new 'custom animated everything' feature which I had prior to last release, but couldn't include since MCPatcher hadn't updated yet.
I can either release what I have tomorrow or try to finish blinking eyes for cows, sheep, and pigs first. Let me know what you think. Should I release what I have tomorrow (Today?/Thursday afternoon Pacific Time) or wait until I've finished the blinking eyes of the other farm animals?

The old version is in the alternates.png file, which you can copy/paste onto your terrain via a program like paint.net
