I hate the forum's front page more for making such a big deal out of snapshots so that every average person expects the snapshot to be the standard version everyone should be running. It'd be nice if they weren't announced and y'know just out there for mod developers to test and use to adapt their mods. This way we can update quickly when the official version is released to the game's patcher.
It's a lot easier for Mojang to create new content from scratch each week than it is for mods to update for the new content each week.
I think the community just makes too big of a deal and expects too much out of these experimental builds. They're made for testing purposes. If you want to actually play the game with the new features and have all your mods working, you should just wait for the official releases like everyone else who doesn't regularly follow the forums/game development.
Anyway, if you've grabbed the redstone lamp files I posted recently (Scroll back to my last post if you haven't), there's no NEED for an update. There's a new mob. That's it. The pack won't stop working just because it's not yet skinned.
I just wanted to drop a for you, and give my thanks for all the beautiful work you do. I've gone through so many packs over the past year, trying to find the one best suited for me, and yours has been the one I've loved the most.
Your green bed though... I used a clone stamp in paint.net to edit out the creeper face >.>. My poor character had nightmares the first time she slept on that bed, so she asked me to make the 'splody monster go away.
Also, I replaced your art file with the one from Ornate, because it has gorgeous tapestries that compliment your pack amazingly well.
I appreciate you, and the fact that you continuously devote so much time and effort providing a piece of art for the Minecraft community.
Blessings,
Maiavel
Edit:
Out of curiosity, does anyone know why Spout does this to Misa's clouds? Everything else about this pack works fine with Spout.
Double Edit: Nevermind, turning off 'Fancy Clouds' in the options makes everything better!

If you go back and check previous posts there have already been multiple comments on these subjects.
She'll update when she's darn good and ready to.
She's already got an Iron Golem texture that she's working on.
Why do your skys look so much better in the screenshots than in my game?
Exactly how are they better?
BTW, I'm looking forward to test out Misa's iron golem textures. Looking good in the screen-shot. I hope they don't... cough... change its head to a freaking pumpkin, like its frosty cousin.
I think everyone is, and I can't imagine the amount of "PLZ UPDATE" this will get with 1.2 coming out tomorrow
They are already asking to update to 1.2 in threads and it isn't even released yet. Makes you want to beat a parent or 2 for not teaching their children any sort of self control and patience.....
Anyway, the pack's been updated. Be sure to check out the patch notes/changelog to see all the new features added beyond just the 1.2 update stuff. Also expect a second update to be coming out sometime soon to support some upcoming features provided in MCPatcher. I had hoped to get in one more farmer randomob alt before today's release, but I guess I can throw him in there later along with some others.
Regarding that, I'm open for some reasonable suggestions for randomob alts on villagers. Just keep in mind that I've got a theme going with them where they're easily identifiable by some shared characteristics like clothing and hats. Faces and colorings I'm open to suggestions on though.
Reposting because I hate getting stuck as the last post on a page that everyone ignores.

How do the Skies on your pic are so "realer" than in my game?
Grab the latest MCPatcher and ensure custom colors is checked.
Okay, I updated the thread's formatting a bit and added a new color-coded tab system since horizontal rules are no longer allowed and instead of making art for them I decided actual labels would be more appropriate. Be sure to let me know if you find any formatting errors I missed.
The screenshots are still a bit outdated, but I'll try to at least update the terrain.png and items.png shots sometime this week.

Yeah they really screwed up the forums. On the up side they seem much faster now.....
