I like the general look and feel of this texture pack, but I do not wish to install mods or third party applications. Is there a version that requires no mods or special installation whatsoever (just drag and drop the zip into a folder)? I just don't want to go to all the hassle and don't really need a 64x64 (16x16 is fine to me).
Hate to break it to you but there is no such thing as a high resolution pack that you can install without a third party mod. Minecraft does not fully support texture packs above 16x16 (And possibly 32x32).
All you need to get all the features in my pack (Let alone use ANY High-res pack...) is a SINGLE mod--MCPatcher. It's one file that you run, check some boxes on, then click 'Patch' on, and you're done. I've provided simple-to-follow instructions on the main thread for ensuring fool-proof installation of my pack.

The pack looks the way it does *because* it's 64x64. You are asking for contradictory and impossible things.
Do misunderstood me. I meant that I like the theming of the blocks and stuff. I don't need high-res. For example, I like the shade of the grass.
With only 16x16, that same theming becomes really hard to do. It just won't look the same.
If you want custom grass colors, you could just copy grasscolor.png from Misa's pack and put it in the Minecraft jar file. That will work without patching tools.

You could always lower the resolution yourself. Its neither hard nor work intensive to do. Whether this is okay with Misa or not I have no clue, though the fact that she has the alternates.png in the zip file leads me to believe that it is. I suppose that it is likely that there will be some "issues" with water and lava though.
Hi Misa, i love your pack it is the one i use from 1.6.6 beta and i love it but i'm here to suggest a 128x pack i think it would be awesome and it would give more attraction to your pack you are a masterpiece so why you do not create a higher resolution than 64x.
thank you for your work Misa and please accept my best wishes
What's with all the requests for higher resolution lately? Personally I think it looks awesome @64. People should appreciate it for what it is. Not what it's not. Plus, I love the throw back feel to nintendo64.
Installed your new texture pack and the game crashed when I started a new world.

Sorry if I posted it here, but I want to make sure it's not this texture pack as when I remove it, I don't get the error.
Testing one by one my mods, and you're not the cause. Sorry to accuse you. Carry on.
I have a question about this texture pack.I understand that you need to install a mod for it to work. Will installing the mod and using this texture pack screw up my multiplayer server in any way? Will people without this mod be able to connect without problems?
You don't need anything else for it to work. Some people like HD graphics and install mods for it. Just place this texture pack into the texture pack folder and it will work.

Life is a Learning Curve.... Unfortunately, you're stuck on the bottom...amongst the bones of the stupid.
Wait a minute... you lost me. I have been continuously told I need to install a mod for this texture pack to work, an you are telling me that I don't? That I can just treat it like a 16x16 texture pack?
All you have to run is MC Patcher. It's not a mod. I've just tested everything because I had a problem and I had this installed AND was using MC Patcher to get HD Textures.

I've never installed an HD texture pack before, so could someone tell me step-by-step how to install this one?
1) Download MC Patcher and Misa's Texture Pack.
2) Place Misa's Texture Pack into texturepack Folder.
3) Run MC Patcher and hit patch.
4) ?????
5) Profit.

I'm not a modder, so this will probably be a stupid question, but I'd like to use custom sky colors, like yours (How they change in different biomes), but I am not sure how I should go about making that type of thing. Does MCPatcher just create some kind of directory folder when you enable custom colors or is there actual coding involved? Your pack is the only one I know of that has a changing sky, so I assume it takes a lot more work than just editing a file like the grass overlay in a image program? I can draw, but I can't code, you see.

If you say "plz" because it's shorter than "Please," I'll say "No" because it's shorter than "Yes."
Is the swamp water supposed to be partially brown? It has no text on the brown water, and it is in a swamp(Quite obviously). I just want to know: Is swamp water supposed to be partially brown in this pack?
Are my swamp trees supposed to be purple? In the OP they look green.
I'm using MC version 1.1 Misa404 and Optifine. I reread the OP and looked through the last five pages and didn't see any mention of purple trees. Are the swamp trees supposed to be like this? Or did I miss something?

1. Make animations for the ALTERNATES.png
2. Put an enchantment table in the ALTERNATES.png (for the obsidian)
Check out my youtube channel. I'm Zombieman326 on youtube as well.
