I have a problem with the steps before installing the pack: when I type %appdata%/.minecraft/, no folder will open. What should I do to have this folder?
If you are playing Minecraft you have that folder. That's where minecraft is. That shortcut will only work on Windows though. Are you using a Mac?
Misa i have a problem, when i tame the wolves it ok, i leave them in my house and then do sth else. But when i try to make them stand up i cant, they wont obey me, please a little help here? :/

PS: I'm sorry if my English is a bit bad ...
An easy way to find the .minecraft folder without any hassle is to open up minecraft, go to the texture pack selection page, and open the texture pack folder. Then just back track and viola. Everything you need.
Ive heard some people say their app data folder is hidden, so this could be your problem.
would it be possible for you to make this pack in 128x128 format? because i love this pack, and i (along with many others) would love for this pack to be in 128x128. :smile.gif:

As Misa said in the very first post:
Q: Will you make the pack resolution higher than 64x64?
A: Not with the pack in its current state. Possibly when mipmaps are adequately supported by the game. As it is though, my attempts at this have produced undesirable results. Namely HORRIBLY grainy distant textures and atrocious performance issues with the shader maps.
You need the latest MCPatcher. And you can't use OptiFine.
You can use OptiFine. You just have to deselect HD Texture, HD Font and Better Grass support in MCPatcher and then add OptiFine as a mod with the + button. That's what I use and it works great.
This texture pack is bar none, the best! I only wish it would incorporate the Mo'Creatures mod. I know that takes lots of work but I can always hope for the best!
i find it hard to find good texture packs as i either like hi res ones but not over 64x or steampunk and most packs are simple and not within those with the exception of lb photorealism so i'd like to say great job on the pack misa and keep up the great work :wink.gif: s and s to you
I don't know if it a feature or not so here I go :
My temporary base is underground and even though there are a LOT of torches, I can barely see. Well I can't play on moody anymore and absolutely have to set the brightness on 20% to see a bit.
I mean, I can see what I do, but the light is very subdued (don't know if it the correct word ^^). It's kind of strange.
Thanks for the answers ;-)
Nothing to do with any texture pack. Minecraft now brings fog in closer the further down you are - near bedrock you'll have a view distance of about 8-10 blocks.
The texture pack's been updated to support the latest 1.1.0 snapshot as well as a ton of new visual features introduced in the latest MCPatcher. YOU WILL NEED THE LATEST MCPATCHER TO AVOID VISUAL PROBLEMS LIKE GREY WATER.
I did this and everything else I could think of, yet I still get grey water. What gives? I'm certain that I'm using the latest MCPatcher (2.3.0_01) and your latest pack (401). I completely uninstalled Minecraft, re-downloaded everything, ran MCPatcher, placed your texture pack in my texture pack folder, I didn't install any other mods, and still grey water. Help?
