Misa, I'm calling you out here. I was fine with you at first, but I got a little suspicious when you added those custom animations to things that weren't animated. Now, with these biome palettes on sand and gravel and ****, it's become painfully obvious that you're a witch. Don't worry; if you're not a witch, being burned at the stake will just send you to heaven, and we can apologize to you when we get there.
For CraftHammer, an RP Server, they have a custom texture pack, with things mixed and matched with other texture packs. I just wanted to know where the human mob was from. So if this is yours,
(snipped image)
Please let me know. I was hoping you could make my skin into that style?
*copies and pastes the solid black image into my image editor and lightens it up* Nope, not mine. No idea where it's from.

(Completely Off Topic) But is there any way we could customize the torch light so its not purple? I would just like to change it to more orange like color.
That is anything but off-topic. Also the torch light has no purple in it at all. There is some orangish red in the darker ends so that the redstone torches give off red light. The purple you're seeing is due to the darker ends of the torch light blending with night ambient light. It shouldn't be as noticeable if you're playing on the Moody setting (Which the lightmaps were optimized for). I've said all of this before and probably explained it in more detail around the time I released this latest patch. I also mentioned that the light maps are still a work in progress and will likely be desaturated a bit by the next patch. And as I've also said before, if you don't want the lighting for now, it's a simple matter of just opening the pack's zip file, going into the environment folder and deleting the lightmap pngs.

I'm a pyro witch. Burning me will only recharge my mana pool and buff my concentration for a little bit.
Minor Announcement: I'm not going to be checking the forums much until after the new year to catch up on some much needed rest. I may answer PM's regarding permission for usage of my work once in awhile. Have a happy holiday and see you next year!
I just downloaded the pack(my first texture pack) and I have to say it is awesome!
Though I only have one iffy about it... I'm finding myself having to use twice as many torches just to see because of the dark red glow they give off near the edges...
I can normally get away with only one in a small shaft with the default texture, but with this one I've been needing three or more and I have it set to it's brightest setting...
Is there anyway I can get rid of that red glow from the torches or maybe a way to just reset the lighting back to the original?
I love the textures, but the lighting is just making it hard for me to play (^^')
(edit)
Read the post above... but I tried deleting those .png files and all I got was an error... so I tried clearing them to transparent and there is still that red glow :/
Maybe it could be because I'm using the MCPatcher to use the texture?
(edit2)
Ffff! Took awhile, but I did manage to get it to turn off the lighting... it seems using MCPatcher to use the textures through isn't a good idea if you want to try and edit them in any way, lol...

Awesome!!! I definitely downloading this texture pack. You rock Misa! Keep up the good work! ow wait...let mi give you some.... INFINITE . and also a nice pet that you can have
I am still having a problem. I used the latest MCPatcher but my water is still gray. Could mods have anything to do with it? I'm currently using IC2, BC, Forestry, and Railcraft. Thank you.
Hi,
at first thanks for this awesome pack, but there is one thing, I saw, which is strange.
Didn't read all the nearly 200 sides, so I don't know, if it's already told:
Zombies with the skin, wearing a pumkin (is it spelled like that?) wear it the wrong way, so the pumkin's "face" is on the back.
Is it right or just a mistake?
Greetings
I looked through the skins for the zombies, and I only see one when the pumpkins face is on the back side. Zombie39. If you don't like that you can just delete that one, but remember to rename zombie40 to 39 then.
Alternatively, you can open it with pain.net or something, and just trade the front and back of the pumpkin. You might also want to erase the hair from the mouth and eyes.

If any of those mods are changing any of the base class files that is also being patched by mcpatcher then that can cause a problem. Best way to avoid that is using mods that are modloader compatible.
I have one other point of criticism (don't get me wrong I still love this pack) but the water is extremely hard to see through. The original water texture isn't quite as bad, but if you're trying to see something from the surface it's almost impossible with this texture pack. You have to go underwater and if you're digging in a shallow pool that's not always possible. It also means ores just slightly under the water's surface might get missed unless you stop the flow of all the water you find in caves whereas they're visible in the original water texture.
I guess I never thought about it since I usually just stop all the water. But yeah you are right about not being able to see through it. Think of it as playing on normal instead of easy. :smile.gif:
I really love this pack, but hate the fact it relies on the latest MCPatcher. MCPatcher breaks way too much for it to be worth it atm [an example is it breaks the selection square used to place sub-blocks in RedPower World]

I use MCPatcher and RP2 PR4b with this pack and the placement graphics work just fine.
Thank you Misa for this beautiful texture pack. I've been using it for a long time.
After some updates I did, I noticed chests small and big don't match to other blocks in height. I did use the latest Mcpatcher and did many installation to fix the problem. but still all the chests I planted in the ground are lower then surrounding blocks and have black shadow over them. My house is a mass.

This is a model change done by Mojang AB. Chests also have an opening animation now, too.
The shadow is a result of a change to the lighting engine. You can force an update by placing a torch next to each chest, then removing it.
Why whenever I put my pumpkin as my helmet, I get a white screen! and when i take it off it just look normal, can someone help me? becuz i want to fight the enderdragon in the end so, i need to wear that pumpkin helmet

The biome coloring requires mcpatcher
If you skim back through the past few pages of post this has been answered in detail.
