I think I have a problem, my water appears white. Is it supposed to be like that, or did I do something wrong installing it? PLEASE HELP I want to use the pack so bad!!
If it looks like the first one, download and run the latest MCpatcher
BTW: Misa, lovin' the new biome colors, is it just me, or is the sunset much more orange now?
EDIT: a few obvious bugs, I dont know whether its you or Kahr, but the bottom of water is grey (as in, if the water is flowing downwards on top of you, its grey) and torches give off red light.
Let me spell it out then, since you apparently can't fathom it. Person A creates a feature. Person B copies it (and I am not talking re-implementing it, I am talking lifts the code) and puts it into his mod. This happens enough and Person A might conceivably lose interest in creating new features, and who is person B going to lift them from then?
Why would this happen, you wonder? Look at all the people begging for optifine support in here. Among them are more than a few who are using it instead of HD Patcher because, hey, optifine does everything it does! Well, it doesn't do the animations yet, but soon, just as soon as they can get it decompiled. Kahr may be altruistic enough to not care, but it would bother me if some other mod lifted features and used them to pull users away from my mod. It would annoy me even more if they had a white knight contingent acting all amazed that I didn't like it.
Okay, I didn't know that OptiFine was actually stealing *code*, as opposed to feature ideas. If they are taking code, then that's bad bad bad, no doubt about it. Maybe Misa didn't make that clear, so I thought she was just upset that there was another mod providing similar features.

I used optifine and used this pack but i dont really have any issues(nothing inside the first pic)
edit;ok,i have abit problem, grass sides looks like it have better grass(in mcpatcher,i crossed out every mod execpt for randomobs and colour mod, which i allow the patcher to do),i have a headless zombie
I should weigh in on the whole Optifine vs. MCPatcher thing before it gets out of hand. I hope this will put the issue to rest rather than take Misa's thread even further astray. Skip the next two paragraphs if you want the short version.
It is highly unlikely that Optifine has lifted any actual code from MCPatcher. Simply from the way MCPatcher works, it just wouldn't make any sense. For you programmers out there, MCPatcher's complexity is in its ability to automatically deobfuscate and patch Minecraft classes via pattern matching. MCPatcher is, at its core, a specialized regular expression engine wrapped around the Javassist library. If you don't know what that means, let's just say it's how the same MCPatcher can work with pretty much any version of the game, even future releases.
MCPatcher's unique abilities simply aren't needed if all you are doing is distributing entire class files for one and only one version of Minecraft at a time. So all that leaves for someone to copy is the actual changes that MCPatcher makes to the class files. But frankly those are pretty mundane and not even worth "stealing." If you have MCP set up, decompile a patched minecraft.jar and compare it with the original. The differences are dictated by necessity. A whole bunch of "while (i < 16)" are replaced by "while (i < tileSize)", for instance. Any HD texture implementation -- even one by Jeb himself -- is going to have to do that. About the only decision the programmer gets to make is what to call the "tileSize" variable and where to put it.
tldr, I don't see anything unethical with mods reimplementing each others features. Optifine will always, due to its nature, be able to make deeper changes to the game's rendering engine like multithreading and anti-aliasing. And MCPatcher will always, due to its nature, be up to date immediately after a new Minecraft release. The best part is that players don't have to choose one over the other. Simply add Optifine using the + button in MCPatcher, then uncheck HD Textures, HD Font, and Better Grass. Leave Random Mobs and Custom Colors checked. Then you can have the unique features of both.

Do you think that Misa's complaints again OptiFine are valid? Do you feel that they are unfairly duplicating your work, even if they aren't actually lifting code?
I really like MCPatcher, you've done a great job. I also like the things OptiFine can do, not just the performance tweaks. It saddens me that two mods that really make Minecraft a great game without changing the core gameplay or adding a bunch of stupid blocks are potentially at odds with each other, or make folks like Misa (who produces, bar-none, the best texture pack out there) feel that people are being taken advantage of. Have you ever talked to the OptiFine folks about working together, merging their work into MCPatcher or vice-versa?
EDIT: I'm really not trying to paint anyone in an unfair light here, certainly not Misa. I just want to get a sense of the real situation and make sure that I'm not supporting people who really are doing bad things.

Better grass is auto included in optifine. Delete acr.class.
There is plenty I have to say in defense of my position but am holding my tongue on in the hopes that this business about Optifine would just die already. No one else has anything to say on the validity my views if only a single component of them is being addressed. Rather than elaborating here and potentially starting a flamewar, I'm just going to stay publicly quiet on the matter. If you absolutely must debate on the issue, don't use this thread as the platform—take it to PM. This thread is for discussion about the texture pack. I will not further publicly respond on the matter. I'd suggest for the sake of peace that everyone else does the same.

Misa asked for no further discussion on the issue in her thread.
For CraftHammer, an RP Server, they have a custom texture pack, with things mixed and matched with other texture packs. I just wanted to know where the human mob was from. So if this is yours,
Please let me know. I was hoping you could make my skin into that style?
