I JUST installed the pack and put it into the textures folder, but I don't get to see it because Minecraft keeps crashing at the Mojand Productions screen Why is this?
I followed your instructions carefully, but when it came time to either dragging or copy and pasting your textures into the minecraft.jar, it wouldn't let me. I'm using 7zip.
EDIT: you can just run the patcher and then paste the zip in the texture packs folder. Sorry for my foolishness
great pack

I use Winrar for that. The version of 7zip I have also doesn't support drag-and-drop. Maybe a more updated version might.
Minor secondary update! I've added alternate biome color maps to the downloads section. These will make grass and trees primarily green with smoother transisitions.
This will not be as realistic or varied as the default, but will be useful for those who do not want big brown and grey patches on their older maps and just like having green vegetation with some slight variance.
you're too good to us. It's awesome to see you catering to the people who want things just a little different. As long as it doesn't burn you out, it's awesome of you to do that.
I really love this texture pack. I tried it out a few weeks ago but the watch wasn't working at the time and I love the watch. Now that the watches are working i'm very, very happy.
So far my only complaint is that the stone pickaxes look like stone hoes in the inventory screen.
As you can see the pickaxe is on the leftside and the hoe on the right. Very difficult to quickly tell them apart. They look fine in the darker quickslots on the bottom. So maybe make all the inventory boxes a little darker?
Just a tiny annoyance with me, but I love everything else!
In your install guide, you say we need to drag the files into the jar. folder after we run the patcher. I forgot to do this the last time, but the game runs just fine. Everything from your textures are still there. I just wonder if I`m missing out on some detail or anything else without replacing the files in the jar?

No Problem! As I'm near the "final completion" of this pack, I'm running out of things to fix. So I figure it's probably a good idea to support alternate options people have requested. So I'm definitely looking forward to feedback. I still probably won't support mods that alter gameplay. I WILL support mods that only enhance graphics though if I can be convinced that it's something I should be using myself. BetterGlass and MrMMod's are currently the two mods I use.

Doh! I guess I'll have to either revert some of the UI changes or lighten or darken the stone tools by next patch.

You might be missing a few things. Last time I tested it was with an older version of MCPatcher and I was missing some of the things like animated liquids, particles, signs, minecarts, Biome colors, the pumpkin face effect when worn on your head... Some other minor things. I think MCPatcher now supports the animated liquids by default, so it may also support most of my other stuff through the patcher now. I suggest a manual install just to be safe though. And my patch will definitely be missing a lot of stuff if you use the in-game texture pack selector.

Everything is pure amazing, but how do you get your grass on the sides of the blocks? Also, the SimpleGrass thing isn't working for me.
To get grass on the side of the blocks, after you've installed my texture pack, you'll need to install MrMMod's (linked in the main post) And check "BetterGrass" and "Ambient Occlusion" when running that patcher. As for the simpler biome installation, ensure that 'foliagecolor.png' and 'grasscolor.png' end up inside the 'misc' folder in your minecraft.jar. There will still be some mild variation in color, but for the most part everything will be much greener.
Thanks to everyone else who has shown support and/or provided valuable feedback for improving the pack! As mentioned before, I'm still looking to improve the pack for those who customize their terrain.png by providing some "hidden" resources. If there's anything in particular you'd like to see, lemme know.
And before a bunch of people ask, unfortunately there's no way for me to redo the portal animation yet. However, I'll be all over that as soon as a way is found.
Hi I got it to work it is awesome but could u release a second one that makes redstonedust look like pipes plz it would look really good in my building

Nightmares torment me. I can no longer resist the call of the infinite. Their blows rain heavy. My wraithbone cracks. My sight in this world dims. I return to slumber. My soulstone, please take it. Save...the others
I love this pack 99% But the only thing that bugs me is the diamond ore. Its not very visible and its all in one clump. It needs to be in pieces like but realistic. Thanks for the pack :smile.gif:
This pack looks phenomenal. Great attention to detail, and everything meshes very well. Oddly enough this pack reminds me of an old game called Might & Magic: World Of Xeen. Similar art style, and very nicely executed.
I have only a few issues:
1) Biome shades work, but occasionally there are vast stretches where the grass look almost completely devoid of color and it feels as though I'm walking through black and white Pleasantville
2) The brick could probably have a richer shade of red. Looks a bit too faded
3) The gravel texture seems to lack definition and looks largely indistinguishable. Maybe a darker texture that incorporates pebbles/small rocks etc would look better.
4) For some reason I keep getting bright pixels on the edges of tiled water, as if its clipping somehow. Not sure what the cause is. Also, the moving water seems to animate far too quickly such that it appears like a blur. My apologies if this issue has cropped up and has been answered before.
Incredible changes from the last time I checked out this pack. Been working on a server assistant for minecraft which should be releasing (beta) some time this week.
The lava looks amazing, by the way and so does the still water. All that's left, in my opinion, is the running water. It's running even faster then the 1.03 version and looks "cheesy".
All in all, an amazing gorgeous pack that has more then earned it's place on minecraft as an official texture pack. I hope notch, during beta, starts compiling a list of these packs and makes them an official staple on the minecraft website. Your work is just too good to go unnoticed.
i know my english is not really good and I think my message is in the good place because i put it in beta survival and i can put font whenever i whant i did not done that post for getting hate but for getting feedback
Don't worry, it's hotlinked, so no timer or anything.

Temporary download for Misa's pack until she gets it fixed: http://hotfile.com/dl/84489509/e8467b4/ ... 5.zip.htmlMisa has updated her files, so there is no more need for this link.
