First of all, this isn't trying to be negative at all. It's just criticism. I do not like the lava textures in this pack. I have no idea what lava looks like in the real world, as I do not live by any active volcanoes . However, I do like the water texture. I would think that the lava texture could be a little less (I don't know how to say it) line-y and be more like DokuCraft's lava. I think that the rock things in Doku's magma is really nice. Just a suggestion! bye!
Doku's lava is unrealistic. Mine is a realistic depiction of lava at the median state between magma and an outdoor lavaflow. As this is a realistic pack, I likely won't be changing it. Animations take a lot of work to begin with, so they're something I do my best to get right the first time. Personally I think my lava is about as perfect as I'll be able to get it without straying out of the territory of realism.

...I have a little request to you. It would be very nice if you could support the Connected Texture Mod. I know it is a lot of work making the texture file for this, because I made one some time ago for your texture pack for my own use.
Typically I only support mods I plan on using. As it is, I've had issues installing this on the version of the game I've been playing so, until Minecraft is officially released and an official Modding API is out, my support of mods will likely dwindle. Fortunately MCPatcher, which my pack requires, seems to be growing in visual features. I'd recommend suggesting that this mod be added to MCPatcher on Kahr's thread. For now though, I'm a bit too busy working on improving and updating the pack in other areas to deal with mods.

Do you think you can create an alternate skin for the Villagers (farmer/priests) WITH the noses and the long heads? I know this sounds weird but I think I like them better with them.
Mob skins are nothing you can just quickly throw together as an alt. The only alt mob skins I do are for Randomobs (Things I'll actually use, myself.). As for the default look of villagers, this aims to be a realistic texture pack, It's not easy to draw a blocky-nose realistically. Personally, I think the big nose, long head look is horribly ugly and unrealistic for a human mob. I'm already still kinda upset about how the arms are handled.

I wanted to ask you when I want to edit a texture like the glowstone in my case... I open photoshop, edit the terrain.png, save it and zip the pack again. Problem is that I can't us it (it looks grey in menu)... The normal version works fine but when I want to replace some texture with the alternative one the pack isn't working anymore.
Have I done something wrong?
I have no idea. I don't use Photoshop, I don't know your saving parameters, I don't know your Operating system, I don't know how you're placing textures in a pack, etc. Not enough information to help, sorry.

...My suggestion for the dragon would be to make it somewhat etheral, black and purple. I'd go for a semi-transparent Wings, and claws and such, and the main part as full opaque. If possible I'd try to make it look like it has some sort of aura around it too. My impression of it is similar to the Nether Drakes from WC3 (http://classic.battl...netherdrake.gif).
I think it might add a bit more Ender to it, and make it seem a bit more creepy like things from the Ender seem to be meant to be.
I think you may greatly overestimate what is possible through texture editing. It would be impossible to make anything semi-transparent, let alone any kind of particle-based aura effects just through editing the dragon's texture. Also being a realistic pack, I need to stick to a theme, and I already have a direction I'm going with the End. Currently all textures associated with the End and Endermen have been influenced by the works of H.R. Giger. I plan on sticking to this theme. For red dragons, I'll be going with something more traditional and reptilian.

I play on a tv screen that's roughly 5 feet away from me, and have trouble seeing icons in my inventory sometimes. For example, pickaxes are quite difficult to make out. Maybe add an option in downloads for brighter/bigger inventory icons or something? Just a suggestion that you don't need to follow, as the pack is great already!
This used to be a problem a long time ago, I've altered the GUI and items so many times that it's really hard to find a more working setup than I have at the moment. Sufficed to say it's probably as good as I'll be able to get it without negatively impacting the quality of the GUI or the items. With the introduction of mouseovers, I think a lot of this old issue is solved anyway. I'd reccomend tweaking the gamma, brightness, and contrast settings on your screen as well.

Is it still missing textures or anything for 1.9 pre4?
It says, [1.9pre4] in my thread title, so no. No missing textures will be enountered. The dragons won't have a high res skin yet, but they'll still have textures. Seeing as how they're not encounter-able outside of mods/hacks though, this doesn't matter much anyway.

Hey Misa, are there any alternate Netherbrick textures you tried/considered? It looks too much like Netherrack at a distance, making it hard to spot structures against the rest of the Nether. (Harder than it is in vanilla)
I just darkened the default version instead. It's on the latest version of the pack as of this response post.

Could the red bed (alternate texture) become the default bed texture, please? It looks much better than the green bed IMO and it is more vanilla-looking.
While my pack sticks close to vanilla's design of things, this isn't Misa's 64x64 Vanilla pack. The creeper faces (hidden and obvious) all over my work is somewhat of a trademark. This would be either the first or second comment I've recieved about the bed that wasn't about how awesome the creeper blanket was, so from my point of view, the creeper bed is the clearly more popular choice as well. (The design itself has also spawned a ton of imitations of my bed in other texture packs.) I provided a vanilla-looking alt and an easily recolorable alt (using hue mapping) without any prompting. That should be good enough for the minority of users of my pack who do not like the creeper bed.

Not that I couldn't use the money, but it's probably better if you can still eat and pay your own bills. Also would it be fine if I put your video on my main thread? may i ask for another texture for wheat. right now is hard to see where i placed the seeds and also the grow grain looks too much like some sticks.
Wheat is an annoying thing to do with all the stages, as it is I'm fairly satisfied with how it is, and its growth is fairly realistic. I may redo it later at some point, but at this point making a new one just as an alt is too much work. It'd all be a hell of a lot easier if Minecraft supported full alpha transparency.

Could I request a autumn version of this? I know its alot to ask but I love fall colors.
I'm not touching biome code with a 10 foot pole until there's some science out there to explain how the current biome color placement works.
Here are some ideas: using the animated textures, you could have the grass, wheat, flowers, saplings, and leaves (both trees and sugar cane leaves) appear to sway as if there was a breeze! Instead of glowing gems on the jukebox you could have the record spinning. Ores could sparkle or shine (faintly as to not make them too easy to spot in the dark). And maybe add an animation to the sand that makes it look like a bit of sand it being lightly blown over the top!
Oh, and keep up the beautiful work.
I spent all day yesterday trying to add a realistic waving motion to grass, wheat, flowers, etc. My results in the end were a dismal failure. At this point I really have no idea how to realistically animate things with binary transparency without it looking like a mess of jarring, flickering pixels. So yeah, I'm somewhat disheartened to say that animated vegetation will likely have to wait for advanced shader support.
As far as the Jukebox goes, I had several options (all of which I'd still want to include the glowing diamonds):
1.Stationary turntable.
2.Rotating turntable.
3.Stationary loaded record
4.Rotating loaded record.
I ultimately decided on number 1. The others had too many consistency problems. 2 wouldn't work at all because it'd make no sense, a turntable wouldn't be turning without a record loaded and the needle in the on position, 3 and 4 could work, but problem is, which record art do I go with? And if you had no records loaded or playing, it wouldn't make much sense. The safest compromise seemed to be to just leave it as it's been, an empty, non-moving turntable. A mod that made the art change depending on whether or not a record was playing in it would be nice, especially if it varied for each new record type you put in. But yeah, at this point, that's not a reality.
Ores, and metallic/crystaline ore blocks I definitely would like to do something with. I'd like to make a smooth and subtle sparkling/shiny animation that I can reuse for them in conjunction with some unique effects per-block. That animation itself will be somewhat tedious to create so it'll probably take awhile to finish it, but yeah, should look good in the end.
Sand, I probably won't be touching for one main reason. I don't want to alter too many common natural and building materials to avoid making the world seem dizzying from all the constant movement. Also it'd look weird if sand was placed indoors or used as walls and had that blowing dust animation over top of it.

That counter doesn't go by my version number, it goes by how many updates I've made to the pack since the pre-release. I should probably just remove it altogether to avoid confusion.
I love the H.R. Giger theme, Misa; always loved the look of the Xenomorphs and I JUST now realized why I love your Endermen so much.
Something I WAS thinking of is using animated textures to make the Slimes and Magma Cube textures writhe/wiggle/flow realistically. However, I am under the strong impression that animated textures for mobs currently do not exist, so I figure this isn't possible. I thought I'd run the idea by you, though, in case it interests you in anyway.
I also had a request; I use this alternate texture for the Obsidian, but there exists no alternate texture for the Enchantment Table with this obsidian. It's a bit odd seeing both in a game. I personally am able to easily Photoshop the different texture onto the table, BUT I thought you might be interested in making an official alternate texture which uses the alternate Obsidian.

Couldn't just pretend that a magical pattern was carved into it? Personally I don't like how it came out using the same process/rig. But it's better than nothing, I guess.
And yes, only the items.png and terrain.png can be animated. Animated mobs... That'd be a terrifying process... I'm just imagining how massive the pngs would be. And then there's all my randomobs.. If I wanted to make the farm animals blink their eyes or something.
Brilliant pack, but I won't waste your time with compliments. There are two things I think are wrong with this pack:
1: The Glow Stone blocks don't transition between each other smoothly, there is a definite cut off line.
2: Zombie32.png looks more like a creeper, it needs arms and a face change.
Other than that 'tis perfect.

I like your lava compared to most packs is well balanced. , however is an example of an effect that I could see improving the animation.
The fluctuation glow(shimmer) , and distortion. Another

That being said, the point of this was to articulate an adjustment of lava, and not a complaint-criticism. You did say you are not likely to change it, because it would be difficult, but what about adjusting?
