Thank you so much for your dedication to keeping this pack up-to-date.
It's one of the best packs out there, imo, so, bonus on that.
I'll play with the default look, I just ... prefer it to be either sleeker (very very basic 16x packs) or more realistic (the middle ground the default textures go for is kinda bleh.)
So thanks!

Are you using the very, very latest version? It's pulling it from the pack for me.
Yep latest pack. It only seems to happen if you change from an older pack to a newer pack, like Misa303 to Misa304, without a client restart. If you select the new texture pack and restart the client before playing the texture loads just fine. It's no big deal and nothing to do with your pack, just wanted to let you know if you started to get people with the same problem.
Just so you dont think im crazy, Misa304 Enchantment table, MCPatched grass, Notches enchantment font...
An example of what it should look like in-game. (Excluding the white translation text.) The white text below the runes will not show up in the game, this is just provided to give people an idea of how to read the runes.
Latest Everything, and ive been able to reproduce the error. Its just the prerelease acting up, just surprised no one else ran into it.
Same here, I JUST repatched it and it has the problem. I am using TMI and Rei minimap however

If you start the game with Misa's pack selected, the enchantment font works, but if you switch from Default to Misa's, the original font stays. With prerelease 3, there are now two FontRenderer objects, but the patcher only knows about one of them. I'm working on a fix, but in the meantime, restarting the game should make it display the right font.
My old Infdev world is nearly 1GB, too large for me to upload on my connection.

why is the grass (better grass?) color so ugly and dry?
Likely you're using a mod that conflicts with Better Grass or failing to adequately clean your installation before running MCPatcher. This isn't an issue with my pack, it's a general Better Grass issue. My suggestion would be if you don't want to give up whatever other mods you may be using, clean your installation and reinstall MCPatcher with Better Grass unchecked.

Misa i (still) use your old font (i personally like it better) and i was wondering if you can update it for the Enchantment Table thing thanks
Could you be more specific on what you're looking for? There's no need to update the old font. The Enchantment table font is a separate file which works regardless of which main font file is used. Do you mean like a higher resolution version of the SGA or something?

...so misa do you have 32x32 updated??...
I never had a 32x32 pack, so I can't really update it, eh heh... If you want a 32x32 version though, you can just resize every png in my pack to 50% the resolution in an image editor that supports transparency, like Paint.NET.

Fantastic Texture Pack but the mobs look a little....how can I put it..... Messed up. The other problem is the absolute awkwardness when comparing textured-items to mod-items. Maybe can you make some mod-textures, such as a texture for Balkon's Weapons or heck, even Koda's Clay Soldiers(The dolls), but until then, im not downloading.
So yeah, exactly what I asked, a higher resolution version of the SGA. Seeing as you already made it though, I guess there's no need for me to.

no baby animals? they look like the normal one
Er... Show me where the baby animal skins are supposed to be in a texture pack and I'll do them. As it is, I don't think there's I can do about this. Blame Notch for being lazy recycling the adult models and skins for baby mobs.

Is it normal that the download of the Texturepack via adly to mediafire takes 30-40mins?
And yes i have a fast new Computer.
No, that isn't normal at all if you're on a decent connection. Your computer's speed has absolutely nothing to do with it. Typically your Internet connection speed has everything to do with it though. Do you have this issue on mirror 3 or 4? If not, then just use those. My adf.ly link is optional afterall. I've no control over the speed of the servers that host my files though.

This pack is so much my favorite, its what minecraft looks like for me. i couldnt tell anymore how vanilla looks like.
BUT
The cake and tamed wolves ...
Not criticism, just feedback, as i said, the rest is great.
I'd much rather have the criticism. It's the only reason I uploaded my texture pack, if you read the history blurb on the first post. It was so I could improve it by receiving criticism on things that may have slipped by my RADAR due to over-exposure of my own work. So in the light of potential improvement, what's your issue with the cake and tamed wolves?

This isn't really valid criticism. Generally the difference between plain old insulting and validly critiquing is that you actually state what you think could or should be done to improve whatever it is that's being critiqued. As it is I have way more people asking me if they can use my mobs in their texture packs than I have people who are just flat out saying they suck. You need to explain how you'd go about improving them.
As far as textures for other mods go. I work hard just keeping up with the main texture pack and the mods I personally support as it is. I'm also one of the fastest high resolution packs to actually update. Reasonably, I cannot possibly be expected to provide and constantly update textures for every mod out there I don't even use. Especially when I already have a long-established policy to not support mods that alter gameplay or use Modloader. Please read the FAQ.

any chance of a 32x? i love this tex pack but my computer goes up in when i try to use it :/
I've made several responses about how you can resize the pack yourself in much more detail. Anyone can resize a texture pack with no art skill required. The gist of it though is: Grab Paint.NET for free, extract all the files from the texture pack, open all the pngs, resize their resolution to 50% (25% total area), save, repackage. It's a little tedious, but very easy. The main reason I don't provide an official 32x32 version of the pack, is that I honestly don't think it looks good enough for me to label as my work. That and I already have enough work stress from just updating the pack as quickly as I can then uploading it to three mirrors and updating various sites that make use of the download links. Someone really needs to just write a script that automatically downsizes the resolution of texture packs.
Just want to say how wonderful I think the texture pack is, and what I personally found better through your alternates file or some manual tweaking: Wood Planks, Mossy Cobble, Red Mossy Cobble (yes, I still call it that), Soul Sand, Glowstone, Clay, Glowstone, Iron/Gold/Diamond Blocks, Flowers, Furnace/Despenser, Cake, Redstone (which I plan to change again...), Wood Door, Iron Bars, Workbench, Chests (had to manually re-texture the lids to be uniformly colored with the sides (301), though not a problem in the latest update (304)... don't know why was a prob to begin with), Bed (Adjusted Hue/Saturation to make it blue-greenish), and plan to switch the pumpkin/melon textures so I can keep my "Creeper Melon" for my let's play's
My guess is it will work, but I'm asking to make certain.... Texture pack version 304 works with Minecraft version 1.7.3 (I'm keeping a copy around for one of my LP's)?

what are you trying to do? you are not supposed to compress anything.
Read the main post. It requires Randomobs for the mob skin variance.
link pls...??
