I'm not noticing anything that's changing with any of the mobs.
Naturally you still have to wait for Randomobs to update for that component to work. The pack will work fine without it though. I just finished up some wolves for the upcoming update. When tamed, all will have a different colored scarf too, which should help make them more fun to collect a complete set of. So be sure to grab my update which should be coming out around the same time Randomobs updates.
Now I'm off to see what I can do with the 'snow golems.'
I know you don't support mods that use mod loader or add stuff to the game, but maybe when your bored you could make textures for RedPower
Eloraam said in the latest update he fixed crash when mod isn't installed.
Any ways if you say no sorry for asking

You asked if it is possible to use texture pack without plugin.
Indeed it is possible.
Now, if you want answer to different question, you have to ask that question instead.

Misa already answered it, thank you. Texture Pack does work, but doesn't randomize the mobs looks as the Ramdomob mod hasn't been updated yet.

You need to use MC Patcher if you want to use Misa's Textures. They are HD Textures and the only 2 mods you can use with them are MC Patcher or Optifine (which hasn't been updated yet).

Ok thanks I don't want to sound dumb, and yah I am new to minecraft I only been using it for a short while. When you mean by 'MC' patcher. You mean like the MC updater? I am already on the recent version of Minecraft 1.8.1. Or do I need to download a mod as you said? If I do could you direct me to which mods I need to download please? Thanks alot if you can. :smile.gif:

Well this totally sucks. I can't seem to use this pack anymore. Even with updating to the latest java, giving it a gig of memory I can't play more than 2-3 minutes before minceraft crashes with an out of memory error. Plays fine with the default textures, but just crashes constantly with these hd ones. Which really blows because I love this pack and hate to play with the default textures.

I have fixed this same issue by installing Java 7 JDK. Misa might want to put this fix on the main thread for others with this issue. The Java 7 JRE didn't work for the development kick does so here is a link.

Its highly likely that on far render with 64*64 packs you need more then 1Gb of ram. I use 2Gb on mine and its fine, allocate more if you have it, otherwise lower your render distance (that also makes a very large difference, about 40% less memory from far to normal, from my tests).

Possible exception to the "Misa's mobs are universally scary" rule?
(The Creeper variant can wait for Randomobs support.)

Don't insult the guy, he's new to Minecraft. Point him in the right direction.

This is the one you need:
Which mods are you currently using?

None currently, and thanks for the link. It fixed the problem. :smile.gif: +1

And the memory used is never more than 200-300 meg.
