Still love the texture pack. Great job with the new ones for 1.8. It makes the chicken look appetizing to me. :biggrin.gif: Also, the new mossy stone texture is perfect in my opinion. <3
Oh, there's a slight texture-colliding issue on the chests. It flickers between 2 textures where the lid and base sections combine.
That's the biome grass/leaves colors. If you want the default colors, delete "grasscolor.png" and "foliagecolor.png" (or move them out of the .zip) in the misc/ folder of the texture pack.
Yeah I know that, but as you can see in the picture grass and tree's color is not same in the same biome it has different color in 1 tree
Will you ever do textures for the more ores mod, i think your ores are the best ive seen so far
Why don't people read FAQs?
Q: Will you make some textures for (insert mod name here)?
A: Possibly. But most likely not. I only try to support purely graphical mods. Any mod that alters entities, gameplay or adds any other thing to the game that can corrupt your saves will not be supported by me. If you find a non-intrusive, purely graphical mod, please suggest it for my review. See here for more details. I will then decide whether or not I will support it with my art. I will take alternate texture requests though. Best place to suggest those is in my Tinychat (Mon-Fri).
A bit of both. It's normal for my pack to have that range of gradients, and bi-color trees, while rare, do occur. However, Notch has TOTALLY wrecked the way biome colors are handled by grasscolor.png and foliagecolor.png The new biomes no longer properly draw from the source the way the old ones did. I will be addressing this in my next update with an overall greener-all-around default biome palette. Bi-color trees will still appear, but they'll also appear the same way in the vanilla textures. No way around some of this short of a completely uniform color.

Great work on 1.8, but dear god you made the Enderman look TERRIFYING!!
Honestly I think they were much more terrifying before I found out that their mouths could open.

I really like ure texturepack, but in my world all normal trees are brown now. Only the birchs are green. The rest is brown and i have a lot of wood around
Edit : I looked in my outher seeds.. sometimes the grass is really a little bit to grey. a complet biome with grey grass loooks a little bit bleak/sad... The biome looks like a Fallout/postapocalyptic Tex pack
My pack is intended to look somewhat dark and bleak at parts, though typically in cold and desert areas. See my first response here for other factors involved beyond my control.

I guess we don't choose texture packs, they choose us.
Unless you're me, then you just build one tailored to your own needs.

I don't really see why you need monetary support for this, but I'm more than happy to give you other people's money through adfly.
I'm not asking for money. I have four download links, only one of which is adf.ly, and many people have asked how they could donate to voice their support for the work I've done. It got kinda depressing turning them down for months and months, just to see other people all too happily making money off of uncredited remixes and reposts of my pack.
I made the texture pack for one main reason: I didn't like the default textures and wanted to make my own. I still plan to continue to update for as long as Mojang does, whether or not I get monetary support. I'm not going to deny others the ability to show their thanks though. Nor am I going to refuse to appreciate the motivation and support I receive for my work.

Can't wait for Misa's alternative skins for the Wolves when RandoMobs gets updated. Wolf variety, FTW.
Shh, don't tell anyone I only have one wolf done so far, and actually did the Mooshroom and the new grass for the mushroom biomes in 1.9 when I should've been working on the wolves.

My problem is,that since 1.8 the game lags when I'm using Misa's texture pack. It was in use ever since I'm playing Minecraft which is something aroung 2 months and I never had any problems with lags - Now I can't play while using it and that really pi**es me off.. I'm using an OnBoard-Video-Card but I did the last two months, too and didn't have any lags...Please Help
My pack isn't exactly to blame any more than any other HD texture pack. A couple suggestions though would be to clean your installation and re-run MCPatcher, but this time, go into the options tab and increase the Java heap size to something higher than it is, but lower than the total amount of RAM you have on your machine. Also updating java has been known to help with performance. I'm a bit suspect of the latest version of MCPatcher though, I've noticed a few issues with it which I'm hoping'll be addressed soon.

I love your texture pack Misa! I am having a small issue with 1.8 though, the health bar is showing bouncy pink grid instead of your graphics. I'm not running any other mods and this is the only problem I seem to have run into so far. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
Either you forgot to download or select the very latest version of my pack, or the pack itself somehow got corrupted when it was downloaded. I'd suggest re-downloading from another mirror.

Since MC supports higher res texture packs by default now...
It doesn't. It just no longer crashes, but it still doesn't support high res texture packs at all. You'll get weird fire animations on grass blocks 'n' such. MCPatcher for now is a necessary evil for all high resolution texture packs.

...I am the creator of the Texture Artist Union, a growing community of texture artists that have banded together to promote and protect each other...
I appreciate the offer, though I don't really have much of a need for promotion or protection at the moment. And I have a huge aversion to authority or being a follower of any kind. Especially if the group leaders are requesting money... I've way too many bad experiences with that kind of thing growing up.

I'm getting "out of memory" issues every few minutes when using this pack. Anyone else?
I think it's just a general issue with 1.8.1 or MCPatcher. I've been getting this problem myself, and I didn't in the 1.8 pre-release on an older version of MCPatcher. I suspect MCPatcher more and more lately though.

I try your latest release yesterday, and i got 2 problems.
Had this happen to me just today too. I'm guessing MCPatcher.

Can i still run randomobs even though it still only supports 1.7.3? or do we have to wait for that?
Have to wait for Randomobs to update and for me to update the pack to support its new features, as well as update the mob roster properties file.

Misa, I found a bug with the new stone bricks stair...
Notch strikes again! Not an issue with my pack. If it's not also bugged on the vanilla textures, then MCPatcher's to blame.
Phew. Now it's time for me to plop into bed and try to sleep off this flu I have.
Misa, ma'am, great mod, but is there a texture pack to change to clouds to HD textures? Otherwise, I'll see if your old one for Premium Woods still works.
EDIT: Just tested the older one and it lags like hell. Oh well, hopefully Optifine will be updated soon so I can use it.
Still, good texture pack, ma'am. If you know where I can get teh HD clouds, I would be most appreciated.

I also have the 256X256 Realistic Texture Pack (though I almost never use it as Misa's is better) and it has "High Def" clouds (as of 1.7.3 last I personally checked).
NOTE: When I say it has "High Def" clouds, I mean the clouds are still square, but they appear to be smaller squares. The drawback of this is each cloud STILL has the same original shape/size of the default clouds, and it creates a wierd flickering with the clouds when up close (or odd squaring off lines from any distance).
Finally... I've asked Misa a few times already about this, and I kinda do understand why nothing's been done yet...
I'm on a Mac and have patched this texture pack but all the flowers, grass, and torches have lines outlining the cube they represent. plus the trees have random blocks of brown leaves in them. they are nothing like the the screenshots I have seen of the texture pack. Please help.

Definitely going to download this!
you apparently haven't since everything in your screenshot looks like what happens when someone doesn't use the HD patcher

UPDATE:
Re-patched with Mcpatcher 2.1.1 and it cleared up the problem.
