Q: Will you make the pack resolution higher than 64x64?
A: Not with the pack in its current state. Possibly when mipmaps are adequately supported by the game. As it is though, my attempts at this have produced undesirable results. Namely HORRIBLY grainy distant textures and atrocious performance issues with the shader maps.
Can we get some more spoilers? Cant wait for 1.8 just to use your updated pack!
I have a tinychat for this kinda thing. Well, it's mainly made for tech support, but if you're looking for spoilers, I can also broadcast there and show off anything you wanted to see. I've been doing this kinda thing over there since late last year or so. Just know that I sometimes take the weekends off, so today is probably one of the last best guaranteed days for spoilers. (Since the update comes on Monday)
Nice, I can't wait too. I heard this 1.8 supports 64x textures, so maybe we won't have to mod MC to use your pack...
False. It doesn't support 64x textures. It just won't crash on them. They'll display extremely buggily. You still need MCPatcher. Fortunately it seems to work just fine without an update.
That is about as blunt as it gets I suppose. I was simply asking as I was curious, not trying to hound you like others may. But I see that even this comment I am making doesn't matter. So I will leave it at that.
awe you didnt do the pig texture yet, if you can sometime fix the pig texture, otherwise it wont show the new 3d nose that was added lol at least do it just for the normal pig.png (see the orig 1.8pre pig.png to see the 3d nose).
I'll be fixing the pigs around the time I update for randomobs support again.
Also to everyone using my pack, the silverfish skin is a bit glitched out due to a miscalculation. I've since been able to get a good close look at the silverfish to determine how their model is handled, this is the fixed/revised version that'll be standard in the next version for those who'd like to be ahead of the next update.
-Save it as silverfish.png
-Open misa300.zip
-Go into the mobs folder
-Drag and drop silverfish into the mobs folder in misa300.zip

yeah it works fine with 64x64 without the mod mc but we need the updated textures for it to look right.

Curse PremiumForgot to include the new ALTERNATES.png, so here that is. The art on this file still falls under the terms of service as the rest of the pack.
