We all should get females to do the texturepacks look at this 1nce im on misa i cant go back Vote up if u agree!I love this ssooo much!My fav ily misa!
Incredible texture pack... I've been using for quite some time now and am soooo happy to finally see some female villagers, especially since babies are popping up everywhere! And the new Iron Golem is super bad! Keep up the great work... my favorite pack by far!
can't help but notice Misa only refers to MCpatcher, and not Optifine mod.. Optifine works better, it automatically patches all the HD textures and font, and you can also configure other video settings

I'd prefer Optifine as well, not so much because of the performance, but because you can configure things in game without having to repatch the jar. If it could finish copying everything MCPatcher does, I'd stop using MCPatcher. Optifine still seems to have trouble with some of the custom colors, but sp614x said he's working on it.
Misa, however, hates Optifine. So until MCPatcher goes away, or her issues with Optifine are dealt with, she likely won't post anything relating to Optifine in the OP.

Optifine is just ripping off the custom color support from MCPatcher which Kahr and Misa both developed. Those of us who don't have crappy systems don't need all the extra crap Optifine installs. Plus IMO, and the opinion of many others, MCPatcher's HD texture, Hd Font, and Custom color support is much much better then optifines. Why use a rip off when you can use the original?
Please, can you cahnge Redstone dust? It looks like redstone ingots. Make it more like the default, with dust. Also, make 11 a broken disc, because it's what it's supposed to be.
Hmm, still trying to figure out if I like the new biome coloring... Doesn't seem quite as warm now, but the greens look very alive now in places where it looked a little dead before. Overall very nice.
I just donated $5. I've been using this pack since 1.4 beta. Keep up the good work!
Thanks. I greatly appreciate it. It really does help out.

I kind of hate to ask this because your pack is awesome, but how would I go about editing the water gradient for specific biomes?
I made a whole tutorial and template for this: http://www.minecraft...t/topic/870780- Be sure to bump the thread with any comments if you found it useful. I'm sure plenty of other artists will find this information to be of great value so long as they can find it.

There is gona be a problem now that its 1.2.3 correct me if im wrong...
Consider yourself corrected. Unless they add new art to the game in a bug fix patch, I never need to update my pack for them.

Netherbrick stuff is grey in Misa410...
No, it's not. Follow the installation instructions and ensure custom colors is checked and your netherbrick will be the usual burgundy color. The only thing changed is that the netherbrick fences are now black-ish to resemble wrought iron. I felt netherbrick fences were absolutely worthless in their vanilla state. I mean really, who's gonna build anything that'd need burgundy-colored fences?

Because MCPatcher is the only patcher that makes full use of the features in my pack. Optifine does not 'work better.' It has optimization of FPS on slower computers. It's extra graphical options like mip-mapping are atrocious to anyone who actually knows what real mip-mapping is supposed to look like. But most of the ideas it's practically stolen from MCPatcher--like Custom Colors is a huge damn joke in implementation. A majority of the features supported in my pack by MCPatcher simply do not work well at all in Optifine. But really I've gone into all of this in greater detail in the past among other things related to why I do not approve of Optifine and why publicly supporting Optifine over MCPatcher is basically slapping me and my hard work in the face. If you want more detailed explanations behind this reasoning use the search feature.

...Misa, however, hates Optifine...
With good reason. It takes a **** on the good ideas of other authors (Myself included) by attempting to copy their work (and repeatedly failing at it while claiming success for the download numbers) almost in its entirety instead of aiming to work alongside a compliment to it (Y'know, turning a cooperative modding community into aggressive competition for business.) and then has the nerve to slap double-layered ad links on all their downloads. If a modding community is all about making money for them, they should stick to producing original content.

They're crystals, not ingots. And this pack isn't aimed at being 100% like vanilla. It's supposed to be a realistic pack, and I preferred the idea of using crystals/gemstones to conduct energy rather than dust. Also given the fact that my redstone ore looks crystalline, it just seemed more fitting. As far as the broken record thing goes. Again I'm not trying to copy vanilla 100% . I personally thought the broken record was horribly unrealistic (You can't play a broken record). Instead I put more effort into making my records unique and detailed. I spent a night with a friend listening to all the music and coming up with images and color schemes that we felt fit the music itself. And that's why my stuff looks the way it does.

@Misa Just wanna Ask something..can i use some Textures from your Tp for my mix pack?
PM me. I don't conduct permission requests on this thread. PM's (or email) are a much better format for me because it makes it easier to keep track of who I've given permission to with one quick search.

Most of the coloring remained the same as before. The only notable changes I made were to the Mushroom biomes and colder biomes. Taiga for instance I figured looked better with a deep evergreen grass color rather than the brown it used to have. It just seemed to make more sense for a pine forest to me. Mountains I also made the grass more yellowish to simulate the lack of need for excessive chlorophyll at higher altitudes. The only other change would be that I shifted all of the water colors closer to the default blue so their borders wouldn't be so jarring. Unfortunately the blending between biomes isn't as organic as it used to be (Due to the new way it's rendered by the game), but at least it's easier for anyone with MS Paint to tweak the colors to their liking.

I was going to say it was called Redstone dust, but then I saw it's no more. Well, maybe it's right.
Altough, about 11, well, in fact, a totally broken disc can't play, but damaged can, altough with failures. Maybe just some stcratches. 11 seens like a disc someone made just before dying, and was lost to time, but then found by another person.
Have you ever thought of reworking your stone? I mean it looks great in small groups but in large walls like on the side of the mountain it. Rest of the pack looks great though!
edit: question already answered on this page in a post by misa herself, I'll just let it linger here for spreading the knowledge
little question. did the netherbrick fence get colored black at some point or am I doing something wrong? using misa410 and mcpatcher mcpatcher-2.3.3_02 with minecraft 1.2.3
answer: yes they are black now, there is nothing wrong, it just looks more awesome that way.
thx 4 the nice pack, I overall appreciate it very much
Let me start by Saying I love the Pack, and have been using it since about Beta1.3, 1.4 (can't remember, my numbers could be way off).
There are just a couple things, you mentioned above that the netherbrick should go back to it's old burgundy if patched correctly, and I have done so, except my netherbrick is more pink than in 1.1. Is this intentional, or has something gone awry? The other thing is the nether-fence. You explained why you made the change, and I understand and respect the reasons, but I tend to build mostly with stone/cobble/stonebrick and the splashes of color I got from burgundy fencing were excellent. Is there a way I can get my colored fence back? And if the pink netherbrick was intentional, is there a way I can make it look like 1.1 again?
Thank you for the Lovely-Epic-Awesome Pack, and for any assistance you are able to offer.
If you want to change the color of netherrack, it's pretty simple. Open /misc/netherblack.png or /misc/netherred.png And fill in whatever color you want for the black and the red. (At default it shouldn't look pink unless your gamma or brightness is way too high--on my monitor with pantone-calibrated gamma, 15-30% brightness is what I usually play on and optimize the pack around.)
If you want the old Netherbricks, there's two things you have to do:
1-Open color.properties and delete the following lines:
