You have both been very supportive and understanding in removing the texture as soon as pointed out. Just shows though how once it gets used at some point in the past it kind of spreads everywhere.
Not even sure how I would've tackled the salmon without it also looking like a turtle, without somehow redesigning the model.
The cube head of the model is so in defiance of the shape of a salmon's hooked beak. To texture it, the mouth seems like it'd have to be open to work. Even then, I'm not sure how well it could be pulled off--with or without transparency.
As far as some pointers for making the eye more realistic. Avoid the twinkle. Eyes do not sparkle underwater as they do above water.

Anyway, Im trying to download the, Misa+ complex_patch_by_Guks_v1.2. Im hoping its compatible with version 1.12.2. all the links ive seen so far (large thread) are to mediafire's give us money page. Has anyone got a functioning link to this file i could access?

Misa has requested that personal changes, additions, and subsequent versions(i.e. 1.14) be handled through patches and not released as a separate combined pack like that. This was stated in her legal disclaimer in the files you removed.
Edit: It is my understanding that mods have deleted the post that this is a response to, making this post look context-less.

You should remove textures you have no rights to reupload.
You don't need them included in your pack, either, you only include a pack meta and the files that are actually necessary - the files you changed.

If my memory serves me right, the upward rain texture was an MCPatcher thing. They were flipped in-game.
Edit: Never mind what I said. Haha. It was older versions of Minecraft, not MCPatcher. More recent versions have the texture flipped.

I agree, the salmon doesn't look right and I'm not sure it fits Misa's style. The puffer fish texture is muddy. I like the slabs.
