I would only make one suggestion: More random blocks. It's already more than anything I could have expected (especially the mobs, omg, red-jacket elvis zombie, the ghast and that hideous black spider, you owe me new pants btw, that spider made me mine).
misa help me i can see line light from custom colors and flying zombie head! !!!!!!
If your using Optifine, it is actually an easy fix for the zombies. Just cropthe zombie immage files in the pack to be 128 pixels tall, and everything works just fine.
With how easy this fix is to make the pack compatable with optifine, I don't know why the author refuses to do it. ¬_¬
Other than that, this is a visually spectacular pack, and one of my favorites.

I'm not refusing to do anything. How many times do I have to say that problems arising with this pack on Optifine are Optifine's to correct and not mine? It's not like I'm actively working to make my pack incompatible with Optifine.
The format of skins changed in the latest official snapshot and I updated my pack to use the the new format to be the up to date. MCPatcher added a backwards compatibility fix to take care of this problem on all versions. It's not my responsibility to to re-adapt my pack to cater to the fact that Optifine is simply out of date and does not provide backwards compatibility fixes for older versions of the game. If Mojang decides to do anything with the new space on the zombie textures, I want to be prepared for quickly adapting my pack to it.
Optifine also doesn't support a good chunk of the features included in my pack. Should I remove those features just because of that? Of course not. Besides, if I were to "fix" my zombies to use the old format, whenever the game updated to 1.4, I'd still get Optifine users complaining about how I need to fix my zombies to the new texture format that they're currently using. I simply cannot please everyone simultaneously, especially they're not using the pack as it was designed to be used.
@Executor32 Well... 'The King' is dead. Maybe I should make an Elvis zombie at some point to avoid any future confusion?

It's because, despite the wall of text between our posts, Misa's been a vocal hater of Optifine. Shame, it's a nice texture pack, but it gets bugs now and then that don't get fixed because someone still clings to MCPatcher and refuses to accept that Optifine does everything MCPatcher does, only more, and better.
Some people are just stubborn and refuse to move onto new and better things, like people that stick to an old version of a browser and refuse to ever update it.

Java is bulky, slow, hogs resources, passes out from exhaustion, and although it was big in the 90's is now typically only found on poorly designed websites. Much like Harry Knowles. So any time Minecraft crashes, blame Java.

Sure Optifine does more, but I don't see Optifine with better glass? Custom colors? Better skies? Snapshot compatibility? I mean seriously, you actually have to resize the zombie texture for it to work correctly.

it does have all of that, and boosts you FPS by like 50-100% or more, not to mention it lets you adjust things to ur liking
@misa
i have probs with it. when i set my settings on fancy, water stops rendering.
yes, i'm using optifine BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE A DAMNED GRAPHICS CARD (i really like being able to have at least 30 fps in mc), and i like to be able to use other mods without crashing...
aside from that, love the pack, althoguh in fast mode, the lighting doesn't work... maybe at least try to make it compatible wit MOST OF YOUR USERS. I really do not care if you don't like optifine, but please don't screw the rest of us over, you have such a great texture pack, and i'd hate to have to use a different one because I can't get my mods to work with mcpatcher.
Optifine actually doesn't have better skies support, and its CTM support is extrmely buggy.
Better Skies support is being added, and there's nothing wrong with Optifine's CTM.

You realize that this is fallacious slander and that personal attacks and flames are against the posting rules, yes? And seeing as you're not me, who are you to say what my stance is on anything?
As a mere three paragraphs constitute a "wall of text" you are apparently incapable of comprehending the meaning of I will set the record straight once and for with a simple bulleted list of facts:
I am not a vocal hater of Optifine.
I've willingly used Optifine many times in the past.
Optifine does not support all the features MCPatcher does plus more. It simply has a different set of features with some overlap.
I'm absurdly progressive, but also somewhat of a pragmatist. I value having more options over fewer on all of my software--new or old.
For my texture pack I place the most value on features that give me more creative control as an artist over (in lieu of) things like performance improvements--MCPatcher simply offers many more features I enjoy (and helped design) than Optifine currently does. If this were to change, there is no stubborn brand-loyalty holding me back from switching.
The extra performance features Optifine provides over MCPatcher are of no use to anyone with a decent gaming machine and minimal experience with video card tweaking.
MCPatcher works for snapshots within 24 hours of their release. Optifine does not. My pack needs to always be up to date with snapshots to be ahead of schedule for timely releases.
The only real annoyance I derive from anything related to Optifine these days is from its rabid fans who think I'm actively out to destroy Optifine or something along equally silly lines because of their inability to deal with the fact that their program of choice cannot handle all the features of this pack or multiple versions of Minecraft simultaneously.

Obviously you missed the part where she explained how she's already prepared for the next update, and optifine doesn't yet have backwards compatibility for the new texture size.
Btw, I love watching the sun rise through the semi transparent glass. It's so pretty =D
ctm in optifine totally works. There's not only works better skies, better glass, caps on mobs. But if you fix it then optifine mcpather will not be needed.

I don't understand why Optifine users don't understand that some machines just can't run all texture packs at their full potential, for the longest time I couldn't run any HD texture packs due to my ram being very low, I upgraded my RAM now I can properly play with your pack. Video card sucks, so I cant use the Better Skies, do I complain to you to make it compatible (AKA, limit your creative control)? No, I understand that I just can't have everything I want. Keep making a great pack Misa!
I'm on a mac so it automaticcaly decompresses downloaded zip files. When I install texture packs I rezip it so that I can use it. But it seems I can't because when I download it it gets stuck on the decompressing process. This only happens with your download :/ wierd
Hello. I've been using your texture pack (with Optifine) for a while now, and it looks amazing!
But recently I switched to MCpatcher (Because of floating zombie head) and it is MUCH better than before!
Just wanted to say I love your texture pack and will never switch again.
I haven't posted here in a looooong time. (For a time, didn't have a computer to even play MC... much less do anything else)
Just have to say: it is sooooo good that I can use your texture pack in both 1.3.2 & the snapshots (I have a reason I need separate versions of the game) & keep up the AWESOME work.
PS - gave up trying to resize the sun (moon worked fine) with your latest release as I had done over a year ago (thank you again for your help at the time for the sun/moon to be more realistic to my personal preferences *thumbs up*). Since my computer mishaps, I will use the current sun/moon sizes (I like the glow the sun has) and just wanted to say (again) keep up the AWESOME work.

Don't know what you have available on mac, but if there are any, try using download manager.

I would only like you to consider the majority of the users. i'm not trying to get you to drop mcpatcher altogether, just keep in mind how few minecraft players actually have gaming rigs. I for one, do not, and so i'm stuck with 10 fps or less without optifine, as all I have at the moment is a laptop wit intel graphics. also, I have used mcpatcher before, and it's a pain in the ass to do anything reasonable with, like adjusting the ram allocation, or changing mod configurations, besides which, optifine has far more options (including far more view distances, such as extreme). that is not to say that it doesn't have its own issues, but most are something a modding laucher will fix. i presently use x-ray, keybinds, and rei's minimap, as I am a server admin. I suspect that if i were to try mcpatcher, my laptop would start on fire....
i am building a new gaming rig, and I'll try out mcpatcher on that, oughta give me at least 60fps what with the HD 7950 i'm putting in.
what would be awesome would be like something combining the performance enhancements and customization of optifine with the reliability and graphics features of mcpatcher
you talk of how mcpatcher is so far ahead of optifine, and yet mcpatcher is currently incompatable with minecraft forge. Every time you try to load a world, you crash. Making mcpatcher currently unusable by the community playing with mods. Where as Optifine is still working.
