Oops forgot to actually upload the new zip... should be up in a minute.
Personal thought:
Sometimes its tough being a texture pack maker..
People mention everything they don't like and not the things they do.
I had this though before your post though roboticaust thanks!
I could give you quite a long list of likes if you'd like :wink.gif: Also considering grabbing one of those paypal money cards tonight while at work so I can pop you over some cash for your hard work. I mostly use your texture pack for my youtube recordings (granted a few alts and a few personal tweaks to some stuff but namely because the pack was sorta half complete). I find it is very bright and easy on the eyes and gives the game a very platformer look and feel (also makes my recordings a bit brighter which helps a bunch since youtube degrades contrast for some bizarre reason I've yet to figure out).

No I'm good it was just a thought. It's not always like that anyway only sometimes. :tongue.gif:
Yeah I really hated the high saturation of the default pack so I started my pack for personal use.
In a way its still just for personal use but I share it with you guys, I mostly update textures that I see in game a lot but I do have plans to do them all eventually..
I wish I could upload videos to youtube.. I can't seem to find a good way of converting my FRAPs raw files into something thats way smaller but high quality.
Ok, just played around in creative using this.
I don't realy like the wool textures. And Netherrack doesn't look right.
Powered Rails texture is quite gay IMO. But very good job.

Windows Movie Maker works well for youtube if you don't feel like putting in tons of time doing fancy video editing, plus it's free. Has settings to upload to youtube on file creation as well as preset resolutions for the conversion and a few simple editing things such as animated transitions. It's a good starter program for getting into yt-ing.

Try Sony Veges Pro 10 to render in high res and Magic video converter to convert to almost any video format you want.
The Sony veges pro 10 is a little pricey but i think you can find a way around that. (cough cough). :biggrin.gif:
Hey everyone just letting you know I'm trying out a new download link for my texture pack through Adf.ly.
I'll see how it works for a while and decide what to use from there.
EDIT: Oh sorry guys won't be an update for a while. Sending in my mobo for warranty so I can't access all my texture pack stuff.
I had the new piston textures done too I just never got around to uploading them =/
Sorry to hear about the computer issues...guess this is why you make backups on an external source, like a memory stick! :wink.gif:
BTW, any chance you could keep hosting from the older location in parallel with adf.ly? I just really don't want to put some other download manager on my machine, and I'm not seeing any way to download without doing just that from adf.ly. The older link was maybe a bit slow here in the US, but the file's not that huge--I can wait for a whole minute for the download.
I remember first seeing this pack, way back when it first made itself known on the forum. Sadly, my PC at the time would keel over if I used anything higher than 32x32. Now, I have upgraded the beast. And I can use this pack! Somewhere, one of those fat baby angels is weeping for joy.

Or I could eventually try the giant Skip Ad button at the top right...

Kinda in the same boat myself. I built my current pc about a year and a half ago and overclocked the crap out of my 6 core processor and now the thing is acting up. Getting all sorts of weird hiccups even with it set back to standard settings. So I had to order new parts and take a small vacation from minecraft and youtube despite everyone getting frustrated at me for it lol. But I got a promotion at work and felt like spoiling myself anyhow, so I blew 2k on computer parts.
-I hate mushroom Biomes
-Wood has a bit more contrast between other textures (felt it was blending just a bit to much with stone products)
-Changed Giant Mushrooms (still need to fix little ones to match... (planning on reverting them to actual mushrooms)
-Placeholders for new nether textures.
-Fixed missing particles
-Fixed missing items
Note: Swamp biomes are hideous.. dunno why and dunno how to fix atm.
hmmmm At first I thought this pack looked like minecraft alpha. But now that I look at it closer it's an epic texture pack.
ps: Love the new nether brick :biggrin.gif:
