I'm in agreement with the comments on the ore. There should be enough to recognize the contents of the block from some distance.
I think ores are the hardest textures to do. I know that in my personal compilation I had to look through many different packs to find ones that appealed to me and looked as I'd imagine them to.

"Don't know why you should feel that there's something to learn... it's just a game that you play."
EDIT: Also I think its very hard to see how they look from a screenshot as aposed to in game while your moving around..
I'm trying to make them catch your eye from the corner but not be able to identify unless you look at it..

Or better yet try this one on for size!
Those ore blocks are perfect, keep them!
It makes finding ores exciting again! :biggrin.gif:
I'm glad you came back to this. :smile.gif:
Anyways, I like the new stone, and the ores are nice. The issue I'm having with them is that they don't actually have any texture, the ore part. It just looks like I'm mining for color, and this makes the whole texture look kind of flat.
The new ores look great man; the small detailed look fits the pack more than the old large chunks in my opinion. Glad your back by the way, good to be able to use my favorite texture pack again!
I love your texture pack ! Every texture is awesome... exept from : The water, I think I may have a problem... because it looks grey, that's weird caus' before the update I hade wonderful blue water (( )).

Only have gold, coal and iron.
EDIT: Also I've changed the doors and they will be in next update. I actually did it yesterday for myself =P.
They look much better.
Gold looks a bit hard to see though.
VVV awesome!

The iron would be better if it wasn't so pink though.
Bingo. That works wonderfully.
Agreed. Also glad you are back as well. You have no idea how many packs I went through trying to find a good one since arid wasn't updated. :sad.gif:
- New ores
- Different door window
Also I got a bit lazy with the iron/diamond and I just used the same texture but flipped it around a bit and changed the colour...
But you probably wouldn't notice if I hadn't told you because you rarely see iron and diamond right next to eachother to compare them =P
Enjoy!
P.S. I probably need to redo lapis lazuli because it looks different to all the other ores.

I hated making them.

Changelog:
Different rain
Different snow
Small changes to particles
I will probably be doing all the particles in the next day or two.
