I've been using this pack for ages, and I installed the newest version, only to find that you added a different font. It's too hard to read! It's to the point where I've installed another pack. Please, Aza, revert to the default font?
Already did, Gonna add the other font as optional in main post eventually..
Just I have a link to the default font in a few posts back just replace it with that for a quick and easy fix.
The blades on the pickaxes look really nice, but I am not a huge fan of the handles or the sticks, they seem a little wide to me. I'd use them anyway, but that's just my first impression. Also, yes, I need to click to view the image, too.
Hello Aza, I registered an account here just to say your pack is the first HD pack that I actually like. It is HD but stills "feels" correct, unlike way too many of the packs which go for some awkward looking photorealism. It feels a bit weird suddenly not being able to see mobs on the other side of my doors, but that's what happens when I don't bother to build windows, I suppose...

I am going to add windows evantually I just keep forgetting to do it!
Also here is a quick list of changes I've been meaning to do for a while.
- Different ores (harder to spot)
- Windows on doors
-and of course the textures I haven't done yet...
Tools are looking okay, but IMO there's not enough visual distinction between the wood and the stone.
It's a problem I have with the inventory, also. There are so many blocks now with a grey tone that they are starting to all look the same.
I love the sun-beaten dry and weathered look of the wood planks when part of a construction - however maybe the shovel could be a lighter tone considering it's freshly harvested? Just a thought, to make it visually more interesting and distinct...
I tried download it again. I tried mcpatcher many times, with same result. It says there is some security problem with java, or maybe my minecraft.jar is corrupted...
I have no problem with any other 128x128 pack. So I don't know why this one doesn't work.

Edit: of course i've downloaded original minecraft files, to have a clean installation, and to be sure my files are not corrupted.
I'm excited to see tools being implemented, and I like the general style, but the wood, stone, and iron do look too similar. I have this problem with the original stone and iron tools sometimes too. It is your pack though, so of course if you like them as you have them now, us players at least have the tooltips to help.
As far as the wood texture, I don't mind the color, it really fits the pack, if anything I miss the breaks in the planks... the continuous stripes of wood seem a little unnatural.
but again, these are just my humble opinions and I will accept whatever the talented artists choose to do...
other ideas... maybe after the ores are reworked (I think somewhere it was said it was on the to-do list), we could have item textures that match the ores? its kind of sad seeing the boring black lump popping out of such a beautiful detailed coal vein.
nice i like how the shovel axe and pick-axe turned out and the stick... that is all i can tell that changed :tongue.gif: great so far and the circle thing on the wood doors when it is open still bug me lol
This is my favorite texture pack. nothing else comes close. its because of the white cobblestone. My constructions look like they are shining, and i love it. Looking forward to all of your future work!
