I replied to your e-mail but I'm posting here in case you didn't receive it or if others have the same question.
The grass on the sides of the block is from a mod called BetterGrass which can be found here viewtopic.php?t=55700 . Once you have your texture pack installed you run this. It also comes with a great improved lighting mod.
The Sun and Moon textures I added myself. You can do this by creating a folder named Textures in Aza's rar file and placing the sun and moon files you like in there. Now you just can't grab a picture of the moon off of google or something. The sun and moon I'm using I found in another person's texture pack and moved them into Aza's.
Am I the only one who thinks the grayish wood looks good? I mean, this is an "arid" themed texture pack. Lush, vibrant, brown wood does not really fit the arid theme.

It doesn't look bad, I just thought a slight brown tint would make a world of difference. Arid wood is brown, even if just a little.
EDIT: I apologize, Aza. My personal preferences do not necessarily reflect yours. It is your texture pack after all!
I know I'm just saying that cause it seems everyone want to say that it should be browner. Even on my youtube vids everyone just keeps saying brown brown brown.

I think the color of tree look nice and unique. It fit the arid theme nicely. Maybe, and this is just an idea for ya, you can make a set of tree a bit more browner for the complainer to please them and put it as an extra texture that you can switch between. It would make many people happy ( not me really I like the way it is :smile.gif:, And btw leaves variation look awesome ) and for people like me who like the current tree color, we would still like it.
Anyway.. great texture mod keep up the great work.

I agree with you ,the wood looks perfectly fine, I love the style it gives to the pack
I personally am not a big fan of the new leaves. So far I think I've only seen one other opinion on them, but I'll cast my vote no. It's all up to you, really, though.
Ive used this pack for 2 months and I'm so impressed I check every day to see if there is a new update for this pack I couldnt play minecraft without it. Its just amazing so high quality especcialy with better light and better grass. I like the new leaves they give it a new feel. Yes its different but its original it makes the leaves look very interesting I would keep them. Im in love with this texture pack
I trid to install the pack and now my minecraft just crashes :sad.gif: Any one know why?
First, back up your saves and delete (or rename) your .minecraft folder to get a clean install of the game. Then try some of the suggestions below.
Things I have found need to be done to make the patch work correctly:
1) If it is bigger than 32x32 make sure you use Xau's HD patch. You need to download the new version of the patch every time minecraft updates, as this usually breaks the patch.
2) Have your minecraft on the default texture BEFORE running the patch
3) Don't run minecraft from the link in the patcher, launch it from the usual .exe to ensure you get the log-in screen
4) I've found quitting entirely after running the game for the first time with the patch, and then relaunching again (from the .exe) usually clears any blank screen I am getting and allowed me to use the patch in multiplayer where it wouldn't work before.
Here are a few images of my current biomes.
I've been messing around with them so you guys need to tell me what you think!
Also ignore the stupid glitch in far away chunks.
as i said before great work aza... heres your pack but with browner woods (logs, planks, fences, doors) and different trees and grass... also added a little window on doors...
also using betterlight,bettergrass,, and DoF
if anyone wants any info on this edit of Aza's brilliant texture pack, dont hesitate to pm me, i dont care if you dont like it so dont tell me...
Aza, just to say I absolutely love the colours you have chosen for the landscape and especially your water! They really are a breath of fresh air and a very pleasant change from my depressing views. I need to come and holiday with your pack and build some epic temples and such. That would be real fun! Keep up the amazing work, mate!

I changed leaves a bit, sort of experimenting still.
Not as realistic but if not to many people complain I'll probably keep them.
And I still consider myself on holidays so I'm not doing much on the pack at the moment.
