Aza, love the pack .. but I wish it worked on my machine. Like the previous post I am getting the following error after I have selected your texture pack:

Any ideas? When I remove your texture pack from the folder (AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\texturepacks), all is well with Minecraft again. Also, I am running vanilla (no mods) - both MixCraftHD and Glimmars_Steampunk_32x32_1.6 packs work.

One day, I will make a signature as cool as yours. Until then, this signature left intentionally blank.
It dosn't go in the texture pack folder.
You select it with the patcher and the patcher will do all the rest.
Textures need to be installed before the betterlight/AO/Bettergrass mod.
Fresh install will always work unless there is something wrong with your PC.
I really like it, it adds variety and charm to the landscape. My only suggestion is to maybe lighten the purple a bit and make it more "pastel" without making it brighter.
In my opinion this is the best texture pack out there. Just about every texture works really well with the others and provides very pleasing structures and landscapes. So nice work, I appreciate everything you have put into this!
However, I feel that there are a few things that are not quite working right visually that if altered can push this pack over the top to be the best for a long time to come. I feel that the lava is very grainy and lacks the smoothness and flow that is present in the water texture. I also think that the single dot in the middle of the ore does not work very well. Minecraft is (obviously) blocky, and you do an excellent job of capturing this blocky feel in your other textures that make the game feel authentic, but the circle in the middle of the ore clashes with the blocky aesthetic of the overall game, leaving a sort of "fake" feeling for the ore textures that detracts from the otherwise great dungeon feel. Perhaps breaking the single circle up into a few smaller ones could help?
If you do not agree with my comments that is fine, it is your pack and I recognize that, so in no way am I trying to bash you, just offering up some healthy criticism that you can certainly ignore if you wish :smile.gif:
Here is a preview to let you guys know I am working on the ores.
I haven't even tested this one in game yet so this is not official, but I will be changing the ores to look different eventually.
awesome work, however, i have to say, i am not liking the trees... they are bland in colour and they always appear very very edgy and sharp in the distance and looks realy distracting, id rather have your awesome textures but with the normal MC trees, including the actual wood of the tree, or maybe just the colour of the trees because i feel there is too much grey.
i also think the water needs more busy-ness, you can pretty much see right through it and i like to see some ripples or something...
great work on the flowers, i like how youve kept the mobs original,
but yea tl;dr,
wood needs to be browner in colour, and trees are bad :smile.gif:
How would I go about changing to a past cobble texture? I really prefer this one:

seconding this ALL THE WAY. Desert-themed stuff is my one favourite theme in the entire world. I prefer the old cobblestone because it looked sandy and worn down, is there some way you could provide it for us again? : (
Well all the older textures are still in the terrain.tpg you guys just have to open it up in a program like pain.ms or whatever it called and move them over the new textures you want to replace..

On another note I've redone mossy cobble! enjoy!
Pardon me for being clueless but where is this file? Links I've found on the first page seem to be broken and snooping around the domain doesn't bring anything up except an outdated texture file.

I have a Mac... None of this makes any sense to me.
Just want to say that i love this pack, i searched and searched and i fell in love with this. And the cherry blossom like trees are EPIC. Me and my friends have a private server and we all have the arid pack so we our buildings are around the same textures and they look amazing
Looking forward to more updates. Keep up the good work!

LOL! Freudian slip FTW!
Don't use MS paint. It doesn't support transparency. Use Paint.net. Go to paint.net to download it.
Extract Aza's zip file with 7zip, find terrain.png, open it with the paint.net app, select and copy the tile you want to use, paste it over the one you want to replace. Save the file as terrain.png and replace Aza's terrain.png with it. Open ( don't extract ) Aza's zip with 7zip and drag your new terrain.png into it. Approve the replacement. Install the modified Aza zip file and play with your new texture.

But I've kept a backup so I can change back if the people rebel.
Enjoy!
